- Опубліковано 18 тра 2020
- First in a series. After Marta and I had so much fun doing "No Excuses", I invited my buds Dave McClain (Sacred Reich/Machine Head), Richie Faulkner (Judas Preist), Mike Inez (Alice in Chains, Ozzy, BLS, pretty much every band) and resident Bad-Ass Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) to jam on one of my favorite tunes by one of my favorite bands Mixed by Paul Fig, Vid edit by Todd Shuss. More "Collab-A-Jams" coming and look for a guest-oriented Guitar breakdown and play-through show coming as soon as the Shelter in Place rules allow.
RIP Phil Lynott. The coolest and most awesome storyteller that ever lived.
Amen!
Amen
Richie Faulkner hoarding Marshalls like it's his job 😂👍
Chewin' gum and kickin' ass.
Channelling Schenker!!!!!
Isn't it?
Thin Lizzy is such a great band and so underrated. This is one of my favorite songs and this cover was pretty killer!
How are they underrated? they are widely recognised and praised by fans and critics alike.
@@lizardz23 But they never got the commercial success they deserved, especially in North America.
No (rock/metal) record collection without Live and Dangerous can be considered complete...
TheVsign Very underrated. Compared to their peers they have never gotten half of the recognition bands that were around the same time have gotten. Obviously they are know for Boys are back in town, but this album and Black Rose are masterpieces that should be revered as some of rock’s best.
Not underrated in my book, damn good!!
The Rock Injection we've been needing.
Only Richie Faulkner could chew gum and rip the guitar at the same time
And be the son-in-law of George Lynch
This song first came out when 3 of these people were kids.
This is fantastic! Love the collaborations!
As a Lizzy Fan this is excellent, well done to everyone involved 👍👏👏👏🎸
Lzzy*
@@tduassassin Thin Lzzy? ;-)
@@motleyhoople3657 exactly... And at 5'9" 125ish she's pretty thin
Hale kills it, sexy too
Excellent... 👏
Great Jam!!!

"Like" is not strong enough. This was fantastic. The scream at the ends is the frosting to an already delicious cake.
You ain't kidding. That last note was ridiculous.

Damn!
🤘
Jeeezzz!!!
This is killer !

Basic Christian Mom, Tami
So true🥁🎻🎸🤘🤘🤘☘
AWESOME!!
This is SO good!!!!!
Sensacional!
Excellent version with great performances. Fantastic to hear Lizzy still being honoured after all these years. The Bad Reputation tour was the first concert I ever went to back in 77 so this one means a lot to me as well.
That was badass Phil! Stay safe✌🏼
Hell Yeah! Brilliant!
That was bloody ridiculously awesome. As a long time Thin Lizzy fan, well done!
Muy bueno!!!
That was Bad Ass. One of my favorite Lizzy songs.
That was fantastic! Thanks. Would love to see and hear more
Excellent!
You handled the vocals well and did this song justice!
Wow! Awsome! Lzzy, no words can tell how I love your voice. Incredible both guitars and so amazing drums.
Waiting for more jams!
Greetings from Spain, stay strong and well everyone

Man I felt this! The Phil Lynott statue placement was perfect too!
Lynott's statue at Mike's studio
Fantastic version Phil. What a breathtaking guitar duel, amazing! Stay safe and keep on rocking!!
Fantastic people covering a fantastic song!!! It couldn't be better!!
Philo would be so proud of this!
We know Scott and Brian are, as they posted this on their social media profiles, and it’s obvious Robbo should be aswell.
Keep this good work commin’! 🤟🏽
There’s not many Thin Lizzy covers that I’ll give a moment for, but this rocks. I’m a Lizzy Hale fan anyway (and she always nails it!) but the guitar duelling made this for me. Excellent!!
Holy crap!
March Lowe
Lizzy tastic 🤘☘
On fire!! Thanks for the cover 🌸🌼
Epic cover. Well done!!!
This is not only the best jam released during the pandemic it simply kicks assss
Wow! This sounds so natural and good, as opposite to the overproduced, sterile, brick-walled, "loudness war" production that we hear on most modern albums. Well done guys!
That's great!
bad ass!
Bloody awesome on all levels!
Thin LZZY :D Amazing, guys!!!
First, excellent rendition. Two of my favorite musicians Phil and Dave. Them being gone is the reason Machine Head is a shell of what it was. Finally, We see once again the great Tom Hanks taking on another role playing bass....
Mike Inez = Tom Hanks! 🤣
You nail it!!!
Holy shit that was freaking amazing
Sounds amazing. Everyone crushed it.
That NEVER gets old.....The FIRST....And without question....THE BEST💥💯🤘🤟👍👈💪🙏
Goddamn dude.. This is officially my favorite version of this song.
Fantastic version AND WITH A PROPER ENDING!!!!
Love this tune. You guys rocked it hard 👍🎶🖤
Once this over, you should all put a project together! I'd buy it!
Incredible. Insane guitars at the end. Great vocals too.
This is an amazing cover. I love it!
Badass!!!🤘🔥
That was f..ng Philnominal!!!!
How good is this .....
Outstanding! Mr. Lynott would’ve been very proud.
That is killer!!!!! What a cast of players! Rock on!
This might be the best Thin Lizzy cover I've ever heard by anybody. If you done a set of covers and called yourselves Thin Lzzy I would be all about it. You done Philo proud. Awesome job. Love from Cork, Ireland \m/ \m/
Bad ass. Can't wait for the next one
Very cool!
Excellent!
This is so Rocking me to pieces and makes my hairs stand on It’s ends , you all are really out there👍🏾
Super!
😷👍 great cover from a great band.

Absolute top class ! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great cover. Excellent job.
Awesome! I feel like I just took a shot of adrenaline! Wow!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
excellent
Good laaawwwddd that was good!!!
This is mad.....My old mate suggested this on FB a while ago but only found it tonight AFTER playing Bad Reputation Album all evening!!!! Coincidence? No it was meant to be......awesome version of a great song
Thin Lizzy is my all-time favorite band, and Halestorm is for sure in my top 10...having said that I absolutely love this cover. Thin Lizzy is overlooked in my opinion, and Lzzy Hale is a vocal superstar,I've watched this video at least 40 times and it never gets old
Lady (@Lzzyhale) and Gentlemen, Ms. Philomena, Phil, Gary (from above) and the 'Boys' are very proud! Outstanding performance and keeping the Lizzy Life/Live Alive! @mikeinez you have a replica of the Dublin Phil statue? Too cool! Saw the real one in Dublin at the 20th Vibe for Philo celebration, met Ms. Philomena (so nice), and laid a token at Phil's grave as well. @richiefaulkner...couldn't tell what amps/stacks you were using...maybe we can see in Collab-A-Jam #2 (ha!). @davemclain and @phildemmel, outstanding performance! Thanks for the Metal! From a fan and retiring Soldier! Up the Irons! Lance
That was bad ass
I love it! Great job-I'm a Lizzy fan since my late 70's high school days. I miss Lizzy and Phil a lot-always in the rotation at my place. I think if Phil were around today he would feel good to see what I think is an ever growing recognition of their work here in the good ole USA. I'll tell ya a funny Lizzy story if you got a sec. I was student aide or whatever in Auto Shop as a senior in '79. So there's this dude that wants to put some side-draft Webers on his Corolla (of all things) so I I'm helping him install and set em up and he's pretty cool so we're having fun. We get er together and do a little tuning and it's time for a test run. Run's good-def improvement-esp sound. So I follow him home in my '68 Charger just in case. We get there, he says "ya wanna beer? Sure. Among the other talk he tells me he's Iranian. In 1979... Now, I was about due to sign up for selective service and pissed off like everybody about these damned Iranians taking our people hostage and thinking a bunch of us guys are gonna be eatin' sand real soon. But I ain't sayin' nothin' bad-he didn't do it. I''m just drinking a beer while he grabs a record and starts saying "Dude, you got check this album out-this is a great band!" Guess what he puts on? He puts on "Live and Dangerous". And I mean, I'm floored-that's what's on my turntable at home. Whoda thunkit? Lost contact before long, but cool dude. Good lesson-everyone's an individual. Thanks for the cool cover-Phil's smilin' somewhere.
The way Richie shredding is very clear and clean 🤟🤟
Super super super cover...love the Philo statue sitting in the room watching on...🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😂
Top notch!!!
PHIL... killer cover my friend, hope you are well buddy
Awesome cover!! I am assuming that is Dave McClain on the drums. Dude is a beast!! He deserves more recognition. Sacred Reich!!
awesome!
Love the vocals on this Lzzy. And the dual guitar leads are awesome. Great to see Richie and Mike in there trading ideas. Mike looking very happy and confident. And a power performance from Dave. Not to mention the fact that it's a great song!
