1:48 my vote is the leopard shark first because you haven't had one yet and then go for the smooth hound, that way you can get less expensive things in between the purchases
Leopard shark is an awesome fish BUT realize it’s a Pacific Ocean shark and likes cooler temperatures. They have been over collected and are not as readily available, hence the price jumping from $300 in the 90s to $1500+ today. (During the summer you can see thousands schooling in La Jolla cove, San Diego.) Try to get a wobbegong shark if you can find one. It is a bottom dweller but that’s better for a tank.
So why did you get rid of the sharks and rays in the outdoor mini pond? To set up a community tank? To then immediately change it and go back to sharks and rays? Bad example your setting and it's very suspect how many fish disappear from your channel
Live Fish Mystery Box..What's Inside?... I don't know but what i do know is that in no time it will suddenly disappear from the channel & never be mentioned again = Dead..Unfortunately,, That's their trademark. 🐟💀
Many were saddened when they re-homed "Pots & Pans",, But I wasn't at all,, In fact I was glad,, Because I knew that they will get to live out their lives with good care..Had they stayed with them,, Like all their other fish,, They would both be dead by now.
They release them back into the ocean and other water ways the fish came from. I say they sell some too. My god they can't keep every fish they have on the channel. They'd have to have a big ass warehouse to keep them. They also have to change things every now and then to keep the channel fresh and exciting. Use your brain people.
BTW it’s an Annularis, or Blue Spot Angel, retails between $79.99 for a 3” juvi up to $600 for a full grown show size 1.5 ft. They can live 20 to 30 years. Barrier Reef had one that was 20+ years old. The fish you received would have been $120 - $150 at LFS here in So. Fla. The Golden Trevally can be found between $40 - $150 depending on size and how much the LFS is marking up. Meaning whomever you bought the $500 mystery box from is laughing all the way to the bank, especially since I am listing retail prices which include mark ups.
Right now (5 months later), unless the fish guys have super tiny or huge hands, that size of Annularis is going for right around $400 at my local shops. It’s a shame that, for so many hobbyists, keeping a tank setup that’s big enough to accommodate them is not an option due to space and monetary limitations
That Annularis Angel is more beautiful than words can describe. If this was a $500 mystery box that one fish almost recouped what was spent… right now it’s selling really close to the $350-$400 mark. The Red Knob Star is around $30-$40, and the goldies are around $50 each. It comes out as a $10 loss by today’s market price but we all know fish prices are fairly fluid going up and down on a regular basis
Definitely got to go with the "get both sharks" option! They will be great additions to the pond! Please name one Bruce, out of finding Nemo and one called Lenny out of Shark tale
I bought a stand up sit down desk and took the legs and bolted them to the wall behind my 300 gallon tank and added light bars with my 7 radian xr30 pros and now I can set them as close or far from the top of my reef tank.
Sup Chris and Jack!😎😎 Okay. I vote smooth hound shark. From what i understand, they have quite the personality. They are super colorful too and mostly pretty chill. Looove smooth hound sharks!❤❤❤
That shark is a nocturnal. So if you feed it when its night time, its going to be alot different. I had one in the past and it would hide under the rocks during the day and swim around like crazy at night. Also its eyes are more open at night. Its pretty cool.
Love you guys! I'd love to see some past video ideas still happen though! For example: updates on Earl/feeding him, dark web mystery unboxings, the vending machine, lives, fishing in the deep ocean, etc. And please just keep us viewers up to date on fish deaths and things of that nature. We want to be in the loop of everything!
Loved y’all’s last fishing shirt. I got it and the hand written thank you for supporting was really awesome. The fish guy long sleeve fishing shirt was awesome.
Hey Fish Guy Jack!…..Do you know you can actually “sharpen” knives after you have used them? Hahaha great video as always! Are you ever gonna do a fish guys at the Amazon or some other awesome location?
Thats not what the tank is based off of they caught a good amount from a rocky sandy area so he tries to recreate it they are also getting another tank for that
LEOPARD SHARK!!! They have them at the Minnesota Zoo in Discovery Bay where you can touch them as they swim past. I've always wanted my own. You guys would be living my dream 😭
I say you should get both the smooth hound and the leopard sharks but before you get either do some research and find out if they can all be housed together
BOTH SHARKS i have a smooth hound shark in my reef tank and its ative and its good for reef and its good for predator TRUST ME YOU WILL LOVE A SMOOTH HOUND SHARK and leopard
Smooth-hound or Leopard Shark??? Let us know in the comments! ⬇

bonned head shark (LOOKS LIKE A MINI HAMMERHEAD!)
1:48 my vote is the leopard shark first because you haven't had one yet and then go for the smooth hound, that way you can get less expensive things in between the purchases
Yeah but they should do my idea to save
Do they mean a leopard shake for this tank? Because that’s animal cruelty it is NOT enough space for a shark that can reach 6-7 feet long

They died.

They should name ALL their fish "Houdini" because as we all know,, Sooner or later they will just suddenly disappear.
They release them back into the ocean and other water ways the fish came from. I say they sell some too. My god they can't keep every fish they have on the channel. Pretty sure that’s a Blue Ring Angelfish. I’ve seen large ones range from $300 - $600. Name it Indigo.

FISH GUYS ON TOP!!!
This was probably the best mystery box ive seen you guys get
Anybody else seeing large lesions on the Sailfin tang? Why are you adding new stuff to a tank with sick fish?
Yeah you see the ragged fins on the sailfin as well? He’s rotting away
@@joshcooper9554 That expensive angelfish will probably be dead in days, just like the other ones. These guys really are the worst.
That Sailfin has looked like that for months, these guys don’t gaf about the fish. They just care about the views and the $$$
Love your style, keep rocking it!
Leopard, shark, leopard, shark leopard shark 2:24

I am trying to set up a tiny pond myself, so in your opinion what essentials do I need to keep the pond thriving and a good environment for my fish
I say both. However, those are two great options but I like the leopard a bit more due to the pattern and size.
13:04 what’s clapping 😳 it’s sure not your hands 😂😂
9/10 unboxing in this video boys! This was an awesome one that’s fs 💯
You should add a kelp forest to both tanks that way it looks more natural
2:12 I’m with Chris you should get both that would be insane!
I grew up snorkeling/swimming with leopard sharks so I would love to see you guys add one to the pond!
Sup Chris and Jack!😎😎

Hey boys you guys should add like a really big coral and start maybe a colony
Both if not leopard shark and this mystery box is 20 out of 20

Angelfish should be Bolt ... because of the lighting bolts on it!❤
Name the blue fish rory
Redfish hat is a must need!!
I think this is one of the best mistery boxes ever
Name the blue angel "Cookie Monster" I vote both sharks...😊
Leopard shark!! Granted both but mainly the leopard!
Make a video going out catch black tips or bonethead sharks for the pond it would be a banger
10 for the box. Fish colour changes as they stressed moving. Once they settle true colour's will come in
So you asked in a previous video what kind of fish to add I suggest a tarpin and stanley for the hats
My first vote is for a leopard shark but I’d like to see both😂
leopard shark and i would give the box a 9 out of 10
Name the royal blue striped angel, SHAZAAM!!! ❤
Both
Definitely the leopard shark that looks sick as ...!!
Leopard shark team

15:15 Emperor
Name the trevally fish Jack and Chris since they're Bros. Then, y'all can have fish named after you since you ARE the Fish Guys😊
Both but the Leopard shark looks really cool.
