I have a 5 gallon tank. My betta recently passed away so i am redoing the tank before i get a new fish. But i think those tanks are garbage. I think people think because bettas are caight from puddles and ditches that they can live in small spaces. I would prefer my betta to thrive and flourish. Glad to see you back!
SO when I was 15 I had 7 pet betta fish, all in their own tank of course ..and they all were in small starter tanks. They all lived until they were 4 years old some 5 years old. But fast forward to just a few years ago, I bought a 5 gallon tank for my betta and he died within less than a year. And I watched all your videos on how to set up the tanks and stuff and I followed along to the best of my ability.. For age comparison I'm 40 now..
A big part of that is the breeding. The breeders that supplies stores like PetSmart and Petco have little-to-no care about maintaining good genes anymore.
I’ve noticed over the years where I buy my fish makes a big difference. I’ll have the same setups and notice certain stores they ALWAYS die around a year and other places I’ll have better luck with. A healthy betta will LOVE and use every bit of a large tank.
you could prob get a nano filter, and get a species of dwarf shrimp. I.e. cherry shrimp, blue jellies, ghost shrimp. (STILL HIGHLY NOT RECCOMENDED JUST GET A REAL TANK PEOPLE, 5 GALLONS OR MORE MINIUNM!!!!
That tank is horrible. My current rosetail jupiter is in a 8gal. And wouldnt want cloud minnow in a tank less than 15-20gal and right now my endlers and tetra are in 17gal Cant even get a heater or filter in that

@@crystalxmethodxwhich stores do you recommend
All that tank is good for is a couple of pet moss balls or maybe a cute mermaid ornament, or that Sponge Bob you got for the demo.
The tank size 💀
Fish 👎
Sea monkeys 👍
OMG YOUR BACKKKK! How are you?
Been eating good that's whut
That 0.75 tank would be good for colorful dwarf shrimps
or a snail

fairy shrimps or brine shrimp would be PERFECT in that setup. I wouldn't go bigger thouhg.
I can’t even find filters for those small tanks anymore
Omg that is prison for a fish.
Great video
Could the little tanks be used as hospital tanks?
I need to get some to make some aquatic plant bowls lol
Imo aslong as your not using less than a gallon any size is good for a hospital as its only temporary
We never got an update on the frogs from 2 years ago!
I agree with you. That tiny cube is not suitable for any fish. They shouldn't even be manufactured 😤
I mean not for fish, but maybe for fairy shrimp or super tiny snail species
I have neocaradina shrimp. Personally, 5 gallons is the smallest I would put them in. They need plants, a sponge filter and room to swim and breed.
Can u get a tank from petsmart 3 gallon
why is spongebob crying blood?
