Thank you for posting this priceless video. It brings me to tears. I saw him perform many times in 50 years.
Geroge from the Netherlands, thank you for recording that. 11 months before his death. He sounded philosophical when he spoke about why he still played despite his age. He needed an audience to share his music with. He did. Yhanks George and thanks Steve Harley for this your songs especially, Make Me Smile. So many good and nostalgic memories.
Absolutely, my thoughts too. He made us happy.
I agree
Somebody called him Sebastian.....
Sheer bloody poetry
Bedankt voor je geweldige songs
Played at my mum's funeral, RIP Mr Harley always been a fan.
The very first concert I ever went to in Birmingham in 1976! Grew up with this distinctive sound and the likes of David Bowie ... how blessed we were. RIP Steve Harley.
Great song, loved it when it came out. I was a young teenager then.
Me too ! They are playing in Stroud Subscription Rooms so I'm hoping to go !!!
Rip. Love his music
I'm a bit of a heavy metal rock head.... but THIS is 1 of the most uplifting songs ever made.
Thanks Steve x
Strange to see people write that here when it is one of the bitterest songs ever written. It's anything but uplifting.
@@egbront1506 i think it was a dislike for the ex members of cockney rebel, the construction of the song and the harmonies and chords etc i find ( as many others do) find it rather uplifting.
Thanks for posting this. Steve Harley still sounds great. It would be nice if he ever toured the USA.

RIP Steve Harley ✌️
RIP Steve!
If you're going to write one song that then it doesn't get much better than this but Steve Harley wrote lots of other great songs too. Mr Soft, Judy Teen, All The Men Are Hungry, Sebastian, Love's A Prima Donna, Tumbling Down. A great and underrated talent.
Death Trip would be the icing on the Cockney Rebel cake!!
RIP Stevie x
Unbelievable how fast man can pass away.
So he is entertaining so he is gone 😢
Wonderful these moments were captured - so poignant 😔

Who knows? Maybe your fans will come up and see you wherever you are and make you smile some day. R.I.P.
Rust zacht Steve.
Apparently Prince wrote this song about his house keeper leaving
He was God in our teenage years. Now God is dead. Rip Steve !
Remember when black or white ame out and radio 1 banned it for racial comment man knew something even then rip
I remember he did this on top of the pops an he forgot the lyrics. Brilliant man luv him
I just watched that one today 👍
I just watched that one today 👍
Yes to prove it was live unlike most bands and singers actually
This was only last year, like Jeff Beck, I realise how it all hangs on a thin thread
What? I didn't know 😢
RIP Steve
