We use a kitchen garbage bag for laundry. We also pour a handful of powder soap in a sandwich bag. Also bring a small pill case with earrings. Individual bug wipes as well as sanitizer. Nail file and scissors.
A watch that doesn't automatically update when traveling through many time zones as local time may be different than ship time. Also, when using your phone app as a clock, the app may NOT be reliable. A cheap battery-operated watch on the go and a battery operated alarm clock for your cabin is all you need!
If your watch updates to the time zone of your phone, turn off "Automatic date and time" and "Automatic Time Zone". Do this at your Embarkation port if closed loop and your ship time is always the same.
I have that old and new usb charging hub. The old one is convenient for us since older ships do not have three plus spots close for the CPAP my husband uses. If we are on a newer ship that has regular plug space near the bed that’s a different story. We are trying our first carnival cruise in 2 months in their older ship and will need the older plug in to get power closer to the bed.
I was running late for an appointment listening to this video and hit double speed so I could listen to the end of it before arrival and Sherri's happy voice at double time had me giggling. 😅❤
I take laundry detergent sheets to use when washing small clothing items in the sink. They work well and don’t take up much room. You don’t have to worry about the liquid laundry soap leaking in your bag.
Have you ever seen oxygen concentrators that people need in their rooms to wear their oxygen at night? I just wondered if they are allowed and if they would have to be checked at the airport. I would be afraid of the machine getting lost by the baggage handlers.
Check airline requirements on if they have to be checked. I believe they are allowed to be used while in flight, at least some models, so you should be able to carry on

Absolutely! We always do- we pack carry on only exclusively and as mentioned in the video - not everyone needs it all. This is a basic guide to get folks started. If you watch any of our packing videos, you’ll see that we are relatively minimalist.
