Good to see you back around here Simon. Good thing that I wanted to check out your video about your opinion on simracing nowadays, since that Clickbait title is a bit too strong from someone who made the WMSC which is now up and running in 2023. I like to try myself out in some new leagues on older games, but not on a professional level. Elite league(an F1 challange championship) was like this but the latest season was full of controversy and corruption by the leader of it. I have seen some aspects on about why, since Bande87 got penalised for a supposed racing incident that he didn't had too much fault in it. Not to mention a guy who deliberatly crashed out 3 of the leaders to change the fate of the race. G4, even though it still have ways to go, is far better in these aspects, since we have fair racing and pretty much fun at this point. The problem was wit the elite league is that they wanted to take it semi professionally, which is not a bad idea, but the constant rule changes and these just kills the concept.
Thank you! Just to clarify: I didn't make the WMSC. It was created by multiple people within IBOS. I was never part of the administration of that championship. Regarding G4 and the Elite Series, I've not had any experiences with either. All I can say is that my online races on both F1 Challenge and rFactor 1 have been…less than ideal.
Yes, I need actual drivers as AI, best case scenario would be a dedicated game for a racing series. Also, have we mentioned the Toxicity in """"Professional"""" simracing
