Purchased my e-nv200 2015 plate in November. Far and away the best thing I've ever owned. Perfect for work (garden maintenance). Travel 40-50 miles a day, get home and plug in. Perfect for next day. Xxxxxxx
hi i'm thinking of buying one of these , what would you sugest i look for with your experience of driving since 2015 , what sort of price would a 15 be worth now?
Thank you for your contribution to help others with their purchasing decision. Your honest down to earth personality combined with knowledge is much appreciated. All the best Sir
I have 2 of these. I pick up dogs in it and I can fit 8 dogs or more. Both of mine are 22kwh and I charge it while I'm at work. I have never serviced my first one for over 60k miles. It has saved me over 10k !!! Love this beast !!! Cant wait to get the 40kwh one later down the line. Although it is really pricey
Me too almost bought one. But went for 3year old leaf. Which now 2013. If i could got three year old nv would have . Now I gess waiting for more range cheap enough 5year old maybe . Not there yet
i actually got mine from JustEVs. I think its a very under rated EV. ive 4 girls, so always out with clubs, camping, bikes, football. im just coming up on 10k miles and apart from services ive had 2 tyres and a battery in the key fob. my KWH is 2.8 and ive worked it out at about 122 miles per gallon of "Electric" Used to driving a camper at 55mph, done a 143 mile round trip for 1Pound 77 pence. follow lorries and ive actually watched the battery guessometer go up. ive loaded an twin cooker in it and extractor hood and delivered it with 2 passengers too. seats all fold up out the way. just cant rate it enough. and its only the 24kw battery..
Thanks for the review, really like this van as it’s perfect for me. I’ve an ageing 11 year old caddy and I do very few miles a year as my work is all local. I’ve done just over 20000 miles in 8 years I’ve owned it with 43000 on the clock. The Nissan van is just perfect for my work.
Know someone who bought a secondhand 24kWh version of the van. He’s a sparks covering a 15mi radius, charges it overnight, which lasts him all day with a bit to spare.
I have the older 24kWh acenta rapid plus, interesting that they don’t seem to have changed the interior at all on the new version. As an electrician with a fully loaded van, roof rack with pipe tube and ladders on top I get around 60-80 miles to a charge. (It’s hilly in and around Bacup where I work). If I am going to a couple of jobs in a day I will stop at a rapid if I need to and top up while I have lunch and do some paperwork/make calls. I will be considering the 40 kWh version at the end of the year as the size is ideal for me and the extra range will be good.
@@lindasue8719 Dont know if you are still wondering, but we have the 7 seater 40 kWh version in a place called Innlandet in Norway (loads of snow and ice in winter), and its the best thing my wife has driven (and yeah, we used to have a massive Toyoyta Proace Verso 9 seater which this cars runs laps around, according to her) on ice, snow, gravel, grass, and off course roads (cabin is in the woods near an alpine resort called Trysil). Hope this helped a little bit :)
@@finnskogtroll5820 thanks! Yes, I never did get another vehicle yet and that one is still on the list so I was interested to hear your input, thanks again!
The e-NV200 'Evalia' is a 7-seater passenger car. Hatchback rear door, Sat Nav displays nearest charge points, Tinted windows and no bulkhead so It's more people friendly. Great vehicle, love it.
A big need for 200 mile / 300 klm e van , for Australian conditions , distances , work area , etc . Would Love a EV , purchase cost is still an issue , Gov. incentives would be good .
Hi Ryan, I’m a volunteer with fareshare every week and they use diesel Mercedes sprinter refrigerator vans to deliver food to community centres, schools and charities. I deliver around Coventry and Nuneaton and do around 70-80 miles per trip. Fortunately the guy who looks after the van acquisition is a Zoe driver and is seriously looking at env200 replacement. It would be brilliant to use an electric van and take another diesel powered vehicle off the road. BTW I’m collecting my Kona from Just evs next Wednesday, can’t wait.
Rob Heap what a fantastic service. I’m sure the people that benefit from your kindness really appreciate it 😁👍. Not only would it be good to replace the diesel vans because of the pollution but also the daily cost savings of driving them 😁👍
EV Opinion yes Ryan, I quite agree, lucky the guy in charge of the local fleet is an ev convert. Pity it’s only two vans as fareshare is a huge organisation. However, it’s a start. Keep up the good work with the videos, they’re brilliant. May see you at fully charged live perhaps? I’m there on the Friday.
The car version makes a great taxi! They have them in Blackpool. Although the ones in Blackpool are mostly the old 28KWh versions. A review of the taxi version would be great!
Jeez, I’m really considering getting one of these. We only seem to have literally 20 or so in the country (Australia) and they seem to have been imported from Japan with about 6000 km. Great review this.
Thanks for your review! I'm waiting for the tekna edition (in about 6 months). I have chosen to go for an ev for the environment and offvcourse for the cost aspect of it. I'm done with the noice maker and expensive diesel car!
I like this. I am not a van driver but looking for something in the future to carry my microlite and be able to sleep in the back at airfields on away trips, also for camping trips
Yeah sure if you're a child kidnapper just going to Tesla for the love of God if you want more storage get a Chevy Bolt or you can wait for rivian to come out with a truck
It needs a leaf e plus battery with active thermal management, particularly if it's going to be used as a delivery mobile because that means it's going to be hitting the rapid Chargers a lot more often that is healthy for a passively cooled battery.
Note, those features lifted from the Leaf are from the OLD Leaf that you're most familiar with, not the post-2018 models. Newer Leafs also have the buttons on the door handles. Bjorn said that it has battery air-cooling, but only while the air-con is on. Can you use the air-con button to enable the battery cooling using the remote button? Bjorn said you couldn't lock it while cooling, but that would appear to be inaccurate, given the key-fob remote start.
@6:25 .. I sat in the gas version and driver seat seemed too tight, some pilar was rubbing on my shoulder. I read the US might get a version with a 200 mile range 60kw battery.. that would be interesting. if so, I would have questions.. How long to rapid charge? Can you run AC overnight and at what battery consumption? Can you pull 12v and 110v while parked and off?

You have missed the problem with the cooling system, it only works when you are charging not when driving, the ignition has to be on when rapid charging so you cannot leave the van, . With AC charging you can turn it off and the cooling will work. Why it doesn’t have a simple thermostat control linked to the battery temp beats me and many other env owners seems Nissan madness taken to a new level.
All those measurements and you didn't say how long the floor is in the back. I'm considering a 40kWh version for a camper conversion by installing a rock 'n roll bench type seat. Basic conversion keeping it as a practical five seater for taking friends along but easily converted into a camper for our wanderings.

@captain pugwash Why would you want to cook using electricity whilst camping? That only happens in large campsites with electric hookup running microwave ovens in caravans and motorhomes. Can't figure out why people in those things don't just stay at home personally. A small one/two person basic campervan is ideal for exploring and doesn't need all the gadgets of home from home in my opinion. 100 mile range and a decent bed is all we would need.

I WISH this thing was available in the US... it would revolutionize vanilife. But it isn’t. America sucks when it comes to EVs & green infrastructure. We are so far behind Europe and everywhere else.
Very rude and misunderstood (even ignorant) intro.
Also that thing is ugly as shit seriously buy a Chevy Bolt or get a Tesla I'm pretty sure those are the two best ones at the moment even the Kona isn't all that great and we all know how bad VW is
