I remember doing the drive from Montana to Yuma. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. We also stopped at the reservoir. I remember taking lots of pictures there.
J & K, absolutely great video! For some reason your travel day videos are some of the most relaxing videos to watch. Excited for both of you as you begin your winter journey and thanks for taking us along. I feel like the nosey neighbor watching what you're doing each week. I must say that I'm also excited for next Spring when you get back to your property so that we can watch the transformation to start there. Blessings on your journey and praying that God uses you as a light to everyone you meet along the way.
LOVE seeing the world through your lens. I am so happy ya'll are part of the Jeep family...great people drive Jeeps...ya'll gotta be great people. NOW.. I am sure it's been asked..but exactly how long are ya know??? I guess 90'
Safe travels! Gorgeous scenery! Love seeing how you work as a team to get everything done. Looking forward to seeing your travels and adventures through the winter. Stay safe, and God bless❤
We love stopping at Clark Canyon Reservoir on our way between Utah and our sister & brother in law’s near Missoula, MT! It’s so beautiful when the sun rises over the water! I’ve really got to get over to Lion Energy. They are only 10 mins from our home base!! And we don’t have a lithium solution for our RV yet.
Glad everything went well towing the jeep, nice to see how well they can pull behind you. FYI not sure if it is different but the safari unit the gentleman showed is listed as a 5 year warranty not lifetime. Hope you guys stay safe and healthy.
Oh my, that is now a huge rig! I take my hat of to you sir, I would not have the confidence to drive that. Look forward to see more of your adventures - always cheers me up to see you both exploring together. Take care and enjoy your journey.
You definitely need a check list for getting on the road! There is a lot of moving parts on this set up. You look to be ready for anything though!! It is SO much fun traveling with friends. Good to know about the new products from Lion. - Jim & Michelle
Y'alls rig is becoming a choo-choo train!❤ I have been looking for a solar generator and you have me sold on the Lion Energy Safari 3000 for my Jeep camper!
I suppose your setup qualifies as a Turduken but it's the nicest, clean looking one I've seen. (RVs Gone Wild has some crazy tows on there:) Enjoy Moab.
Thanks...we love having you along! The bumper we have is the Barricade Gladiator Trail Force HD bumper with LED lights from Extreme Terrain. So far we're really happy with it!
Nice you are traveling with friends. I saw the vehicle thru have behind you but I didn’t see their Rv until later. I didn’t know they drive separately. Nice you have the new car with you. Beautiful scenery as always and loved it when you were at the lake. Nice new products from Lions. Or Lyons. Kellie where is my bacon? lol! 😂😂 I hope you have a great week and weekend. Live you both! 🤗🥰
Was looking for help with how to get your class 8 tractor switched over to a RV. Looking to buy in Kentucky and they no longer allow you to switch over.
Best of luck you 2 I'll be thinking of yall !!!!! Oh also it looked like your rv ladder wasn't secured in the locked and upright position but.... I could be wrong
Nice seeing Mt. My question? How do the RVers get to pull doubles without endorsement on their driver lic.? I hold a Comercial lic. I have to have doubles and triple on my lic.? I am retired now. But when I was driving, all of us drivers wanted to know.
@SuiteTravels yes I understand. But you're still pulling doubles. So it takes skills. We also have to have dot physical. Which really is a bunch of crap. I was just interested in how this can be.
Boy that rig is long when going down the road!! I remember when I lived in the Idaho / Utah / Wyoming area that the legal limit for towing without a special permit was 75 feet. I haven't heard you say how long you are now, but how do you get around that law?
It's a shame the truck does not fit in the garage and the side by side can go where little red went. I suppose on short trips Kellie could always drive that would help on the hook up process. Safe travels!
@@SuiteTravels We checked into Shyrock and were told that hardly any could stay all year. That was kind of a deal breaker for what we might be looking for. If you own the lot as they say, I don't get how they can restrict the times you can be on it. The people were very nice though and even let us stay a night in one of the guest units. You were there too but we didn't see you outside and we didn't feel right to go knock on your door.
Whaaaaaaat? No boat? I'm sure the Jeep has a hitch on the back. You could pull a nice boat behind it. Just kidding, Have fun, be safe and above all else........ Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
understand why you are flat towing but your total length is over close to 80' and the only state that will allow you to travel that long is Wyoming at 85' all others are 75' or less, you are putting other HDT RVers at risk of being pulled into a Port of Entry and having a hole other can of worms opened up
I love seeing a couple thats been together forever and who still love eachother... its a wonderful thing
We're glad you enjoyed it. We're best friends!
It’s like the movie ” long, long trailer!” 😂
🤣
One of my favorite movies. We bought it because traveling is our life now. I had to promise hubby that I wouldn’t collect rocks from every stop. 😜
I love how everybody plays well together - Western Star, DRV Suite 5th wheel, and Jeep. 👍🏾💙🤍❤️🙏🏾
LOL...yes, they play very well together!
You two are like a well oiled machine. Organization makes life comfortable.
LOL...thanks Jeanne. We've learned over the years that we need to get it correct the first time! Have a great weekend.
I remember doing the drive from Montana to Yuma. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. We also stopped at the reservoir. I remember taking lots of pictures there.
It's a beautiful place and we really like stopping there. Hope you guys are doing well!

We're looking forward to it as well Elizabeth! We've been together over 45 years and we know each other pretty well! Have a great weekend.
Oh how I have missed the travel day videos and the soothing music!
Glad you enjoy them Mark!
Good lord how much more would an rv traveler need.
We can't think of anything...

We are big Howard. We've definitely evolved over the years on the road.
I hope if you need to drive that rig through some gate arm! That it has a photo cell camera to watch the length of the new rig!! LOL
🤣

We've been using checklists for years. We've seen so many people forget or skip a step and it turns into a disaster.
@@SuiteTravels I bet!
I have to laugh when I see Jim steer that big rig with what we called a suicide knob in the 60's! So funny to see how life repeats itself!
Oh yeah....it's really nice to use!
Y'alls rig is becoming a choo-choo train!❤
I have been looking for a solar generator and you have me sold on the Lion Energy Safari 3000 for my Jeep camper!
That will be really cool Carolyn! Let us know how it goes...

Thanks....we will!
Hey guys…enjoy your videos. I have a 23 Gladiator I tow behind my class A. Are you able to say which bumper you used on your Gladiator?
Thanks...we love having you along! The bumper we have is the Barricade Gladiator Trail Force HD bumper with LED lights from Extreme Terrain. So far we're really happy with it!
Nice solar panels. Ours are 12 years old. We may have to look at those.
They've got some pretty cool products!
I really enjoy the travel days.
Thanks Jeff...we love to share!
Safe travels ☺️ Great job on getting your new Jeep connected and on you go heading South for the season 🌤️💨
Thanks Joyce...it's a little different this season!
Those are some off the road tires on Willey!!!
They're really nice David...that's one of the things we liked about this vehicle!

Thanks Sherri. Traveling with friends is fun. See you soon!
How about a boat Jim? Triple tow? Lol. Looks like yall are doing great!
Triple?? No thank you!
Another great Video Jim and Kellie
Thanks Stephan!
Thanks Jim@ Kellie and Happy belated birthday 🎂 Jim on your 21st birthday lol
Was looking for help with how to get your class 8 tractor switched over to a RV. Looking to buy in Kentucky and they no longer allow you to switch over.
That's one "suite" looking train! 🙂 Taking notes on this season to see where all the great boondocking sites are at.
Thanks....too bad you're not coming south this year. It would be fun to get together!
@@SuiteTravels Haven't ruled out this year...yet; however I think the earliest will be this February. Yes a winter drive down the Alcan. We shall see.
Best of luck you 2 I'll be thinking of yall !!!!!
Oh also it looked like your rv ladder wasn't secured in the locked and upright position but.... I could be wrong
Thanks! We stowed the ladder while on the walk-around before we departed.
I would love to know how long you are and if it is legal. I've always wondered if I can do this at 70' long already. Thanks!
Damn jimmy I never seen you hooked up the jeep that is a long rig.
How many feet is total the rig?
Nice seeing Mt.
My question?
How do the RVers get to pull doubles without endorsement on their driver lic.? I hold a Comercial lic. I have to have doubles and triple on my lic.?
I am retired now. But when I was driving, all of us drivers wanted to know.
We're not commercial, so there isn't a requirement or even an option for doubles or triples on our SD drivers license.
@SuiteTravels yes I understand. But you're still pulling doubles. So it takes skills. We also have to have dot physical. Which really is a bunch of crap.
I was just interested in how this can be.
Looking at your rig all hooked up, id say you guys are probably over the legal limit for length 😂
It depends on the state most states its 75 feet Illinois 60 ft. It’s a do your research thing
We are long!
Hi what is the name of that campground with the lake y’all were at.
Safe travels…
It's Clark Canyon Reservoir just south of Dillon.
Wow what a rig, you Americans certainly know how to go big, this is coming from an Aussie who thinks towing a 30ft van is huge 😂😂. Beautiful set up.
Thank you Katherine...we love our home!

Good day can I ask which GPS to use safe travels
We have the Garmin RV1095 and have been very happy with it.
Uggggg Salt Lake City traffic!
Dennis I assume yiu use the legency by pass?
It's definitely one of the areas we dread Dennis...no, we don't use toll passes.
@@SuiteTravels there is no toll it takes you out by the SL airport and misses the mess on I 15
How long can you be concluding toeing the Jeep.
It depends on where we're traveling.
Does your ladder stay out all the time when you travel?
No it folds up against the RV. We stowed it during the walkaround before we headed out.
How long is your rig now?
Long...
Your rig is almost as long as the train you passed
🤣
It's a shame the truck does not fit in the garage and the side by side can go where little red went.
I suppose on short trips Kellie could always drive that would help on the hook up process. Safe travels!
That's the plan Tina! Have a great weekend.
Don’t pack your shorts yet you two! I’m just south of Tulsa. It was 93 today with a fire warning today. You’ll need them in Oklahoma City,
LOL...nope! We're ready for it!
Does anyone stay year round??
Yes Julie, there are a hand-full of owners that stay over the winter...but not many.
@@SuiteTravels We checked into Shyrock and were told that hardly any could stay all year. That was kind of a deal breaker for what we might be looking for. LOL....we've had boats. As the saying goes..."been there done that and don't want to do it again"!
It said 999 likes, I practically had to. 1k now.
You're awesome Brian!
I don’t know how you can change lanes. It would scare me to death
It's something that we have to pay attention to Kathy. The rear camera really gives us a good view behind so we can do it safely.

Strange you don’t answer any questions about how long you are other than long ? So my guess is you are 95 feet long.
We haven't measured...

Thank you my friend. Hope to get together soon.
