First of all, it is beautiful how much this master seems to enjoy the pracitce of his art!
    Constantly smiling, constantly moving- wonderful.
Second I want to say, that it is clearly visible how much fajing power he is producing, while flowing without a break.
From what I could observe, it seems like the BaJi practicioners generally tend to be very serious & honest about their practice.

Relaxation also increases the rate of acceleration, which would increase the power as in whipping motion. This teacher knows what he is talking about. The conversation of energy is applied in this internal martial art.👍👏🙏👌 Relaxation also increases your spontaneity.

Very true. You see many practitioners being rigid, but we should remain loose and soft, only becoming hard upon contact like the end of whip or an iron ball at the end of a chain.

Thank you for posting. I am a disciple of Master James Rodgers, disciple of Grandmaster Yang Shu Ton, disciple of Grandmaster Liu Yun Qiao. I’m always amazed how the Baji systems can change, or maybe evolve, & adapt yet still remain true to its core principles. It’s true when we first started training we were very rigid, & stiff. Those that progressed came to realize the true explosive power of Baji comes from being relaxed. The part about the mind also being relaxed is a great reminder too. Not only for martial training, but life as a whole. Thanks again for posting!

Very educational! It's interesting to hear the liudakai described as six conceptual ways of generating power, and the neigong or internal elements of Bajiquan, as this is seldom explained or talked about! Thank you for sharing! 🙂

I don’t know anything about Martial Arts that’s why these videos are really good and help to understand the different styles better. I could listen to masters like this for hours. He explained it very well. ✨

Fascinating...this is part of why I not only hope to return to Baji training one day, but also to learn (and perhaps master) Pigua as well. I was learning Huo family Baji for a little while, but had to move on for personal and financial concerns. I miss it daily, but finding another teacher near me has been a major struggle. Hopefully I'll have a breakthrough very soon. Thanks for providing this motivation!
Edit: a BIG difference I noticed between styles is the Ba Da Kai in Huo family Baji, instead of the native Liu Da Kai in every other family. Seeing this brought that to mind as well

Ever noticed that all these "masters" tend to look at the floor and their feet during execution of the style? Aren't they used to look at their opponent, in order to know where the opponent even is?
I'm not going to say Bajiquan or any of these styles don't work in combat, but I have to point out that all these so called "masters" have probably never fought in their lives. These styles were created out of NEED to protect oneself. These days, the only need these people have to use them is to make money showing off skills they never really used.
    My advice is this:
dark days are coming, starting from places like Europe. So make sure you learn 10 good techniques, it doesn't matter from which style, as long as you have tested them enough to know you'd be able to use them under strong stress and when you're scared for your safety or life. Learn them well, make them part of your DNA if you have to. Imprint them in your mind.
It doesn't matter if it's Baji, Piqua, Taekwondo or Karate (Krav Maga is futile so don't even waste your time unless you want to imitate Master Ken). AS LONG as it works for you.

  • @IPFC

He doesn't know a damn thing about bullets! He needs to try his crap in Chicago's South Side or in East L.A., and he will learn what Bruce Lee meant by "classical mess," the only sensible thing Lee, the media creation, ever said about kung-fu. Nowadays, there are many of these self-proclaimed "masters" who have never even once been in a fight, who have never tested their abilities, but they have endless talking chi (qi). You will never see the very few real masters making little UA-cam videos, and they will never show outsiders anything, the way an NFL coach won't waste their time coaching middle-school players.
