I just recently did my first declutter. Gave the drug store and mainstream ones to a friend starting her collection and destashed the indies on a group on FB I’m in. Was nice to make a few bucks back to buy more polish 👍🏻
I still love your review/swatch of collections or new polishes. I don't really wear my polishes based on seasons. I pretty much wear whatever i want through out the year. so even if it's not winter anymore, i will still wear those "winter" colors!
If your phone camera can get the color(s) decent, Snupps can help with that problem too. You can put a polish on more than one shelf, I have mine tagged by color and brand. It takes a little longer to input each polish, but I care more about cross-brand color dupes than many of the big youtubers seem to. I even physically sort my polish totally by color, ignoring brands. I'll often even tag one polish multiple colors like green AND teal AND blue for a shimmer or glitter polish that could land in any of those. Especially if it looks totally different in different light. More than three and I'll just throw it on the "multicolor" shelf though.
If you have a smartphone, there are several apps dedicated to nail polish specifically. I use "nail polish rack" app which keeps track of every polish I have by brand, color, finish etc, plus I have a wishlist and it has most polishes known to man in its database so you can browse to see if anything strikes your fancy. I need it because I have over 300 now (I know, people have more but it's a lot for me), and I've never bought a dupe thanks to the app. Plus if I'm stumped on what to use next, I can browse my collection to help me decide. I'm sure there are other apps just like it.
I did the fake nail thing back in the 90s, but got tired of the salon trips when I was short on time or money. I let the natural nails grow back, and haven't been to a salon since. It's so much more convenient to buy a couple of bottles of polish (ahem) as I can afford them, and then paint my nails on a schedule that works for me. If I get tired of a polish after a day, I can switch without forking out $$$$ for a color change. Maybe if I were wealthy, it wouldn't be a big deal to pay for color changes and etc.., but if I were that wealthy, I'd just hire someone to come to the house to do my nails for me.

I love how organized this is. I tried organizing all my polishes in rainbow order, but after, like, two weeks, it was a lost cause lol. And I think your China Glaze drawer is my favorite! I actually just bought my first CG polish, and I can't wait to use it!

Also, when you mentioned the Color Me Monthly polishes, I got sad all over again lol I discovered them through you originally and had only gotten them for maybe 4 or 5 months before they stopped everything and I was so upset! I hope there'll be another nail polish subscription service that will come out.

If you want to label the polishes that you can't see the color of in the bottle, I have a tip that might help. Have you seen that in the hole reinforcer sheets, when you take off the big circle that goes on the paper, you end up with a tiny circle sticker? I usually put in a drop of polish in one of those, let it dry and then stick it in the cap. I store my polishes in a box, so it's easier for me to see the color without having to take everything out. I'm also a hoarder that keeps the empty bottles "in case I need to re-bottle a polish" XD

I lost my collection, accessories & storage cases in a move about 6 months ago, prob had maybe half of what's in the video, but watching & seeing everything makes me MISS IT SO BAD!!😪 Ironically the only good thing about it, just happens to be the worst thing about it too, now I get to start all over again...eventually, when I get brave enough lol😉
This is one of the most satisfying nail polish videos I've ever seen. Some UA-camrs just simply put all of their nail polishes in a box and even after they've finished decluttering, they throw the ones they want back into their box. That's unsatisfying and kinda unsettling to me although watching decluttering videos is satisfying. I don't organize my stuff very well cuz I'm lazy. Lol. But at least I put my nail polishes into a storage box nicely making sure they sit straight up instead of laying down, without just throwing them in. I forgot how many I have but I think I have about 20 or maybe about 30. Watching this type of videos makes me feel like I want more nail polishes so I can organise and make my stuff and my room look better but I can't see/find myself with so many polishes especially when I don't even often use some of them. In fact, I don't always wear nail polish. It's gonna be a waste of money and space so I can't do that even if I want to. 😅
Haha it's fun to just have something to collect in general, so I understand the urge! Back when I had 10-40 polishes, I would actually store them in one of the drawers in my dresser just so they would stay upright and in a nice order haha! Now I've got way too many to do that though. Wow, so many brands that I’ve never heard of! The one I did know and love so much is JINSoon. Jin Soon Choi is a celebrity manicurist from Korea who has several beautiful nail salons in New York City. She does lots of shows for Fashion Week. I wish I had more of her polishes, but because they’re a high-end brand, they’re so expensive at $18 a bottle, and the bottles are so small! Love her colors, though. I always get compliments when I wear JINSoon!
It took me about 3 hours to photograph, label and shelve 81 nail polishes today. I can't imagine how long it's taking you with that many! Love Snupps tho! Just discovered it a few days ago.
I tried to use Snupps when you did your last collection video, and I was so confused so I deleted it. 😂 may have to try again. I have way over 200 nail polishes and always forget what I have and what I don't.

I just went back to my natural hair color so I’m a little jealous of your hair situation. I’m hoping I’ll be able to find a job where I can go back to having hair that’s any color of the rainbow 😂
Well, you definitely have more polish then I have, and I have a LOT! I finally just bought a 6 tier triple shelf. I love that you are able to say who gabe you what and where you got the different polishes. I buy all mine myself. What are you going to do with all the polish you get rid of? Oh, and you signed "nasty" in ASL when you were waving bye. 😂 My youngest son is hard of hearing and that was one of the first signs we learned. That can be your next fun fact. 😂

I only have about 30 polishes and already I'm buying doubles because I can't remember if I already have that color or not.. I don't know if you are into thermal polishes, but I am absolutely IN LOVE with Femme Fatale - Nightfall. U should use a slide free thingy in the bottom of your drawers so the polishes doesn't slide around. I do in mine and it so nice. Bought a roll in ikea and just cut it out to fit

Hi Kelli! As usual your makeup is so pretty and flawless looking. You have assuaged my curiosity with this video. I didnt realize that your nail polish turney thing was that tall. I thought it was just a small thing on your desk! And your bf did a great job! Also here is a suggestion. Even if your chesire cat pic is a weird size you can always go up the next larger size and then u have a custom matte made for it. You can make the cuts plain or very fancy and its not that expensive. Michaels always has coupons for custom framing so you could get a very nice frame/matte for a good price! Luvs ya❣

Declutter video please! And what you said about KBshimmer is so true. I had the shade pink-a-colada and after a year the bright pink just faded away, leaving a kind of pinkish grey color. And my nail polishes are stored in a dark place, without any sunlight or humidity. Clean all my bottle caps after every use, so no logical explanation for that, rather than a poor shelf life!

Wow! You have sooo many. I only have a couple.........hundred. Lol. I can’t stop buying! My mom is actually in the midst of helping me make another rack. She made one for me before but I ran out of room. I like to see my polishes on display....it gives me a sense of achievement. I love your china glaze drawer. China glaze is also my favorite brand. ❤️
I have the same drawer system and I love them! Mine are just organized by color. I think organizing by brand and then putting in rainbow order is a great idea! I might just have to reorganize mine now! The app looks very interesting so I don’t buy dupes! That happens a lot!!

Wow... I just love your collection 💖💖💖. ... Nail polish is a passion for me, but due to not having that much room, I only have about 300 bottles. ... Every time I go shopping I see a "new" color and have to buy it. I have one favorite brand, but even if the colors are gorgeous, the 'limited editions' from them are sooo bad, and after getting so disappointed so many times, I ignore them now. ... Unfortunately all the brands you show us we don't get here in my Country, and I don't like to order them on the internet, because I want to see the color in original first. I have tried it, but got so much crap and ugly colors!! Your channel is the only Make-up channel I have described to, because you explain things very well and you have a very lovely voice to listen to. ... Keep up the great work 💥

Kelli that one bottle of RMS is from the RMS Beauty line. They are known for using healthy ingredients in their products. Their polishes are cruelty free and vegan. You can get their products at Sephora and Beautylish.
I tried using an app for polish organization, but after a couple hundred polishes that got too overwhelming for me. I switched to Excel. Enjoyed seeing your collection/setup.

Lol! It definitely took time but it’s easier to do small amounts at a time, so now that I have the bulk of them in there, it’s easy to update!

I just went back to my natural hair color so I’m a little jealous of your hair situation. I’m hoping I’ll be able to find a job where I can go back to having hair that’s any color of the rainbow 😂

Well, you definitely have more polish then I have, and I have a LOT! I finally just bought a 6 tier triple shelf. I love that you are able to say who gabe you what and where you got the different polishes. I buy all mine myself. What are you going to do with all the polish you get rid of?

I don't know if you are into thermal polishes, but I am absolutely IN LOVE with Femme Fatale - Nightfall. If you get the chance, it is definitely worth trying any polish from that collection :)

U should use a slide free thingy in the bottom of your drawers so the polishes doesn't slide around. I do in mine and it so nice. Bought a roll in ikea and just cut it out to fit

Hi Kelli! As usual your makeup is so pretty and flawless looking. You have assuaged my curiosity with this video. I didnt realize that your nail polish turney thing was that tall. I thought it was just a small thing on your desk! And your bf did a great job! Also here is a suggestion. Even if your chesire cat pic is a weird size you can always go up the next larger size and then u have a custom matte made for it. You can make the cuts plain or very fancy and its not that expensive. Michaels always has coupons for custom framing so you could get a very nice frame/matte for a good price! Luvs ya❣

Declutter video please! And what you said about KBshimmer is so true. I had the shade pink-a-colada and after a year the bright pink just faded away, leaving a kind of pinkish grey color. And my nail polishes are stored in a dark place, without any sunlight or humidity. Clean all my bottle caps after every use, so no logical explanation for that, rather than a poor shelf life!
Yeah the same happened with mine even though I store them in drawers :/

I have the same drawer system and I love them! Mine are just organized by color. I think organizing by brand and then putting in rainbow order is a great idea! I might just have to reorganize mine now! The app looks very interesting so I don’t buy dupes! That happens a lot!!
I used to have mine organized by color and I loved it, but some polishes would be sort of a blend and I never know where to put them!

Wow... I just love your collection 💖💖💖. ... Nail polish is a passion for me, but due to not having that much room, I only have about 300 bottles. ... Every time I go shopping I see a "new" color and have to buy it. I have one favorite brand, but even if the colors are gorgeous, the 'limited editions' from them are sooo bad, and after getting so disappointed so many times, I ignore them now. ... Unfortunately all the brands you show us we don't get here in my Country, and I don't like to order them on the internet, because I want to see the color in original first. I have tried it, but got so much crap and ugly colors!!

As soon as you opened up the nails inc drawer. My eyes opened. I loved the shiny. Did you have floss gloss in the back of that random bottom drawer? I thought I saw their gold tops.
