Do you ever link single techniques into combinations? I practice baji (武壇八極) and we practice 單式 and 套路. In 六大開, we do practice some short combinations.
Totally agree about the essence of single movements. Besides those zhan zhuang is also mandatory. Without stance training you will never be able to get full body movement ( dantian should be connected to fingers).
@@bajiquan.online I saw that in Hangzhou also by other masters and their students. I still don't understand why people take their complete foot from the ground to stomp, it's just a flat sound. The deep longer sound after spending time practicing the correct way is much nicer.

The stomp from sliding toes over the ground and drop the weight down on your heel while you connect the punch at the same time when you slide your heel to the outside is the one I was talking about :). BTW, body condition is l also very important. Should be in the top 3 ( zhan zhuang, body condition and single movements)
