you remind me so much of my grandpa. He was from San Antonio and you guys share so many mannerisms. He unfortunately passed away from cancer this year and your videos have brought a smile to my face!
If you're in El Paso, you might be able to check out Blake's Lotaburger. They are more common in NM. If you are a foodie roadie, I would suggest Pody's BBQ in Pecos and Brick Vault BBQ in Marathon. Both are in desert locations, but hey...it's cheaper than Austin.
Oh man, so many good burger places in town! Next time you're here you need to do a burger tour , and you need try the Leroy and Lewis brisket burger, it's my new favorite burger in town (plus the rest of their bbq meats are excellent as well). Other local favorites are Casino el Camino(this was my favorite before I tried Leroy and Lewis), and Jewboy burgers.
Austin has done came up!! Found a decent paying job before i found a spot to live. DAMN was i wrong!! Still visit once a year but wont be moving there anytime soon.
Watterburger, I remember working in 2016. I found IN n Out California style. Today, you have more In n outs. My Japanese family now lives in Plano texas. They are working on Japanese community center .. Well, Downey California 😂😂😂
We gotta get this man a Mississippi Slugburger. It's a smash burger with big stale breadcrubs mixed in, salt and pepper on both sides, no cheese, just mustard and pickles. The breadcrumbs suck up all the beef fat and get so crispy. Easily my favorite burger. You gotta use those cheap white bread buns, no sesame seeds.
That parking fee was crazy! That is why I love San Antonio far more than Austin. I did like visiting Austin but when I lived in San Antonio I was always glad to not have lived in Austin ❤
Brother, of course you have a “lisp” but what does it matter? You make some bangin’ food and we ALL appreciate it 💪🏼. Never even really noticed enough to care, I just imagined it’s a TX thing 👏🏻👏🏻
Great video! Just subscribed. Going to NADC Burgers now! I Love In & Out & P. Terry’s and WhatABurger is Chicago Corporate now.. but I trust your review! Arnie TX!!👍🏼
Greetings funny man, you live en el Valle, have you ever tried Bertha's Burgers in Donna, TX? Those are DE-LI-CI-OSOS! BTW, shop's only open when the winter birds are in town, but them are some outstanding burgers! You're very entertaining🤩
I wasn't hungry until watching this! Whatever you eat or cook ALWAYS makes me hungry! Dayum bro! Whenever my wife and I come to Texas, we gotta visit every place you've been!
@7:54 in the panhandle west Texas? Or West, TX? Lol bro, I’m from the Texas panhandle and the valley heat is miserable for me. I haven’t adjust and probably never will. 🤦🏻♂️ great video
You got to try 50/50 slaters. Not sure they have some in Texas but they have a peanut butter /jelly burger and it’s delicious. Sounds weird but it’s good
I drove past tperrys for a year before stopping and trying it. It's not bad... went back to whataburger because I always lived in Leander or New Braunfels and just had to work in austin (ATF). dans and frans (out of business now) were good when I moved there in '05 but casino el camino, hopdoddys, and phil's icehouse were my favs.. been gone for 4 years now so it might have changed. Austin used to be (I guess still is) a burger paradise. I spent much time in the valley at the CBP points and POE's so I noticed the valley traffic and craziness got as bad as austin around 2010.. can't imagine what it's like now.
43! Forty three?!?! I left California and I never thought I’d be surprised again. I’m in Korea and I can travel across the country for less than 43 American dollars
Wow what's wrong with America? Going out for a burger end of the day will cost you $100 when you add parkin, getting there (petrol) and the burger itself
I always figured grinding wagyu is a bit of a waste. Wagyu is special because of its intermuscular fat percentage, but you could always just add more fat if you're making ground beef
Arnie have u try out 2F Akaushi Wagyu ground beef? Burgers come out awesome on grill and smash burgers on the skillet And they're local beef ranch they sell at heb and Bob Starks beef shop
Love your channel, but have to say Whataburger in Texas is great. In Tennessee, it SUCKS! Don’t get it if you are ever in TN or you’ll be so disappointed 😂
you remind me so much of my grandpa. He was from San Antonio and you guys share so many mannerisms. He unfortunately passed away from cancer this year and your videos have brought a smile to my face!
4:17 hey I recognize that guy!! He is from Caleb Hammer's channel glad he finally found somewhere to work 😁 dude was struggling for quite sometime
Neen is a legend; grew up skating and loved seeing him in the deathwish vids, sick to see him branching out and succeeding in a different avenue.
Neen's heelflips were so dope. I agree with you, nice to see him doing something different and killing it like he did skateboarding
For anyone wondering, the song in the background at 3:41 is 1901 by Phoenix
Burgers looked good but $43 plus for damned parking is crazy! Don’t want a burger that bad.
Agree!😮
Nor do I! I’ll just replicate 🍔 to the best of my ability!!
I’ve never heard of parking that expensive in my life!!
Just make it yourself. 😊
Who pays $43 for parking…😂
Hey Arnie! HUGE fan of the recipies and I love these vlog type vids too! Keep up the good work and stay cool down there in Texas!
Big shout out to neen Williams. A legend for sure

El paso here.
Podys is great
Their green chili sauce is 🔥. Last two times I drove through ABQ I made a point to stop there. And their onion rings are amazing too
Homemade burgers are the best hands down
Facts
I agree just depends who is making them
It’s hard to beat the flavor that a griddle or grill that’s cooked hundreds of thousands of burgers.
@@TehPwnographer Yeah you're right but they've gotten so damn expensive. I do crave a whataburger every once in a while
You haven't had these guys burgers. I had it once and it was the best burger of my life, hands down!
Your video is perfectly timed! I will come to Austin in September and I will definitely get this burger! Great review! Greetings from Germany ✌
Casino El Camino in Austin, best burgers in Austin. Especially with their amazing crispy pork belly
Tio Arnie thanks so much for the great videos and recipes!
See I Wish My Mom And Granny Was Still Here They Made The Best smash burgers Okay Nothing Homemade❤❤❤❤❤
They opened up a location in Chicago, can’t wait to try it! Thanks for the review Arnie!
Arnie, park in the convention center parking next time. Much cheaper and just a few blocks away. OR come park at my house and I will take you :)
Hey Arnie, great video, my mouth is watering! How much are the burgers there?
Nothing beats Phil’s Ice house in Austin. 78750 burger is 👌 been going there for 13 years now

Hey! My husband and I love watching you and your family cook!! Could you show us how to make Tacos Al Carbon? You all are GREAT!
Watterburger, I remember working in 2016. I found IN n Out California style. Today, you have more In n outs. My Japanese family now lives in Plano texas. They are working on Japanese community center .. Well, Downey California 😂😂😂
Certified Gold!!!!!
Burger was good. It definitely was my top 5 ever eaten burger. It’s a really good combination of ingredients. And super juicy.
I’ve lived here in Austin all my life and I’ve never heard of this place! Gotta go now!! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
because it's new
Probably been said before but i love arnies energy, straight good dad energy
Tio! Totally agree on burger choice , so jealous I can't have one of those.
We are from the Austin Area, and I can't stand how they drive there. Loven your recipes, Arnie! I'm definitely an onion and pickles person too.
the porky the pig friggin killed me, love your videos keep up the good work.

I agree mustard and pickles on a burger is a must, cheese too.
I love smash burgers pickles onions and mustard with cheese ! Perfect !
Delicious
Hi can't wait that burger looks delicious
We’re finally getting a whataburger. Or however. Here in Athens Ga. I’m feeling ya pain Arnie on the darn Apple ID. I never remember myself either!!
Good call on P-Terry’s vs What-a-burger. That’s a good fight!
That parking fee was crazy! That is why I love San Antonio far more than Austin. I did like visiting Austin but when I lived in San Antonio I was always glad to not have lived in Austin ❤
Arnie is a gem. Thanks Arnie!
That's crazy that guy at the register was on an episode of financial audit with Caleb Hammer.
By the way the guy's name is James Henderson
That's freaking nuts for parking. What a ripoff.
BUT, it makes me want to try NADC now! Lol.
Going to have to dust off my dad's Mel tillis records lol. 😂😂Much love arnie!!!!
Just subscribed. Can we adopt you as a grandpa You seem like the perfect example of a grandfather. Your family must be blessed.
We all love your eating adventures. We don’t care about your lisp!!! Happy eating!
My friend took me here back in Feb blew my mind!
Iron Table Wagyu! 🔥🔥🚀🍔💯
Hey Arnie! You should make a video of what your whataburger orders are and why!
Arnie is so much a Texan, he should be added to the King of the Hill reboot
That burger looks so GOOD! Will put on my radar one day ❤
When you down in San Antonio try BurgerBoy… My favorite burger place ❤
Brother, of course you have a “lisp” but what does it matter? You make some bangin’ food and we ALL appreciate it 💪🏼. Never even really noticed enough to care, I just imagined it’s a TX thing 👏🏻👏🏻
Just a heads up, if your airbag goes off with your arm through the wheel like that, it's probably gonna completely pulverize your arm bones
Two months, have to save up for parking
Great video! Just subscribed. Going to NADC Burgers now! I Love In & Out & P. Terry’s and WhatABurger is Chicago Corporate now.. but I trust your review! Arnie TX!!👍🏼
That's it. I'm slow smoking some wagyu burgers for lunch!
We just tried NADC a few days ago and not only do they look super sexy but they really are a 10! And so is Whataburger !!!
Greetings funny man, you live en el Valle, have you ever tried Bertha's Burgers in Donna, TX? Those are DE-LI-CI-OSOS! BTW, shop's only open when the winter birds are in town, but them are some outstanding burgers! You're very entertaining🤩

it's almost as bad as austin and SA
How about your version of mexican street corn ? Would be much appreciated.
My Dad's family is from Austin (central Texas) and Mom's family is from the Valley. They met in Austin...
43! Forty three?!?! I left California and I never thought I’d be surprised again. I’m in Korea and I can travel across the country for less than 43 American dollars
Those are some great looking burgers and fries. Cheers, Arnie! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Wow what's wrong with America? Going out for a burger end of the day will cost you $100 when you add parkin, getting there (petrol) and the burger itself
I know. I wasn’t even there and I was pissed off for Arnie. Lol
$43 for parking?! Wtf?! Another reason to not live in the city
More of a city problem than an America problem. I live in the suburbs outside Austin, and my favorite hamburger is a little truck in a gravel lot.
Austin.....
I live like 30 minutes from there, I gotta go 😮 Next time you’re in ATX my wife and I would love to grab a beer
James H working the front of house! Caleb would be proud.
I literally came to the comments to find someone else that made that connection! Financial audit, represent!
Looks ok and probably is great...but give me whataburger double smothered in green chili...plus parking is free
Saw you and your son as a taster with Joshua Weissman. Hopefully you're ok after that burger. lol
We good lol, that was fun, wish I had taken a second bite.
Was watching that yesterday myself and I did a double take towards the beginning...was like "Is that Arnie.....dammit...that is Arnie!!" lol
This makes my mouth water
If that grease ain’t running down your hand in between your fingers you ain’t eating!! Looks good bro have to check it out
Great 🍔 burger! Made me hungry!😊
I always figured grinding wagyu is a bit of a waste. Wagyu is special because of its intermuscular fat percentage, but you could always just add more fat if you're making ground beef
Sir, you are the definition of cool.
Looks really good. But I'm not going to down to Rainey St. I try to avoid Austin as much as I can. Which is just about all the time.
Since your from West Texas (como yo), maybe do a West Texas best restaurants??? ❤
Arnie love the content! I’d love to see your take on salsa macha
Thanks
Can you make a video on how to make easy elotes? Thanks!
You the man Arnie, keep it up!
Damnit Arnie... We pulled hard for you with the Joshua burger challenge...
Probably
Awesome looking burgers, I've fast become a smash burger junkie these past few months.
Great Vid. Arnie!
Where about in west Texas are you from? I was raised in midland and currently live in Lubbock.
Inn n out over whataburger any day
You forgot about grilled onions. Got to have that.
What is your Top 5 burgers
Arnie have u try out 2F Akaushi Wagyu ground beef? Burgers come out awesome on grill and smash burgers on the skillet And they're local beef ranch they sell at heb and Bob Starks beef shop
Love your channel, but have to say Whataburger in Texas is great. In Tennessee, it SUCKS! Don’t get it if you are ever in TN or you’ll be so disappointed 😂
I can't get over that parking 😮 OMG someone's making a killing.
Ohhhhhhh, dude......that looks AWESOME 🤙😎
That won’t beat what-a-burger no way.
That parking fee would be enough to keep me from EVER going their !!! Ridiculous
These look great but shout out to Dan’s, been holding down Austin and they have parking lots lol
What was the cost? Love your content, as always. ❤❤😊😊
Less than the parking lol.
San Diego has a burger spot called swagyu and the el swagidor burger is it .
That’s crazy! I sure hope there are other places to park than paying that that price just to go there lol.
That looks delicious! 🤤
Loved the burger❤❤❤
Beers at la perla bar next time!
Arnie, here is a random question what brand shirt are you wearing?
Did anyone else recognize the guy at the counter from caleb hammer's financial audit?
