I'm perfectly happy with workshop sounds and voiceover Lottie. Musical tastes vary so much that most of the time it's just an annoyance, but personal narration is nice to listen to.
Hi Lottie. It's good to see the pack howitzer back on centre stage. My preference is also mostly for voice-over and explanation of what you're up to, with some music during time-lapse shots, just so you don't feel like you have to be always chatting.
Canadian here... I subbed for the the Standard content, with the running commentary/explanations being Metric to my ears... well - that, and to be whispered to ;) ;) Keep up the good work, Lottie. Respect eh.
explain what you are doing, instead of playing music, makes it much more nteresting, greetings from Belgium, Europe (ps, i try to watch all your videos, i like the explenation you do a lot)
I like a hot cup of coffee in the morning. I like the feeling one gets when one discovers something new or exciting. I dislike the taste of most medicine. I also dislike the sensation one feels when one fails. Oh wait, you wanted to know how i felt about music or voice over. I like your voice and Music has a whole copyright issue with it. You have so far done an excellent job at keeping our collective attention. Please proceed as you would.
Lottie, I prefer your voiceover to random music: partly because you know how to do a commentary; and partly because … whinging comments by others are a distraction from the video that I am watching😁! Cheers from NZ🇳🇿.
I suspect Lottie can appreciate the "Washington's Dream" SNL skit, given her admiration of the imperial measurement system :P As for the timelapse parts, I'm fine with the vocal narration -- I'm also fine with music, Adam Savage sometimes uses it during his timelapse bits and it's completely unobtrusive (but then he tends to use soft jazz in those sequences which I'm kinda partial to).
I still think it’s a matter of surprise that this gun can be split into animal or even man loads for transportation. It would be interesting to obtain some of the pack harness as some must exist somewhere.
Hi Lottie , I rather hear your voice than just music but any background music is splendid .. and a bit technical about that grinding of those welds : don't you use quite thick discs for that job ? For thin cuts like that you should try the ones from Rhodius xtk6 , 0,6 mm thin and good for stainless steel also ...

I agree. It wouldn't be the same without Lottie's narration.

Time lapse and voiceover makes nice watching, music not necessary. Great work you're doing there. Thank you.
Doing a wonderful job, stay cool.
i like your comments, very informative
Great job I like you talking threw the video looking good 👍👍👍👌👌👌😊

Absolutely perfect!

past and present Lottie are both cute as a button
Another vote for voiceover
Today we're howitzer nerds.
Voiceover would be better than music, at least then you can still relate what it is you are doing. Great job on getting those legs to go down again.

I vote for no music. Thanks! I love your channel.
ultra thin discs would help in situations like that...and i prefer hearing you ramble..
If I remember correctly, our L5s had 3-part trail legs?
Three part trails, short section missing on top each side.

i like to hear you explain stuff mutch more than musick .voiceover is bether,

Music or voice over - why not both? And for music i voted for heavy metal!🤟🤘👍Stay safe, keep up the good work!
I'd prefer to listen to you chatting about stuff 🙂 You could add some workshop sounds over timelapses if you don't feel like a voiceover.
Prefer lottie explaining what is happening, like narrator. 😊 its like a lesson in vocational school 😊
Voiceover Lottie please. I can listen to music anytime but I watch your channel to hear about your work. The more information the better.
Is the L5 going back to Malanda? Shame the RSL closed, but I'd like to see it go where it'll be appreciated... Rather than as a playground for kids...
Sup tank nerd? I like voice over Lottie over music.
almost got the heat.....it cant be tight if its liquid
You can keep your FNFNQ summers all to yourself.
Music? How about HEAVY METAL 🤘🏻
Voice overs by far. The Music is ok, but I'd rather have the voice over or just a quick overview and then the audio sped up with the video.
Dear Lottie, if this is an Italian gun why is my Queens E11R stamp on the barrel please
Because we used this gun as the L5. I crewed one back in the 1970s.
@DaveCox56 stand fast for the queens colours!
@@jasonthompson5256 The guns were our colours!
No music thanks, it adds nothing. I would rather hear you explaining the process.
do what ever , it is YOUR CLIPS make no diffrence to me , just enjoy the vehicles you work on
