Real Shit. Usopp pulled Sanji and Zoro out of the fire. Yeah it was only Fishlips, but that one dude was a long range specialist. They would have had massive trouble from him if Usopp didn't pull his aggro
For those curious, Sanji's early named techniques are references to particular cuts of meat, with the location of the strike on the target corresponding to the part of the body the cut of meat comes from. He's likely targeting specific parts of the target's body, wearing them down as if he's preparing them as a meal. We see this expanded later in the series as his precision grows, allowing him to precisely break the facial bones and restructure them to change the target's appearance to Sanji's liking.
Which is funny because most named attacks are literally telling you what kind of attack it is, meanwhile Sanji's attacks are telling you where it will hit.
i dont think Netflix will finish this show, the cast/they all gonna be 50yrs when this show end or Netflix will cut tons, tons of story to make this show going.

Yeah, a number of people seem mad about Garp being in the LA but I feel they kept with Garp's characterization damn near perfect despite how wildly things are changed from the manga. And in a way, it almost makes more sense than the original story.
@@Kanriel i honestly loved they introduced Garp this earlier. Also, is so cool to actually see Koby's character development. I think Oda and the team are taking advantage of the amount of written story to simplifiy things and make some developments more smoother tham the anime (giving the time they have for each season). The amount of nods and easter eggs is insane.
As a die hard one piece fan never would I ever imagined that I would live to see the day that one piece would get an awesome live action series, and yet HERE WE ARE !!! Also big props to Matt Owens and the rest of the crew at Netflick for some of the best casting for live action anime series I've see in years. They hit it out of the park an I hope they continue with that for season 2, they really have to nail Ace, ViVi, Smoker, and ofc the one and only Bon chan !!!!! One of my favorite characters in the whole series and IMO one the best written characters in the series. Lastly these reactors were so good I hope see them back for Alabasta saga in season 2, an who knows we might have some new reactors as well.
Don’t forget about Chopper & Robin. Their castings are going to be the most important for Season 2, & I will be praying for whoever is cast as Robin. We already got people simping over Emily Rudd as Nami but it’s going to be worse for whoever is cast as one of the biggest waifus in anime.

And as for Robin well base on the rumors I saw on Instagram it seem they might have got that character perfect, ofc nothing is official until they start shooting this summer I believe.
Never forget: In the manga Garp is the FIRST person who can punch Luffy and make him go "OW!". Nami was Very confused when she heard him say Ow the first time, because she Can "hurt" Luffy, but he never says Ow. That's how strong Garp is. Even a rubber man will actually be hurt by his punch.

I was a huge fan of the One Piece manga growing up but stopped reading around college (school, life and other series just got in the way and I fell behind on the series). 10+ years later and this show reignited my love for the franchise! Presently catching up on the manga/anime and am eagerly awaiting any news about Season 2. Also have met/am planning to meet the LA's castmembers since the Season ended! I met Emily Rudd (Nami) a few weeks ago at a con and besides being gorgeous she was incredibly sweet and passionate (she liked my Shanks costume and got really excited about a question I asked at a Q&A panel about what she would have liked to have done on the show besides act and she thanked me after the panel) 😃. I've got plans to meet Jeff Ward (Buggy) at another con soon and I heard he's a delight to interact with as well.

This live action was nothing but just satisfying , it was so beautifull , the story was good , the character’s were really well written , the fight scene’s were decent, the emotional moment’s were on point , etc , it was perfect , and Luffy , what else can i say except that he’s a perfect protagonist , his love and loyalty for his friend’s is so beautifull that it can make anybody cry. Season 2 is going to be even more fun , and im pretty sure that they are going to improve the CGI even more.
The CGI definitely needs to be improved for Season 2, especially when what it covers will take the craziness up a notch. As well, they may need it for a certain character who becomes a permanent fixture.

No he didn’t. He stopped her from bringing the money and was probably going too anyway. Even if he didn’t stop her he probably would’ve lied anyway and kept the village under his control.

Arlong's arc was the one that suffered the most in Live Action, many things had to be omitted due to the 2 chapters that only remained and the low budget, knowing the most memorable moments that this story has; Garp and Luffy was an exclusive addition to the series and the final barrel scene was the best, as an apology letter to the Anime/Manga fans. Let's support this project a lot, brothers, so that the next seasons improve a lot, The VFX, combats and duration of the arcs

Well, to be fair, at least half of the Marine knew that Luffy is Garp's grandson (it's not like either of them try to hide it or anything), and Garp, on multiple occasions has given Luffy so much leniency or at least gave him a head start purely on the basis that he is his grandson, it's just the Marines and WG can't really do shit about it cause Garp is still their #1 asset lol

The fact that he'd technically kept his promise actually makes it worse than if he had lied.
No he didn’t. He stopped her from bringing the money and was probably going too anyway. Even if he didn’t stop her he probably would’ve lied anyway and kept the village under his control.

In the manga & anime, Nami actually confronts him about it & he easily dismisses it as bad luck on her part since she has no proof that he told Nezumi about the money.

Arlong's arc was the one that suffered the most in Live Action, many things had to be omitted due to the 2 chapters that only remained and the low budget, knowing the most memorable moments that this story has; Garp and Luffy was an exclusive addition to the series and the final barrel scene was the best, as an apology letter to the Anime/Manga fans.
Let's support this project a lot, brothers, so that the next seasons improve a lot, The VFX, combats and duration of the arcs
Honestly they managed to cram in most of what worked from the manga and anime and also added some stuff

Well, to be fair, at least half of the Marine knew that Luffy is Garp's grandson (it's not like either of them try to hide it or anything), and Garp, on multiple occasions has given Luffy so much leniency or at least gave him a head start purely on the basis that he is his grandson, it's just the Marines and WG can't really do shit about it cause Garp is still their #1 asset lol
