    FA is so annoying. I wish i could just buy products , but no, i have to make sure they are good for acne prone and oily skin and also for kinda sensitive skin AND that they are fungal acne safe.

    For sure going to try these tips. I've been at this for a month now and still have them really bad on my check area. BUT, my overall skin feels A LOT better. More hydrated, not tight and feels super smooth. And I admit, I haven't been using sunscreen daily because I hardly go outside so I thought it wasn't needed. but I will start incorporating that in to my routine again every day. I've also slacked with moisturizing day AND night. So I am going to start doing that too and not be lazy and see if that helps.

      @@Brookesbeautybazaar Thank you! Can I ask you which website you use to qualify products as “safe”? I’ve been using folliculitisscout.com & it is finding questionable or unsafe ingredients in almost everything I own, and many items on your lists & others lists. Is it maybe too tough or stringent to use?

    • @Brookesbeautybazaar
      @Brookesbeautybazaar  3 роки тому

      @@taraberg I use that one mostly and also sezia.co mostly just to fact check myself because I can spot triggers pretty easily these days, but I LOVE that folliculitis scout breaks everything down more thoroughly!
      Cautionary ingredients aren't necessarily going to spell disaster for you. I just take them for what they are. I mention them for the sake of everyone here- but for myself, I have mostly found they are of no concern.
      With cautionary ingredients- I take mental note so that if the product seems to cause me issues, I have a good starting point/ potential culprit as to why. (hope that makes sense!)
      HOWEVER- all that said, I have found through trial and error that for the most part- they make no difference when included in a formula b/c my skincare routine is so solid!

    can i use the eucerin original healing cream for my fungal acne? it’s glycerin free but i’m pretty sure it’s meant for the body. glycerin triggers my FA so much but the other glycerin free mosturizers i’ve tried don’t really mosturize my face for that long.

    Hi! I have a question... I’m a pre teen going through fungal acne and I see all these videos of how to cure it but nothing seems to be making my skin clear, my mom always tells me it also has to do with the fact that I’m going through puberty so to not expect it to go away in 2 weeks like it does for most people/adults. I am also very frustrated and confused because some people say to not trust Nizoral and then other people say Nizoral totally worked for them, and the same thing goes on with other products. I’m just very stressed cause these spots only on my forehead won’t go away because of the fact that I live in a humid country, play sports everyday which means a I sweat a lot, and also because of the yeast in my hair. I just wish I had a good dermatologist to tell me the specific and exact steps on how to cure this instead of me trying to investigate and search my way through it by myself :( please answer me I am in desperate need of help.

      Omgg Samee, even I am a teen and have fungal acne all over my forehead. I have been trying different products for months but nothing seems to work and it's soo frustrating cause I am spending soo much time and money on these products but I see no results . And living in a humid climate makes it worse :(

    • @Slickvic23
      @Slickvic23 3 роки тому +3

      To both of you, if it is actually fungal acne (I’d bet it’s hormonal acne due to your age tbh), zinc soap is the answer.. It’s expensive, but will clear it up within 2-3 weeks. Nizoral will also clear it up but zinc soap is the real deal. If neither of these help or it doesn’t go away or start improving within 2-3 weeks, you do not have fungal acne and it’s back to the drawing board. I struggled with this for over 8 years, (not just a few bumps either. I mean all over my face shoulders chest and back) until I recently figured out that i was treating my skin for different forms of acne and it actually was fungal acne. I literally have tried it all... what I’ve noticed is that Fungal acne is very stubborn under wrong treatment but seems to be very easy under the right treatment, however, figuring it out and diagnosing skin conditions properly is so tricky. So you want to attack it from the outside but also the inside....drink apple cider vinegar or take ACV gummies 2x a day to kill it from the inside while zinc soap for the outside. The thing with fungal acne is it is internal & external. Not just external. And basically the vinegar helps create that acid environment on your skin from the inside that won’t allow the fungus to survive, basically suffocating it. Also the most important thing, I know you both are young women, but keep your skin care product line small and simple. More products = more problems. Keep it as simple as you possibly can. And avoid oils and products with polysorbate-20 (like tanning products)
      I also want to add diet can cause flare ups as well. People hate to hear it, but diet plays a factor in some, and for at least while treating it, you MUST minimize or avoid complete foods high in fatty oils/YEAST/sugar... so bread, pasta, rice, junk food etc are HORRIBLE for fungal acne and it’ll feed off that. Ask me how I know lmao... I can first hand vouch for that one. Improved diet = improved skin

    Hey! My derm prescribed me Azelaic acid 20% for my fungal acne. I use it like Cleanser, Azelaic acid, Moisturizer. All my products are fungal acne safe except my sunscreen and recently I found out that my sunscreen is my culprit. So i ditched it. Ordered a FA sunscreen. I wanna ask you TWO QUESTIONS. 1) Would it be fine to use the Azelaic acid wothout the sunscreen for a few days? Like a week or more. 2) Does 20% Azelaic acid help eliminating FA or should I add any exfoliator? Ps: Im indoors always since its lockdown here.

I bought all this for a hope to moisturize my skin but as soon as put these on my skin my skin immediately gets bumps so its been a month I am not using moisturizing and didn’t have any pimple on me 🤷🏼‍♀️ but truly my face feel dry

      Hey babe! You don't necessarily have to if you're not having issues in those areas. Everyone will have a different level of severity to their fungal acne. I do it for my eyes to play things safer- and I do think it's helped them be less irritated in general. However, the lips for me is a MUST as I suffered from crazy eczema /contact dermatitis/cheilitis for so many years. If you want to understand why I promote a full change in products, watch this video!
