Guys it's absolutely beautiful to see how you, brothers, get on so well and that you share so much excellent knowledge on training style. Hello from Ireland ❤
GG! Thanks so much for this video. It is motivating seeing the progress and not just the already practiced result. These are some real goals for me, but going through pt still
So heartening to see a strong person struggling with new skills. Also shows me I'm only 10 pull ups away from a muscle up 😆 I'm hoping to get my first pull up by the first half of the year and then maybe a muscle up by year's end 🤞🏼 As always, thanks for another great video 😊
Same here. The ring muscle up allows you to move the rings to the side of your body so in essence it's a bit easier (besides that pesky false grip) The slow muscle up combines the bar and the false grip... thats a fun one :)
Love it when you are both in the video and do that sort of live teaching. 😄 really cool. Thanks for the tips, very helpful. 🙏 Oh and yes, please show us the slow version.
good tutorial. i can do 8 clean pullups; can't do a muscleup. the ceiling height in my basement makes it impossible to do one, but i've been working on the ring version. i'm glad you outted trevor on his strength (even though he didn't appreciate it). it helps demonstrate that the skill is attainable for many of us.
Great to see someone who’s strong and fit learn and struggle during the learning process. Normalises this process in our heads, so when were in the park having a go we remember the technique and small steps and not dwell on “the failure”. 🙏🏼
Nice video i can do some muscle ups. But you really need to show me how to do the slow ones. That is cool !! I can't do a fasle grip yet with my wrist :(
That's the exact video i wanted, not from the beginner perspective but somewhere where i can do high pull and still can't muscle up. Thank you very much Josh. Big up🙌🏻
Imagine a piano just in front of the bar at your feet and you push the keys every time you go down. Thats how i learned. Thanks for all your tutorials bro ☺️🙏
You are right. It makes sense too, correct technique = efficient movement = more reps = full muscle thickness worked = more thorough hyperplasia more upped the skeletal muscles.
Slow muscle up!!!! There’s a point where I could easily do 20 pull ups & dips but never a muscle up. I really don’t get the grip part of it since I hold on tight to the bar…please elaborate. Thank you!!!!
I’m still struggling to get the muscles up without using my knees to give me momentum. Watching your video today is motivating me to correct that issue. Thank you. ✊🏾

Trevor doing a muscle up on his first day...wow!
Glad to see a “pro” like Trevor work through the activity. Also watching the fine tune steps to achieve the goal. Excellent effort Trevor!
Glad you enjoyed it!

for me learning the muscle up was easier on the rings, but i still need to work on form, thanks for the vid bro!

Big up🙌🏻
Very good video !you re a very good teacher!!
I think in your videos you should explain to people that body waight can be a massive factor in these exercises great work 👏 👍
Chris Heria does amazing calisthenics training. I'd love a bar like the one shown...no room at the inn at mine for one....
Nice video. Want to try this but first need a pull-up bar. 😊
Trevor, you're doing great! Don't mind the guy with the beard 😉. You have perseverance & humor, keep it up 👍 (you're super strong to me)
Thank you thank you!!!! I will get this skill
you got it!

for sure! slow muscle up is one of my favorites
You inspired me! Gonna go to the park and see if I can
how'd it go?
@@Strengthside Didn't work. I think it's because I need more strength. Anyway I will continue trying
@@thedodo757 focus on the explosive pullups below the chest!
@@Strengthside Okay 😃
This at least just bumped pull ups up on my priority list for 2022
I wish I lived in a town with a calisthenics park
Same, at least there are some decent regular parks around me though
@@samuraibobafett1118 same, it's just hard to find a time to go when it's not inundated with children.
same here. But just some monkey bars do the trick
7:11 mans in right vibing
I love watching people do their first muscle up
The wrist moved up tip is gold.
it's a super subtle one but def plays a hige role in the muscle up
You are right. It makes sense too, correct technique = efficient movement = more reps = full muscle thickness worked = more thorough hyperplasia more upped the skeletal muscles.
@@CN-dv9nj correct! let's go get it
@@Strengthside I'm with that!!! Visualizing the technique steps and looking for overhead bar.
can you please make any video for Truckers
Didn't know you were a fellow storror fan!

Slow muscle up Tuto please!!🙏
more muscle up content coming your way very soon!
Just got my first!!!
What’s the song called in the video?
That was a good one. I've never be able to do this , now ill try your technique. I can do 15 clean pull ups . Thank you 👍
You have the strength bro! Go for it!
let us know if you get it!
Should be enough. 8-10 are recommanded
@@Strengthside i will let you know for sure . Waiting for better whether to work out outside. Winnipeg, Canada , - 25° outdoors so far.
It was so fun wow 😛
The perma honk😂
haha constant
Still struggle on transition phase of that movement......
can definitely take a while. But it will come if you keep going
you guys are so fun to learn from. Let's see that slow!
Slow muscle up!!!! There’s a point where I could easily do 20 pull ups & dips but never a muscle up. I really don’t get the grip part of it since I hold on tight to the bar…please elaborate. Thank you!!!!
for sure. The grip is slightly different. Bassically you're wrist/hand just needs to lightly rotate to be on top of the bar
👍👍😊
I seen a solid bar bell d.i.y. project with heavy bolts n nuts etc and 2x4, 2x6 construction. It was on instagram or YT. Any danger?
Slow muscle-up, please! :)
More muscle Up content coming soon :)
