We all have to bend over for The Man most of the time. We may just pick and choose to stand up for ourselves sometimes. I work at a Crumbl, and I usually bring attention to the fact that there’s a tip option. I’ll even mention a bonus “There’s just two/three of us here right now.” if that’s the case. I totally make hella tips that way. For other Point of Sale workers, pointing out that tips get pooled is a guarantee that people are more likely to leave a tip. They don’t want to pay you; they want to pay the people making their food. They just have to also pay you.
I dislike coffee and usually choice of drink for me is ginger ale or any soda, also love that question. Also my local Starbucks has that "quirky" question thing too.

so I JUST stopped working at a starbucks, and I wanted to list some of my favorite details from this -The specification of google pay throwing the cashier completely out of their customer service routine -assuming any language that isn't English is Spanish -The complete breakdown of communication between the second man and the cashier that resulted in an order he probably didn't want and they were both too awkward to fix -Ordering something double cupped with no sleeve in the middle of your order even though that's definitely not something we can write on the tablet -Staring at someone dead in the eyes and saying "You mean the cold foam?" -Casually fixing Breeve to Breve -The final result costing 14.39 and neither of them batting an eye at it (it's bad, it's so bad, please be offended by how much the coffee costs it is your RIGHT) -Gross Latte and 99 shot espresso on the board -Cranberry Pain bar instead of Cranberry Bliss Bar (accurate) -The green poster of the man and the cup with none of the other words meaning anything (every poster in the back is some variation of this) This was Awesome btw, subscribed
