steve harley and cockney rebel. so sad that he died. i liked him verry much his group his music. i always had the feeling he was a different man.when he was in his thirtys nicer more humble loved his music. his legacy will never die. rest in peace.
I can't believe its taken me two years to find this, I first saw Cockney Rebel in 74 in Stretford on a very wet Monday night and I've seen Steve almost every year since, so glad the break was amicable.
These interviews with Steve Harley are bits.... of tings..... I ....in the one he talks about little Kieth Richards....throwing a knife at him, he talks about getting the Human Managarie....album.....which has an orchestra...on it. But has no explanation of......how....he got it ,from nuffin , " l was doing acid for six months , busking......"
I think he had a transplant, I might be wrong but I saw him in the 80s looking like Roger DeCoursey and ever since then he's had hair, great artist though.
This is heart-breaking, so lovely friends.

When Steve passed I was devastated I tried not to cry but I did
One of the best, and most underrated guitarists this country's ever produced. Steve - top bloke of course, as we all know 😉

I think some people are indespensable. There is only one of us. We are so unique theres not another one of us anywhere in the world.

Dorothy must be ; Best Years Of Our Lives ....😔 ( I answer these questions myself .....)
Cregan's a beast on guitar...analogous to Waddy Wachtel.
Too short ... it was GREAT. I could have listened another hour ... or more.
I wondering what' cancer he died of so fastly? Just a few months and he was gone, that's unbelieveable!!! //R.
Jim, did you play with Rod Stewart on Atlantic Crossing....?
Has Steve got a syrup on ?
If you look at vids of him late 70s and early 80s you’ll know the answer.

I can imagine his massive ego would have been problematic... hard to take direction lol
