I'm really glad she went into more information about rebels. Of the other interviews I have seen they seemed to be left last. I am a rebel and am trying to do alot of self improvement and since it is a small portion it seems not as much talked about.

Larissa Baransky I'm a rebel as well! Progress has been focal knowing what type I am. I've always wondered why I couldn't stay committed to certain habits lol

January1487 Progress is essential! And I feel so bad when I feel like I am failing/behind. I also try to take on too many at once. Ooh also! - I just finished a book called the 4 Disciplines of Execution and it had some super information on forming habits. It simplifies them and spoke to me for other ideas on goal progress and habit forming.

Larissa Baransky I feel pretty awful too and mad at myself because I can't just stick to a schedule. I don't feel so bad, now that I know why. It wasn't laziness per se', it just wasn't how I do things. Have you used the Better app yet? It's on her website. I'll check out the execution book, sounds like something I need.
Overall, what have you learned about yourself as a rebel?

And I also take on too much! I feel like I can take on the world if I put it on a list. Not so much with my rebel brain. Huge disappointment occurs.

I really love you in blue (with those yellow glasses). Together they are perfectly balanced, pleasant, and it just looks 'right'. I would say it's your color. On the subject of COLOR, I, too, notice 'up north' the colors become more and more drab, and the further south and sunny you go, the bright colors become commonplace. .........
-->Texas: Having grown up in Texas, and having moved to...
-->Georgia, I had to tone down my bright 'mexican-inspired' embroidery colors of bright turquoise and bright orange-red, to just a splash of that bright color. Then later on, moving further north up to,...
-->Ohio, even less color. Never a single compliment on any color. Even living in ....
-->mid to northern Oregon I observed less color (although you'd think the west/open minded culture would be brighter.) Note Oregon is overcast. And then living in....
--> western Canada, Vancouver in particular, TOTALLY black and gray. I felt more comfy blending in 'on the streets' with a black purse, gray pants/coat, and occasionally a splash of white :/ lol.
The theory that southerners 'notice' bright colors more, I POSTULATE, is because in the south, (for reasons most probably of the SUN), people appreciate the yellow glasses and the turquoise jewelry MORE than people up north. Add that to the friendlier atmosphere (sun makes us giddy, what can I say), you are going to get more compliments.
...And as for the theory that 'different' colors are "ho-hum" to the NEW YORK CITY region, that seems probably right too. The yellow glasses are just, eh. But still, the uniform in NYC does appear to be more 'black'. Right? Wow what a fun ramble.

No she says in other interviews that it's just part of your personality from birth.
