It's not that he denied you access, it's HOW it went about doing it. He could have been nicer, saying he was sorry that he wouldn't be able to accommodate you for whatever reason (maybe just had the gravel redone and it hadn't settled, who knows).
I have stayed at that campground when I go to America's Mailbox. I have always had very positive experiences. He and his wife have always been kind to me. I am so sorry that your experience was so different. Thank you for coming back on after taking time to think about your encounter. He told me he started his RV park because he was so disgusted with the prices other parks in the area were charging. He wanted to make a safe quiet place the weary traveler could stay.

He could have been less abrasive but the way y'all handled it was great. Happy Travels to you, great to see you being the light and wishing blessings on the guy.
Obviously golf cart guy wasn't even remotely interested in talking with you. He got out of his cart to tell you to leave and he was already getting back in his cart as you replied to him. He didn't even listen to you. He wanted no conversation as he didn't think he needed to hear anything you had to say. This one blessed my sox off guys. For almost five years of my life I drove cross country, and this video (Cabela's, Little Big Horn Battle site) was some of the places I've been. Beautiful country, but definitely has changed since I drove through in the early 2000's. It was sad about the man at the RV Park, ; letting your light shine was good advice. Who knows what that man has been going through of late. Bad stuff can make a nice person end up with a real bad attitude. Too bad he didn't give you a chance to talk to him and let the love of the Lord bless him. Oh well, maybe another time. Safe travels guys, have a blessed week.
I worked in a campground my sister owned and all the underground utilities usually run under the road. I myself have had to replace 6" water lines and repaired and replaced sewer lines due to heavy vehicles and speeding in the campground. This is his reasoning why he didn't want the truck going in the campground. Campgrounds are not usually good income makers and for a man who's invested his retirement in such a place is probably operating in the red. The place didn't even look like a quarter of capacity and electric bills are EXTREMELY high and water and cable and internet as well.
I'm from that area in South Dakota and I have to say, I'm not surprised by how rude the guy was to you. Sadly, I don't think the guy was just "having a bad day." That attitude seems to be how a lot of people are on that side of the state. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. Love your channel! Safe travels 😊
Stayed at the same Cabela’s 3 weeks ago, nice of them to help us out. And I even used that 24 hr express for the dump station, self paid and never saw anybody or a golf cart.

Hi guys , like the end wrap up. Great that you took the high road and gave the guy a decent review. More people should be like your selfs. Safe travels.
We have a 1967 24ft silver streak, we stopped at a Walmart to shop and hardly got the truck shut off and security was at my window asking why we were there, they didn't want overnighter. We needed to shop, not to stay.
I applaud you for your great attitude about being denied into the park, I wouldn't have been able to do it myself. On the flip side I guess I can see why his lot was empty. As always I enjoy your posts and your Christian attitude, keep it up , love you two ❤
I just stumbled on this video and the grace you two showed toward that disgruntled man was truly a testimony! Some have entertained angels unaware.... keep doing the next right thing and God bless!
So sad that he was that way, I can guarantee you folks would be welcomed at the New Frontier Campground/RV Park in Presho, SD. They have a dedicated place for rigs like yours.
Just watched this older vid, what a great guy at campground wow. You should have gave us the secret hook when you went by, we are just before Sturgis along interstate, we have 53 ft freight trailers here all the time. You shock it off real well !
How odd. I stayed in that park years ago with my Big rig. Even made a video about it. The owners have a military museum and were very nice at the time. Maybe it changed ownership...
I just love your attitude when you dealt with that guy at the campground. Well done. I love watching your videos. Hopefully one day I can travel from New Zealand to the US to visit some of the places you have shown.
Wow! And, there looked like plenty of space. I could understand if there were small sites and a lot of trees and shrubs or something. But, it was wide open. He didn't even explain.
We're thinking he must have had some water pipes shallow under the gravel - or something like that. It's okay...it's just a bump in the road and we move on. Thanks for coming along Angel.
Hi Jim and Kelly! Love the video. I think that campground guy should change the sign no big rigs. That’s just weird. But glad you found somewhere to go for now and met up with some people. I made some Baked Ziti last weekend and my family loved it. That sauce is really good. Thank you Kelly for that recipe. Hope all is fine where you are at. Hope you have a great week. I forgive you Kelly for being upset. We are all human. Love you both have a great week and see you soon!

I wish I could travel the way you guys do the different places and different states go all over the place think that would be nice and RV or a fifth wheel
It all starts with an idea Rodney! We have some friends that say "start small and start now". We hope you get a chance to get out and make some great memories!
I boondocked on my WA to AZ trip last year, F250 & 30' TH. Stayed at Blacks Creek rest area east of Boise and Costco in St George, the rest of the time was in the desert on public lands or at my brother's. The Costco stay we unplanned but it was getting late and I needed fuel anyway. Fueled up, parked in a far corner and went inside to grab a few items and settled in for the night. Was gone first thing in the AM well before they opened. Tried to be as inconspicuous as possible and no one bothered me.
That's the way to do it Dan! If we could all follow your example things would be better for all of us. Thanks for coming along and have a great weekend!
As a former security specialist I’m curious if that place had some sort of company regulation against either the length, configuration or weight of your Rig. I’ve seen it happen. Although that guy should have explained why you weren’t allowed in a calm manner. He was completely unprofessional.
In California, Walmart is no longer a go to. In So.Cali there is 2 places and that's Bass Pro or Cracker Barrel and in all of CA there is only 1 of each. There are RV parks but they range around $40 to $80 and only a couple $20 & $36
Well, bless your hearts. I would have needed some cooling off time, too. Really wonder what was going on there. Thanks for sharing your change of heart. I’m still learning the whole forgiveness thing. ❤️
Wow. That guy was piece of work. Walmart rocks. Just subscribed to your channel. Love the content. Love the rig. My wife and I are OTR long haul truckers. Be safe guys.
My husband and I cannot wait to reach our goal of full time rv living! Ps that guy was a major jerk and major props to you guys for handling it so well!
Had that happen 1 time to us with our HDT, 63 feet overall length, in Idaho just outside Yellowstone. When I was talking with the owner he had a bad experience with a previous HDT that couldn’t make the turns inside the park and broke water and sewer lines by driving off the roads onto the grass. After talking with him and assuring him of my abilities, have a CDL and have been doing this for a number of years, he allowed us in. Had no issues maneuvering inside park and had a great stay. Prior problems and experiences with HDT, or others, can make for bad future experiences for others.
We agree Jim....and that may have been the reason, but we didn't get an explanation. We can understand that there may be some issues with the grounds and we totally respect that.
We drove a 32 foot rv across country and called rv parks where we hoped to stay. Sometimes we did a cold stop and were occasionally denied access. None of the authority figures were ever rude. They would frequently suggest other locations where we could stay. It would have been logical and courteous to post the size restriction at the beginning of the drive.
Wow! What a crazy guy. I’ll put that one down as a must avoid campground. I’ll stay overnight in the coffee cup truck stop in that area instead. Don’t stay in the Rapid City KOA, you will not fit in any site. They put us in a very difficult site where we had to unhook the Jeep and back out. It is not big rig friendly either.
Just a mix of hashbrowns, eggs and chopped ham JMack. Kellie cooks up a large batch and makes them up to throw in the freezer for travels days. We aren't commercial, so no CDL required. It all depends on your home state of licensing. Some states will require special endorsements like air brakes, over 26k, etc. Thanks for coming along!

Thanks for showing that life isn't all sunshine and roses and that we have to be honest but also be able to move on past these little dips. Safe travels you guys! (PS...happy to find your channel! )
Sorry for your bad experience . Thank you for your video . Have a wonderful day ..!!
Hi guys
, like the end wrap up. Great that you took the high road and gave the guy a decent review. More people should be like your selfs. Safe travels.
Thanks Rob....it's just a bump in the road and we move on. We have to be flexible with this lifestyle.
As always I enjoy your posts and your Christian attitude, keep it up , love you two ❤
Thanks Andrew....just a bump in the road. Have a great weekend.
Yeah empty lot. Could it be the rude guy. Up yours rude guy.
It's a beautiful country Rawiri and we hope you have the chance to visit at some point. Thanks for coming along and stay safe.
You guys are the real deal.Bless your hearts I'm not sure how calm I would be
Awe thanks William! We appreciate you coming along.
Thanks so much Sherri! It's just a bump in the road and we move on. You're right....on the plus side we met some new friends! Glad your family liked the Ziti...we appreciate you so much! Have a great weekend.
I wish I could travel the way you guys do the different places and different states go all over the place think that would be nice and RV or a fifth wheel
It all starts with an idea Rodney! We have some friends that say "start small and start now". We hope you get a chance to get out and make some great memories!
You are good people because, it would had been hard for me not to give him a word or two, that he might not like. Love your attitudes, safe travels.
Just a bump in the road Juanita....we move on! Thanks for coming along.
You handled it WAY better than I would have.
That is how you do it
As a former security specialist I’m curious if that place had some sort of company regulation against either the length, configuration or weight of your Rig. I’ve seen it happen. Although that guy should have explained why you weren’t allowed in a calm manner. He was completely unprofessional.
I doubt that size had anything to do with it. It was a truck stop.
In California, Walmart is no longer a go to. In So.Cali there is 2 places and that's Bass Pro or Cracker Barrel and in all of CA there is only 1 of each. There are RV parks but they range around $40 to $80 and only a couple $20 & $36
LOl....that's one of the reasons we try and avoid California Candy! We love the beauty and people...but so expensive! Have a great week.
Well, bless your hearts. I would have needed some cooling off time, too. Really wonder what was going on there. Thanks for sharing your change of heart. I’m still learning the whole forgiveness thing. ❤️
Life is full of learning Jeannine....and we're still working on it! Hope you guys are doing well.
I've actually seen that RV park. We got fuel right outside of it. It was empty... can't imagine why...
Now, we know why---lol
I was going to do this with my Pete 377. Decided to buy a Prevost instead.
Common courtesy costs nothing! Glad you found a space...although same issues in Australia.
It's not much fun Ian...but just a bump in the road! Thanks for coming along.
Wow. That guy was piece of work. Walmart rocks. Just subscribed to your channel. Love the content. Love the rig. My wife and I are OTR long haul truckers. Be safe guys.
You guys were treated poorly. He could have explained it to you. You both are amazing 🤩
Seeing the big new toy hauler and having to ride with stuff in the sink seems really odd. No cupboard for the water thingy?
Why ? It has water in it…. How’s that work if spilled in a wood cabinet ? Lmao ! Sink is the best place for it !
We travel with water in the Berkey, so we feel better with it in the sink Brian.
My husband and I cannot wait to reach our goal of full time rv living!
Ps that guy was a major jerk and major props to you guys for handling it so well!
Thanks Sarah. We hope you create some awesome memories!
Youy guys are all right. Most people wouldn't take it that well.
God bless you two. I love the end of the and your not trashing his business, I don't know if I would have handled it that way.
Thanks Timothy....we all need to spread some light in this world full of darkness. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks for sharing and we subscribed! Happy travels❤Zack & Linda
Thanks guys...and welcome!
Bless the owner🙏🙏🙏 of that BIG RV park, and Bless ,🙏🙏🙏you both
Meet you at Araby in Yuma. Enjoyed the tour of your coach!!
I started watching the video of the rv tour and ended up watching almost all of their videos 😍they are fantastic, God bless you.
Awe....thanks Yadira! We appreciate you coming along.
His loss. Great vid and attitude folks.
I love the positivity. I would not have been so nice…LOL
What kind of breakfast burritos you making, you have a video on that?, and to be able to drive a rig like you have, does it require a cdl license.
You were so calm. My husband would of lost it! Thanks for being nice 😀
I have definitely seen you guys in multiple states
You'll have to wave next time!
