His channel is not for the faint of heart or the people with small attention span, his channel is filled with calculated, mathematical, engineering information to make you go real fast, real safe as fast as possible and as compentative as possible. Its insane what goes through this mans mind.

Except people run 700hp with ease on stock SC. All you need is 180mm pulley, cam, headers, full exhaust and a custom tune.

This engine is so under the radar. As you can see it still has life with stock internals 16 years later. Love my e55. Never selling it.
If I remember correctly, the engine grenaded and was rebuilt which spurred the start of this project.
Ya he grenaded the engine due to a failed O-ring on the oil pick up. Then he bought a replacement engine off ebay and guess what? Same problem! so he rebuilt it and was like, might as well rebuild the whole car now while I'm in here. Lmao.
Guess if you have this engine you might want to check that O-ring.

The builder has the best channel. Complete opposite of the typical petrolhead content, he has more actual mechanical engineering skills than most of the wrenches on UA-cam

I wanna see this next year in Build Biology but also have a Super Street feature and be in a SEMA booth at the end of the year. He already has sponsors in AstroTools and Carvajal Motors, and the rest is just exposure. I hope Hoonigan makes his channel blow up, because the guy has an absolute wealth of knowledge that even a lot of "pro" builders don't get right the first time - especially WRT suspension tuning and aero balance, two of the hardest things to get right in any modified car.

Yeap, eurocharged has E55 running 700hp with stock super charger. This guy wasted his money on 2 turbos and got turbo lag in trade

Oh wow! I didn't expect to see this here. I've watched some of this build, this thing is amazing. And it's not like many "garage builds" where the garage is more like a shop, no this dude built this thing in a straight up two car garage with a normal ass mig welder. Fantastic, I love it.

Sticking to your budget and set schedule when you get stuck with a bad functioning spool gun is sometimes more important.

The welds are horrendous, but since they're on an intake manifold it's not actually a big issue...

Literally the ONLY thing on that car that needs to be redone, honestly. But consider this: In less than nine months, he LITERALLY built this thing from the ground up - the first chassis tubes he put together were the main floor tubes -and MIG welded the whole thing instead of TIG welding it. That's welding the aluminum manifold, steering brace, crossmembers, transmission/diff/engine mounting points, suspension pickup points, seat brackets, various brackets and mounts for the fuel cell and electronics, RE-welding the knuckles, and god knows how much else I missed.
He traced all the cutouts by hand, didn't even have a jig, and (forgive the pun) singlehandedly welded some of the crossbracing in the back. Give him pre-cut chromoly, a TIG welder, a real jig, a week of practice, and some proper billet and he could probably redo this chassis ten times better than it already is, with an amazing looking sheetmetal intake as well. Hell, he built a whole damn car in less time than it takes some people to do an engine swap.
How else do you expect anyone to live out their fantasy of re-inacting the "danger to manifold" and "dont blow the welds on the intake" scenes from fast and the furious? Lmao.
That man is a genius engineer. He didn’t miss a thing. I love the car as well. I understand his set up for air flow but the body could use a redesign. I’m sure it’s not done yet tho !

Yeah, the aluminum welder that he has is a little shitty but the steel welds are a lot better.
