Thanks so much for watching my video! If you enjoyed, please support my channel by clicking both the THUMBS UP and SUBSCRIBE buttons! Want to watch another? Let me tell you why I LOVE cruising in an Inside cabin, and why I think you should, too! ua-cam.com/video/q7y6tIMV8YE/v-deo.html
I’ve already watched the interior cabin video and can completely concur why you would say that. I am totally blind, and if I was cruising, I would want an interior cabinet just so that it wasn’t as noisy.
My family loves having to stand in the hallway while i get my video 😂 Great tip that i also do because you're right, that cabin/room won't ever be this tidy
The temptation with us is to dump the cases and get out and about the ship on the 1st day, especially if it's a new ship to us. However, I can't argue with the logic of your list, tho. Lovely to see Laura in a couple of the clips ! Happy Saint Stephen's day ! 😂
Oh, I know this feeling too well - I’m always SO tempted to ignore the room and go off to explore without doing these things, but I know I’ll regret it after! Thanks for your ongoing support, Stephen!
thanks a lot, tip of asking cabin attendant for kettle is so helpful 😊 previously i was too shy for that, but on my next cruise with msc i will ask 💪 thank you again, have a nice day
Hi Fraser, thanks for the info. I think it would be good for people to compile your 15 points into a written or digital list, and add any others to it. I noted number 14 re the spare hangers: I could tell that you made this as a male person as, for, as a female I would say ‘what are spare hangers’? I always take extras like 10 extras, and always fill them - so my hangers would not sway! Thank you for filming this video. Your info and advice is always so good. Happy Hogmanay!
Hazel, you’ve made me laugh there. My Mum would probably agree - if she were to cruise with me, I bet her hangers wouldn’t sway as she’d use them all, haha! I’ll have a think about a written list - watch this space - thanks for the suggestion!! 😊
Thanks for great ideas -- most of which we also follow (after 40 odd cruises all with Celebrity Cruises we kind of know their cabins well now ;l-) ) Also take pix when we get there ( and in hotels) if there are any issues/concerns, having proof of the condition in which you found it, can always help too). Thanks again & keep up the great work- Happy and Safe sailings to you & your family!
Thanks for watching, Sylvia! I never actually thought about if there are any problems - that’s such a great point. Thanks for this, and happy cruising!!
Another Great Video Fraser. As for emptying the mini-bar fridge, do you mean empty it myself, or do you mean ask the attendant to take everything out of it for me? Thanks👍🏻
Hello! Thanks a lot for watching - much appreciated! I ask my cabin attendant can’t to empty it - that way, they know I haven’t drank them when they come in and check the fridge. Also, if I remove things, they’ll probably rattle around somewhere, but the cabin attendant removing everything will get rid of it!
Brilliant idea regarding the hangers and taking a picture. However, cruise lines are getting more fussy regarding simple requests like water. I require water twice daily to take multiple medications. Holland America will still send water through room service, but Princess will force you to buy a water package even though their customer service said it was free. Princess wasn't always like this, times are changing.
Hi Ryan, thanks for watching! I agree - it does change significantly depending on the cruise line, so always worth doing your homework for your particular line. I found HAL to be very good on my last cruise with them - almost nothing was too much for my cabin attendant!
Hey! You need to be super careful with extensions etc - I’d always recommend checking the prohibited items list for your individual cruise line on that one, as there are lots of different rules and policies out there! Thanks for watching!

Ha, that’s funny - I’m so glad I’m not the only person that makes people wait outside 😂 Thanks a lot for watching!
Good one, thanks! Nice, organized system you have. I think all of us with more than a couple cruises have a routine. 😊
Thanks a lot, Tammy! I always love hearing how everyone’s routines differ to each other!
Thanks for your tips and reminders for a great pre trip inspection!
Thanks a lot for your support by watching, Paul!

Ahh, I think you should always ask incase they have them. If you don’t ask, you don’t get 😂 Happy cruising (hopefully with a kettle…)!!
And don't forget to look for rum in the Mini-Fridge, shpimate.
Ideally FREE rum in the mini fridge. Otherwise, my Glaswegian tendencies want to get rid of it urgently 😂
#14 is done as soon as unpacking is done. just started sailing, and took me a cruise and 1/2 to figure that one out.
Ha, that’s so funny. Thanks for watching!

The one thing my wife and I always do is to make sure the room is CLEAN checking the tops of pictures etc for dirt
Ahh, this is another good one Ian - good shout!
Brilliant!!!!
Thanks! 😊

Good stuff Fraser, Thanks! I have not cruised in awhile...are you still allowed to bring an indoor extension cord?!?!?

@@FraserAtSea Thanks!
Before you unpack anything - check the bed with a flashlight/ light on your phone for bedbugs.
Ahh, I actually never do this - probably not a bad idea! 😮
