Great start dude! best wishes to you and Ferdinand!
Thank you! :3
I'd like to draw a comparison to the world of NASCAR if I may: Looking at Dale Jr., he's tried so hard to fill his fathers footsteps in his time at Earnhardt Inc. when really he never could. Only in the latter stages of his career, when neither Earnhardt Inc. was around nor most of the old guard's nostalgia as well as him being the driver of a different team; was he becoming who he is now. Just a fan favorite driver, all around good guy who's done well for himself in his career, won a couple of crown jewel events but has firmly went out of the shadow of the Black No.3 to forge his own legacy. Idk if it's a justified comparison, but it's definitely a similar tale
Just as amazing as the first one, top job my friend :)
Thank you Mr. Corvin!
This is fantastic
Thank you, you're too kind :)
That awesome stuff like a Roleplay F1 season ❤ im new here in this channel 👍🏻
Thank you:3
2018 is the biggest bottle in F1 history. Alonso said it best, once he doesn’t have a dominant car anymore he can prove how good he really is. And he faltered time and time again from 2014 onwards.
Great pacing, didn't waste my time, amazing season to start with, changed Ferdinand's name to Friedrich halfway through, 10/10
Rumors are the Sauber drivers is FURIOUS with media outlets screwing up his name. I wonder how he'll react...
I still Like Longer content though So maybe add qualifying Highlights to the mix and add team radio to the editing as well
Adding Qualifying is probably not possible, but team radio could be a future feature :D☕
Nice video man!

Greetings
this video is not for real fans at all..............sick
Well, to be fair, I never claimed to be doing things for "fans" of...urrgghh, what exactly?
What is "a real fan"? Someone who worships and names their profile after a driver who died 30 years ago, because of the incompetence and shoddy workmanship of a steering column. Not to mention an even shoddier race track that had been resurfaced in one of the fastest and most infamous corners in F1? Williams has the Senna curse, and it ain't going away when poor Carlos gets in the car. I hope he gets put into the Merc seat Pewis Pamilton just bailed on. Ferrari will regret their decision to drop Sainz. But we all know its about the merch and marketing sales increase to Ferrari and Hamiltons portfolios. F1 is a money driven farce these days. Makes me ......sick. At least this @simoncoreboi is MAKING videos about the sport he loves.
While Sebastian Vettel may not have fulfilled the expectations with Ferrari, his stint at the Scuderia wasn't exactly a failure. Fourteen race wins is nothing to be sniffed at (only Schumacher and Lauda have more to their name).
The quality of this video is way beyond the size of the channel. This is great!
Thank you! :3
Clicked just to thumbs down😭 get a job bc youre terrible at making logical videos
The guy lost his mind too easy. So mentally week.
Ngl how did he lose his mind
Yeah that’s why he won 4 championships in a row cos he’s mentally weak got it
@@unlimitedgaming8673 use his car as a weapon at Baku 2017

@@unlimitedgaming8673 …did you even watch the race, and know why Lewis finished behind?
I think this is quite a german-centric version. I grew up in Spain, and I never saw Seb as the new Schumacher nor do I think that was the general perspective there. At the same time, for example it doesn't matter how many races or championships Sainz wins, he'll always have the baggage in Spain of being compared to Alonso, which heavily burdens his legacy there despite being a good driver. So it depends quite a bit on the context. In general I see Seb as a very good driver but not top in history level that probably overachieved at the beginning of his career, which created expectations that hindered him later on.
Very interesting perspective, thank you for sharing! I hadn't considered the Sainz-Alonso comparison as being this much of a hurdle for Carlos, seeing as I'd assumed he *might* be able to position himself better if he were to do multiple championships in a row. My perspective is definitely centered around german media and their portayal of Sebastian. It's what I grew up with and felt like chucking into the discourse. And I do agree that he was a good racing driver who might've "peaked" too early. (hi jacques villeneuve) Then again, he's one of the most succuesful drivers in Grand Prix history. :D
Looking forward to this Simon! With hindsight that Jordan lineup is really strong. Probably two drivers who didn't quite live up to their potential i'd say.
Drama is definitely to be expected...
Oh hello! A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!

A man with painted Finger Nails has any ideas......
dont care pole position better
Agreed. League racing was not ruined by "EA" or "Codemasters" or "Glitches"... but by the drivers and people around being toxic.
I think one factor where the reason so many people got mad was that max stays up late alot and races in the Sim until 3am so many times and yet he manages to win and by alot of margin as well, sure he does get bit*hy over the radio no doubt about it, but in the Hungarian GP the red bull strategy was @$$ and hence he was so mad plus the car had some issues which is alot of the reason he was pissy over the radio
These days I play F1 2012 and 2010 more then the new games, especialy because some of the things in the new games were already in the older games just take out and re added, but done worse, the weather model for the track drying from 2012 is a good exampel of something being taken out and re added or even coop that was introduced and re added (altho that was atleast improoved)
This might come of a bit unrelated, but god damn people need to stop comapring sim racing to real life. I know so many people who only care about winning, paying for setups to be ahead of everyone who just do the same thing anyway in a spec series game realisitc driving ect. ect. Games are ment to be fun and wanting to make it as realistic as possibel insted of fun is what lead to the state of F1 games as they are now, (and EA but thats not my point). People complainig about the model and "Sim Racing Pros" having an influance on the game, now that can be a good thing but imo it causes more trubel then its worth.
Wait, I thought this was a video with multiple thousand views… only 500 that’s crazy, gained yourself a sub
Thank you :3
Well, in my opinion, the major issue with Triple A titles is that Most of the big companies don't really have any more heart and souls poured into the games, but there is ALWAYS exceptions. However, Most of the gaming community already blame companies like EA and Ubisoft because they do such bullshit(Not counting what you mentioned about modern terms capitalism) that enrages the players, and the fanbase itself isn't doing any better either. Hence why I decided to stay in the past when it comes to gaming and league racing and such, and if I try out a game of modern day, I'll usually play indie games because most of those still have that good old heart and soul that Triple A games doesn't have, so I can understand if the big bucks companies get the blames from the others. A good example of a well made indie game is Freedom Planet. I played the second instalation of the franchise last year and I'm more than THrilled by the experience, so much so that, even though I still need to put up an order on what should I play on my computer, I would like to complete the game 3 more times with the other 3 main characters of the game. Motorsportwise there is not too much we can chose from, so I'll rather stay with F1 Challenge, Rfactor 1(G4 is coming up anyways.) and mostly be part of groups where the enviroment is friendly. I can understand what you are trying to bring up here but I can see the downside of modern gaming...and to be frank, I miss the times where none of this were present. You always have to draw a line on what you can and can't do, but most people ignore that fact. Also, you had to include your CIR Home race which came to an end after like, what, 30 meters? Yikes, kinda reminds me on how unlucky I was around my home grand prix that same season, when I decided to retire to make sure the lag doesn't take me out of the race unfairly.
this guy is truly intolerable
The average person often thinks that about others who are correct about what they're saying, know it, and speak with conviction.
@@davis1228 the average person also thinks that about people who are complete morons and have nothing to say too. ill bet by your own standards you find my views intolerable?
What does their race have to do with this??? LMFAOOOO I get it now. Freak
I don't disagree with the take that currently Iracing and other racing games will not be a stepping stone into the big league (though if there is a better simulation out in the future I could see it at least helping people to learn, since it's already been tested that to some extent certain skills learned virtually do translate into the real world). What I will however say is 100% true as a form of criticism from the fans is the British bias, it's annoying af (if you aren't British) to constantly have them wank off any brit who is even remotely successful while also often downplaying drivers from other places.
Stay up all night clubbing nobody bats an eye, stay up all night gaming everyone loses their minds.

pobody's nerfect
You don't get it, sim racing in general is FUCKED. games are full of bugs, connection errors occur WHEN THEY REALLY SHOULDN'T, and the REAL most realistic racing game is motherfucking BEAMNG DRIVE: THE STUPID ASS CAR CRASH GAME
Yeah...to be honest the minute simracing would become competitive for me, it would become a dread. As far as "legitimacy" over the possibilty of becoming a real life racer, it is really slim. A lot of simracers suck ass and don't have the patience and composure to send it to a next level (e.g shitload of screaming crybabies). I ain't claiming to be anything special, I'm more of a "Sunday driver" as simracing goes, but to assume a greater than a miniscule number of racers could make it in real life is laughable. Regarding the Verstappen inchident, it's funny and ridiculous. Shows how many morons spend way too much time on X.
remember me when you become famous
sim racing is just a video the sim community needs to chill out i dont even know how people got the idea that they will be real racecar drivers because a video game and real life have many defenses
why u done has a doggy collar on neck? doggie collar go on doggie neck. your not a doggy hence no doggy collar is meant to be on neck. did you take a doggy collar from a doggy neck? is the a doggy with no collar on doggie neck? he my get loss and be sad cuz he has no collar on doggie neck.
I play IRacing not competitively as I'm awful but with a competitive mindset and I treat it like it's a real race. I think that's its real purpose, non-delusional people recognise just cuz they set a fast lap doesn't mean they're getting a contract into F1 but it's a tool to emulate the feeling of driving a real race car as I probably never will. I want to do engineering at uni so I could get into motorsport but I'll never really be a driver that's why I love IRacing so much and spending £12 per track and £10 per car is fine for me (not really but we ignore that). People that say it's possible aren't delusional either you showed Jimmy who participated in the N24 (more like 7 hours) but that's not because of raw pace that's because he has almost 1 MILLION SUBS. ITS PURE MARKETING! He's rapid on the nords but he's not the fastest but he's a brand, he has value same with Steve they're brands. That's where they're delusional, you cannot get into real racing from sim racing purely on pace, it requires luck (being in the right place at the right time) and fame.
It requires only one thing - money. If you don't have it, you better be special enough for people to be willing to throw some at you.
Sim racing is expensive, but at least it isn’t competitive Yugioh expensive.
As someone who's never played competitive Yu-Gi-Oh...dare I ask...how bad is it?
@@simoncoreboiit cost $1k for a top deck right now. then an extra $1k-$2k a year if you want to stay at the top. Obviously the ceiling is much higher in Sim racing, but a-lot of the money you only have to spend once, and you can go years on the same equipment before upgrading . YGO decks has a short lifespan being at the top, only a few months before you have to go buy another deck core to stay competitive, and by then the price of the old deck has lost most of its value, and will never get the money back that you spent on it. I couldn’t save money playing competitive YGO compared to sim racing, and I’ve spent probably $1500 total on my rig, and equipment.
You know what the funny thing is about the indycar series? It's that I can enjoy it more than F1 nowadays with all the bs and needless drama off track and on social media. Heck, that prompted me to even start watching this season's motoGP and I try to watch all the races as much as I possibly can, and I finally feel that same Excitement that I last time felt durring the 2022 F1 season on certaint races like Silverstone, or Bahrain for example. Nowadays it is mostly about marketing and seeing how the fanbase became toxic, I just decided to simply follow it, and lay low.(I am aware that the feeling is different in real life since when I was out on This Year's Hungarian GP, I enjoyed it quite a fair bit and even wehn somebody asked me on "Who is my favorite driver from the current season and such" They were suprisingly friendly.)
Super underated channel + thumbnails are funny and goofy as hell. Love this channel. ❤❤❤
Thank you! :)
Hey Simon, my sister does need her sunglasses back. Are you done recording with them? ;-) Nice rant. You found my feed.
I bet over the coming years, sim racing is going to bring forth greater talent than all the millions invested in "getting women into F1" will have to show for itself. Not because women are less than equal at the wheel, but because women just can't be bothered, for any amount of money, to treat racing professionally unless they have a rich (somewhat absent?) dad who'll fund their real racing and will show up for their career. If I were rich like Max, I'd start a racing team that recruits from sim racing. Cheap, dedicated drivers who know their place as racing monkey. Or, just cool people.
TBH if you get into sim racing thinking you could be a real life racer one day is for mugs but saying that there are a number of content creators that have made the move to real world racing so not entirely true.
01:47 what has skin colour got to do with any of this , and why do you keep mentioning they are white? that is really odd, FTR yeh sim racing community is effed, but this was just odd
seeing the collar and the nails should be your answer
The majority of Iracers enjoy racing and would rather race a real car if they had the funds. The reason why these people play these sims is because you're paying $12 a month, roughly $14 a car or track. Compared to $30,000 cheap racecar, $12,000 for racing licenses(needed for most solo driving track days), $50 for gas, and also have brakes, tires, and any repairs. You can see why most people stick to racing sims. There are people on these sims, mainly IRacing that believe that they can become the next sim racer to f1 champ. But i rarely encounter them, or they are actually prepping for a race in real life. Most of time when they are prepping is because they've never been there before and want to get use to the layout more than the feel of the car. Not to mention Max has stayed up and sim racing way later than this and won plety of races and no one was criticing him then. David, i think, didn't think what he was saying, but he said it because of drama or something. But to put a blanket of all of sim racing and staying up late was the issue, was an put their claim when it was the pit strategy that sent him over. Didn't hear a peep about off track stuff when Lando was mad about the teams pit strategy over Oscar. In short, it was more that he was upset about the teams strategy, and David said something that was out of left field. Dennis Rodman skipped practice, went to a party, stayed up late, and then won the NBA championship. And had a pretty good game. Some people are built different and Max is where he is because he loves racing, and IRacing scratches that ich for him.
If you go on EA F1 games, you will find some 7y.o. who believes they're the next max lol
And also fully agree with the final point, Max was born in a racing helmet, he can't stop. He has his own team! He knows his limits as he said himself.
freakish garbage
