I really like how you talked about priorities in scenarios. Side schemes help you build but they don’t speed up your ability to deal with on board threats. Build support and the upgrade one really help heroes who NEED signature cards the most. AntMan helmet, Hawkeye quiver, quicksilver friction resistance, etc
Exactly! Yea I am really appreciating the balance in tempo with them! I want to run a game where all those heroes are at the table and clears specialized training turn one for all the epic upgrades!
These side schemes have me wanting to play Justice Iron Man again. Its rare that I feel like going through the process of triggering Arial due to the situational benefits, but having more targets for the helmet to mass strip threat from seems ideal.
It’s been 2 months since this video came out. Nelson, Villain, how has your opinion on Player Side Schemes changed? Do you feel there are some that get put into your decks fairly regularly? Any that you feel are (almost) always worth making room for? Revisiting this topic interests me; I am still working on catching my collection up to where the game is now
Yep! They are all in the most recent rules reference (which is currently 1.5) The most updated one can be found on the FFG website: images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/filer_public/b6/30/b630ddfe-e745-435b-a284-572dd510e15d/mc_rulesreference_v15-compressed.pdf
So tempting to use the shiny new toys in every deck. Thanks for the logical look at the more practical side.
You guys rock, and you rock even more when you're together.
Thank you!!
Awesome guide! Watched and saved! Thank you both!
Oh thank you! Glad it was beneficial!

Ohhh yea he’s so much fun with them! He loves Super power training to help get his armor out more quickly!
