    虎抱頭真的是非常實用進攻帶防禦頭部的功能,可以防又可以頂肘,與對手產生一個近身三角防禦區,當初設計者這套路的人真的是實用主義至上

    Great explanation WuTan NJ - as i have only completed the XiaoBaji form the initial sinking and opening move from DaBaji as you demonstrate above is at the very end - it is also the posture 'symbol' that is embroidered on our training trousers in the UK Wutan school so presumably seen as 'primary' by GM Lieu? Your explanation of the 'sinking and expanding' of the body and mind/intention is helpful Would you be able to give a demonstration of its application at some point please?

    • @wutan_nj
      @wutan_nj  3 роки тому

      You mean the ending move of XiaoBaji? Or the opening move of Da Baji? Or you mean Tiao Da Ding Zhou?

      @@wutan_nj I dont know (embarrassingly) the chinese names - in th Xiao form i guess it would be the 'closing elbow move' - where we sink the knees together and expand with the left elbow while gazing at the open right fist - seems to be the opening 'sink and expand' for Da as demonstrated by you at the beginning of this

      @@wutan_nj I guess he is talking about "起式"(the starting move of Da BaJi). I recall the ending move of Xiao Baji is almost same as the starting move of Da Baji.

      @@garyfinch8267 What's being demonstrated in this video is one of the applications for Xiao Baji's closing move as well. I'll put it in as part II in the next couple of weeks.

But will have a new class open for registration in early 2023. Email BajiShu if you are interested to receive notification email when the online class is open.

    Hello Vincent Sifu Would like to clarify the kung fu Bajiquan is it from China or are collected countries Korea, Japan?
    Is Bajiquan better than wing chun or karate in fighting and techniques?

    • @wutan_nj
      @wutan_nj  2 роки тому

      China is a very old country/culture. People throughout history migrated around and do trades between countries… therefore culinary, arts, architecture, fashion, weapons, and Chinese martial arts got spread around to nearby countries. Japanese Karate came from FuJian province’s White Crane. Then during the war Japanese occupied Korea, Karate got spread to Korea and became TaeKwonDo… there are other traditional Korean martial arts that came from China a long time ago. Even Japan’s Sumo wrestling came from China during the Tang Dynasty.
      Bajiquan is an old Chinese martial arts dated back to prior to Ming Dynasty. Some said it came from the Chinese Muslim community, but I believe just like I said above, martial arts gets passed around by people, so at some point in history, a Chinese Muslim was taught Bajiquan and that became spread and pass down amongst the Muslims tribes. (Because there’s no trace of Bajiquan or XinYiLiuHe found in the Middle East!)

    師父我教你喔!你腳沒抬高點在往下頓力才是八極精髓,而不是只靠平行衝力!武術套路是死的腦是活用的才能無招勝有招!

    • @wutan_nj
      @wutan_nj  2 роки тому +3

      八極拳不是靠大力抬腿下頓造成反作用力在發勁,而是以舉手投足便要能產生你所說的下頓力。至於如何舉手投足便能有沈墜勁,你再練幾年再來聊拳。
