Fall in love with the colors in this crocheted Polka Dot Granny Square Blanket. My crochet pattern design was inspired by my daughter's NICU isolette/incubator quilt. These would be wonderful to create and donate to your local NICU ❤️

This project is soooo cute ! Thank you very much you are a fabulous instructor. ❤
I LOVE POLKA DOTS THANKS.THIS WOULD MAKE A DARLING BABY BLANKET IN ANY ALL 1 COLOR DOT OR PINK/BLUE , GREEN/YELLOW, DO MANY WAYS
CAN YOU MAKE THE SQUARES ((THE WHITE YARN BIGGER WITH 4 ROWS)) ?? HOW MANY SQUARES FOR THIS BLANKET??SORRY SO MANY COMMENTS.
I was wondering the same thing! I'm not good at math, so I was wondering how many squares were in it also!?
To do another round repeat the last round. You will add 4 stitches to each side. If you have 10, you added 4 so you have 14 stitches. This next round will be 18. 2 in the corner 14 across and 2 in the corner. This is like making a solid granny square. I hope this works for you. Don’t forget the chain one space in the corner.
@@Grumpytank59 THANK YOU VERY MUCH I AM NEW AT CROCHETING.
I love how you changed the join color. It gives the blanket a really cozy feel! I have made a number of granny square blankets and have always joined the squares with the same color throughout. I'm going to try your technique on my next project. Thank you!
Thanks for the kind words! These colors were so fun to play with.
Thanks. I was able to make the circle granny with ease
This is a gorgeous blanket. Love the colours thank you for showing us the pattern ❤
Thank you for sharing this gorgeous pattern, I totally love it, and I have also loved watching your channel❣
Would love to know my squares to make, it's so simple
These are really lovely. Thank you. What else could you make with these squares? I’m a beginner so something simple, but don’t need a blanket.
I was thinking, you could make the circles with a variegated yarn and the seams with a matching solid. Or the other way around.
I love that idea!
Thank you great video😊
This is adorable. Thank you for sharing.
You're a great teacher. I'm starting this tomorrow as soon as my yarn comes. Two of my nieces are pregnant so at least one will be getting this as a baby blanket.
*I just can't get the hang of a magic circle. I must have tried 20 times. So I looked up another way of starting the circle and now I have it!
That is wonderful. Thank you so much. I'm glad you got your project started. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you so much for this pattern! I love the colors and border. I am following your video and also bought your pattern on Etsy. Just wanted to comment that on the written pattern once you change color and doing the corners you do not specify that would need to do 2 dc in the same space twice. It is written 2dc, ch1, 2 dc in the same space. Thankfully on your video you do mention it and was able to continue.
I appreciate that, thanks for letting me know. I’ll correct that error.
Are you talking about the first corner made? The ch 3 counts as the 1st dc so that is 2dc in the first st. Then ch 1 and place 2dc in the next st to make the first corner. The rest of the corners are (2dc, ch 1, 2dc). Does that make sense?
Yes thankyou!
That is the easist explanation of turning a round into a sq. Great teacher
Thank you, you made my day ❤
doinģ Very simple and cùte. I am going to tŕy this in a solid color squares, it looks like àn èàsier way to start solid squares. Thank You, Renae
I really like this. I especially like the colors you chose. Thank you for going nice and slow on the instructions.

Well down and easy to follow this beautiful pattern
Love it! I'll be making it.

Very pretty, I'm going to give it a try. This winter, thank you so much for sharing.❤
I have not seen the seams done with different colors. I’m definitely going to try it. The polka dots are fun and I can see using left over yarn for this pattern. I appreciate you taking the time to create this video.
These are perfect for scrap yarn!
Beautiful! ❤ the colors.

This is such a cheerful blanket. Wonderfully illustrated. I am going to make this. I am a new subby.
Did you wash your blanket or do you dry clean it after it is completed?
This is so adorable! Gonna give this a try love how you join and the border!!! New to your channel more tutorials love them I can't read a pattern!!

Hello! I am a new subscriber.I was just searching for granny squares and your channel with this video showed up. I was t looking for this per se, but I LOVE IT! I’ve been wanting to make my first granny square Afghan for my new king sized bed. I think this will be perfect! Love the colors too! 😊❤

Yay! Thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
How many squares did you use
56 total. 8 squares by 7 squares.
I'm a beginner and not knowing exactly what stitch you're going into when you join the border color throws my count off...in either end up guessing it right, or having 1 less or 1 too many... I have too many off these yup make too keep guessing and taking it down to re-try🥹
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
what is the name of the yarn that you used for this blanket, please?
I used "I Love This Yarn"
-white
-lemon ice
-Pink
-Soft Blue
-light peach
-Ocean
-orchid
I DON'T LIKE MAGIC CIRCLE, CAN I JUST CHAIN & SLIP & CONTINUE WITH CIRCLE. I" M NEW AT CROCHET & HAVE TRIED CIRVLE NEVER WORKS. THANKS
Try an adjustable ring. I will make a tutorial for one in my next video. I get this question a lot.
I’ve found that doubling the magic circle ring makes ALL the difference. Suddenly it stays tight, feels secure, and is easy.
These are adorable! Thanks!
