I got sensitive Rosacea fungal acne skin and I can’t use any of The Ordinary nor CeraVe products w/o breaking out into yeast infection from hell or general sensitivity! Actually my skin is like this due to never using anything on my skin, to suddenly going in with a whole skincare regimen including cleansers, toners, chemical
exfoliants/actives, creams and sunscreen from these brands as well as K-beauty, which did havoc on my skin. Haven’t seen my actual skin color since Xmas 2019. It’s either red or bumps all over my face, and I don’t even have acne prone skin, nor did I ever had any skin issues previously, and I used to use whatever w/o any issues except from products that would aggravate ate my sensitive reactive skin.
I came across this video completely by chance but within about half a minute of you talking, I was searching for the subscribe button onscreen. You seem so genuine, knowledgeable, and overall lovely.
Wow, you are a godsend, Brooke! Do you know if fungal acne will ever go away, or are we stuck being fungal acne prone for the rest of our lives? (I've been battling with what I originally thought was sensitive skin/perioral dermatitis, but I now believe to be fungal acne. The way I found out is that whenever I use a fungal unsafe product, I get these tiny little bumps all over that area, but if I stick to fungal safe stuff, my skin is smooth.)
