Royal Kludge is a pretty decent mechanical keyboard maker. Last year I bought the RK68+ for $45 and it comes with 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth, aluminum casing, addressable RGB and hot swappable brown switches. The only thing I hate about the keyboard is when playing Bethesda / CDPR games I have to function escape to bring up the console with the tilde key. Other than that it's pretty damned amazing keyboard for $45.
yeah am surprised even denki don't know about it i have RK84 for 84$ dude its so good and the only thing that bad is the software which i never cared about it lol
seem good, but I cant find it with italian keys. if they keys are changeable I may swing it a little using the one from my old mars gaming keyb and changin the language profile in windows. any idea if the keys can be changed?
The storage expansion module adaptor thing for the xbox actually can work. They require one specific model of M.2 and they have to be formatted in a specific way.
Austin had the Wish pick? As soon as I heard that I was like “yeah Austin lost” Also Royal Kludge makes some pretty good keyboards. They do sell on Amazon but I assume Aliexpress would be cheaper
Listening to them talk about the Royal Kludge is like listening to Corvette owners test driving a Bugatti Chiron and saying "I never heard of Bugatti, but this Chiron, It's a pretty good sports car !".
I love my RK84. Got it for when I was bedridden and didn't have a laptop so I was using my Quest 2 for productivity. Now I'm back on my feet again (and have a laptop) and it's great as a daily driver on my desktop. Beautifully tactile, quality keycaps, triple Bluetooth, pairs flawlessly. Only thing is the software funtionality SUCKS so bad. You can't create multi-key macros essentially making the macro functionality completely pointless. You can't even adjust settings wirelessly, you have to be plugged in via USB-C.
AliExpress sellers are often first or second level seller, that's how they can sell so cheap. I won't be surprised if Wish actually gets some of its items from AliExpress behind the scene. Your $30 wireless mouse, for instance, I bought it for around $5.
Xbox actually just updated its tos and software to not work with 3rd party ssds. A lot of people thought they did it to stop strike packs but nope. They just wanted their money.
Royal Kludge is an amazing keyboard maker and it is very much customisable if you are into custom build. I'm rocking my RK68 with Kailh switches which is far better than the over-hype mx switches. And you also can pick a wide variety of keycaps out there. Redragon also produces a very good mechanical keyboard and mice. If you live in Asia, there will probably be lots of niche quality gaming peripherals that are wayyyy better than logi, razer, corsair etc without even breaking the bank. And that in-ear earphone, I'm telling you, you may laugh when you see it. If you gaming in a hot climate, using a headphone is not really an option, in-ear earphones with a mic jack are one of the best inventions. It is lightweight, it's comfortable and it gets things done, heck it's mic even sounds decent!
I'm ashamed to say Austin has reviewed the DSI, XL etc. but has never built the ULTIMATE DSI in the roughly 13 years it's been out, he has done this for the PS4 and Xbox One, I'm surprised not the DSI.
Honestly, Fifine isn't a bad brand at all. I've been using their K669 microphone for quite a while now, and I haven't encountered any problems whatsoever. I've even received numerous compliments from people who think the microphone sounds fantastic, especially when I mention that I only paid 25 euros for it. I'm considering upgrading to one of their higher-end models in the future, but for now, the K669 continues to meet all my needs. It's easily one of the best and most budget-friendly purchases I've made for my setup.
Hey Austin, I’ve been watching you since 2012 - you’ve been someone I’ve looked up to since then; you inspired my interest in tech, and subsequently inspired me to start my own business inside the tech realm. I just wanted you to know, however cringe it comes across, that you’ve been a great role model, and content creator. Everything you’ve achieved inspires me to do the same. Keep being you! P.S. I don’t know if you’ll remember, but I was the one who made that god awful “Work It - Missy Elliot” Austin Evan’s parody you responded to all those years ago 😂
I love my RK pro keyboard. CNC aluminum case and removable switches for like 70 bucks, it's a great deal. Had it for 2 years so far with no issues, and a family member has bought one on my recommendation and likes it!
I will say, that pink head set looks almost identical to the red dragon headset I got on at the moment, exact same metal frame, mic setup, cups, foam/pleather (with red dragon embossed instead ofc)
Same for me but replace “red dragon” with “hyperX cloud 1 or 2” and I’m in the exact same boat. Down to the “7.1 sound card,” almost identical besides the colors and embossing lol
I always go into these types of videos rooting for Austin, but Ken always does such a better job (and/or Austin does such a bad job) that I can't dispute Ken is the winner.
royal kludge is actually pretty good keyboards honestly. Have the RK98 at this time with brown switches. LOVE IT came from the LG g413 carbon keyboard. (had that for 4 years, although with 10 or more keys resoldered mind you.) never the less, RK keyboards are fuckin great! and (customer service) is quite well. if somethings broken, needs a firmware update etc, they do everything they can to ensure your good to go. or you get another. (also, my rk98 came full charged on nov 12? something like that) and I have YET to charge it other than for the few minutes i used the "included usb (with c) adapter to type c cable) to check their software out which is fucking by far on par with razors customization for their "top tier" RGB keyboards that are addressable. every key can be whatever color you want, or make your own zones and shit. dont count out RK boys. theyre for sure on the come up! OH and i DONT NEED THE MFN DONGLE it just works great on btooth 5.0!
I’ve ordered many items from AliExpress and so far all of them are as per advertised 👍🏼. I can’t comment on Wish because they don’t ship to my country.
Fifine is also a decent mic brand, ive seen other videos reviewing their mics. Royal Kludge is also a decent keyboard brand, im amazed that they havent heard of the brands, but ive been seeing ads and videos from other people reviewing these brands.
Рік тому+1
You knew full well that Wish After Dark wasn't gaming gear! Haha
Royal Kludge is actually really legit, they make great budget keyboard. In fact, the keyboard I'm typing this right now is a RK84 Limited Edition, which has nice PBT keycaps and lubed Gateron Yellow switches for like $75, it also has wireless (Bluetooth and 2.4GHz), RGB and USB passthrough, I really like it. Oh yeah, Wish bad, of course, that's a surprise to no one. That SSD adapter for the Xbox works if you can get the EXACT model of SSD used by Microsoft, and I do mean EXACT, even a newer revision won't work.
red dragon from what i remember is a legit computer accessory company. and given, i feel like some of the stuff from aliexpress are legit despite coming from there. given, i typically hear that some of the stuff from aliexpress are straight from the factories that manufacture the stuff for said companies. wish though? yeah, lol. alot of the stuff that comes from there gaming wise is unreliable and will probably break a month or less with constant use.
The SSD adapter module works, but i think its only compatible with the Western Digital SN530 1tb SSD, i have one and i haven't had any problems with it, and you can run optimized games from it.
14:30 This uses the same OEM as the Royal Lkudge keyoard earlier in the video. I have a RK keyboard that has the exact same build and design with the same side lighting.
Royal Kludge keyboards are really good. I have 2 now the RK61 and RK987. Cheap and reliable. I've bought other Chinese mechanical keyboard and it doesn't even last 3 months before starting to have double typing.
I have turtle beach earbuds like those 3$ ones that have a mic just like that, I’ve used them for years, honestly never use the mic but I love them lol
It's not even a competition. Aliexpress is the better choice. You have more options, often many that are legit name brands, and since they implemented buyer protection, if you do get scammed, you can just get your money refunded (heard it's not that big of a pain in the ass either)
After maybe 30 purchases, I finally had to use buyer protection after a seller sent the wrong thing then ghosted me. AliEx refunded me in a few hours. Combined with the review system, it's better than eBay, lol.

Crazy that they never even heard of it. I guess you don’t need to buy budget keybs if you can easily afford higher end keybs.
Right? I loved my customized RK84 so much for gaming that I bought the RK98 and customized it for my workstation at the office.
yeah am surprised even denki don't know about it
i have RK84 for 84$ dude its so good and the only thing that bad is the software which i never cared about it lol

@@ignoto82dr You should be able to use some 3rd party key mapping software then swap out the key caps to a set that you like
Austin looking at the adult section and asking if it is about gaming is just the classic traumatized child gag
“Sorry Children”
Sorry neice and nephews
fr
still waiting to see what he ordered from there and where he is posting the video
*the hub theme plays*
The storage expansion module adaptor thing for the xbox actually can work. They require one specific model of M.2 and they have to be formatted in a specific way.
Ooooh I’ve been needing larger internal expansion. I’ll have to check that out.
Yeah you need to use the same m2 seagate sdd model of the original module.
Oh the adapter works, but they never delivered the SSD.
It only works with the western digital ch sn530 1TB
Can I get a guide on this?
Hands down AliExpress won this thing. The RK keyboard and Fifine headset alone really takes the cake.
Austin had the Wish pick? As soon as I heard that I was like “yeah Austin lost”
Also Royal Kludge makes some pretty good keyboards. They do sell on Amazon but I assume Aliexpress would be cheaper
its amazing that the team hasn't heard of Royal Kludge keyboards... ive been seeing the brand everywhere.

Need to do a part 2, where they swap which storefront they use. Ken might find better things/vice versa for Austin.
0:17 “Sorry Children” 🤣
Ken is a legend when it comes to making budget setups!
"Wish After Dark" is gaming ... of a different type. 🤣🤣
Xbox actually just updated its tos and software to not work with 3rd party ssds. A lot of people thought they did it to stop strike packs but nope. They just wanted their money.
AliExpress is better than Wish. Saved you the trouble.
Vid is entertaining tho. So ima watch
that's what I thought but I'm still watching the video
Still gonna watch the video and it’s pretty obvious which is better
No I clicked on the video to watch Austin idc about the video idea
Their is no trouble
Never used Wish and never will.
NOW THIS EPISODE IS GOLD ! Kepp em up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably made in the same factory
Austin is single handedly (with the help of AMEX) keeping most of these companies in business 😂😂
I saw "Bootleg," and I immediately thought they would be testing a table full of famiclones or something.
This is neat!
austin is just one of the best youtubers
Dear Austin,
At no point in time in history has anything labeled ‘Adult’ meant gaming, unless you were a gladiator in rome
Thank you Austin for keeping me entertained im a long time viewer ❤
Hey Austin I just bought a R36S handheld from AliExpress for £50. Plays all the usual consoles plus DS, PSP, N64 and Dreamcast 🤟🏻🤟🏻
That was one fun video, Ken sure found some good stuff. That little screen is cool.
Austin videos always cure my boredom
AliExpress all day, 1 month shipping better prices and AliExpress choice
The Uranus puns were golden 😂😂😂
We need a counter for everytime austin says "WHATNOT"
Redragon and Royal Kludge make pretty decent gaming accessories. budget yes but not crappy at all.
Watching this video on my pc, with my royale kludge keyboard, one of the better ones ive ever had
I have a royal kludge 68 and I love it. I put Gateron oil king switches on it and they just made it better
Ken buying thing Austin would actually like?? What Twilight Zone rabbit hole portal to another dimension did I fall into just now?? 😂

We can all agree that Ken is adorably cute right? Cause he is.
You would think Austin would know what's in those "After Dark" , "Adult" sections by now 😅
Time to check what wish after dark is 😂

I know some people don’t like these videos but that’s what got me into watching this channel! Love it
I recognized the wish after dark banner instantly. I’m not proud of how I instantly recognized it.
You guys have never heard of royal kludge? Been using their keyboards for a few years now. The best budget keyboards I've ever used
RK keyboard are actually good! Swappable keys in some models, with all kind of switches!
I’m so early that even wish has already taken down half the listings
I’ve just realized Austin's favorite word is “what-not”
12:16. Austin, I recommend Nanowar of Steel - Uranus (collab. with Michael Starr from Steel Panther).
Royal Kludge keyboards are actually amazing for a prebuild

AE is definitely WAY better than wish. They include VAT and save you a ton of trouble. And you get better quality items there either.
Most definitely it is. I buy selected stuff from ali all the time.
That Fifine headset is literally a 1 to 1 copy of the HyperX Cloud's, even down to the wired inline controller and 7.1.
IT IS THE SAME STUFF !!!!!
They both shop from same grossseller
Alibaba and its other compnay it own
Even without buttering up Austin, Ken and AliExpress would have won
those xbox ssd adapters do work you have to format the drive in a very particular way first it was the same with replacing the hdd in the xbox one
Ken with the Yuki hat. Looking good.
temu vs aliexpress vs wish vs alibaba
As someone who has used Royal Kludge keyboards a lot in my life. They are very good keyboards for the price
I can def vouch for Royal Kludge, I had one of their keyboards before and am considering getting another
Austin seemed interested in the after dark 💀😂
The SSD adapter module works, but i think its only compatible with the Western Digital SN530 1tb SSD, i have one and i haven't had any problems with it, and you can run optimized games from it.

Yes Joey, you are building the ultimate Xbox series S. Lol
What we really need is a video with Dankpods to find out which one is the true Nugget King.
The best UA-camr ever
That Fifine Headset suspiciously looked like OEM HyperX Cloud 2.
Not the code blue cam music 😂
Royal Kludge keyboards are really good. I have 2 now the RK61 and RK987. Cheap and reliable. I've bought other Chinese mechanical keyboard and it doesn't even last 3 months before starting to have double typing.
Don’t worry Austin Wish after dark can’t hurt you
I have turtle beach earbuds like those 3$ ones that have a mic just like that, I’ve used them for years, honestly never use the mic but I love them lol
Results were as expected
Aliexpress vs Amazon would be a fairer fight
You have to clone the partitions from the ssd of an original xbox expansion module onto the new ssd and it will work.
I got my mouse, keyboard parts, cpu, ram and plenty more on ali, saved hundreds of euros and all of it is top notch stuff

My man's never seen a Royal Kludge keyboard?? WTF
I daily drive a Royal Kludge RK84 keyboard and I love it
these videos usually guarantee to have a mouse or a keyboard or some keycaps everytime i swear lol
Oh I had that DDR pad on my PS1 when I was a kid. 😅
that pink headset is literally a hyper x cloud knockoff
Background song at the Xbox SSD adapter section at 14 minutes is Tokyo Dreaming by Particle House
i bought those ear buds, they're disposable, not even able to clean them, but in theory they were awesome
This actually a great video idea
Depends on your definition of gaming!
