What a beautiful lady and pantry! You shame most of us; you truly are self sufficient! It reminds me of a true General Store… So many recipes and meals! It will be exciting to see what you come up with! Watching you, makes me smile! You are just precious! You take care of yourself and thank you for including us in your lives. Hugs from Ohio
You’re so sweet! Thanks for the Ohio hugs! 💜
I love your basement pantry. We are putting our basement pantry together right now for the first time in my life. I have a basement and we’ve set aside a portion of that for our extended pantry. I’m excited I found your channel.😊
Thank you so much and welcome 💜 It’s not a pretty “Pinterest” pantry but I don’t care 😉 I’m very happy and grateful to have it! I’m sure you’ll enjoy all the space you’ll have and will have it filled up in no time!
Was sitting here trying to find something to watch and you came across my screen. Told my husband...look there called the two of us,they are just like us. Started watching and you commented about Frank always going down to get things out of the pantry...my hubby does that for me, my hubby also goes through lots of ketchup 😅I looked at him and said I feel like I am watching a show about us! Subscribed! By the way I love your pantry!🌻
That is so funny! Glad you found us and I hope you enjoy the videos
Very nice pantry ☺ Thanks for taking us on a tour. It's so great to be able to walk into your own grocery store ♥
Thanks! It sure is, we usually take a reusable grocery bag and go “shopping” downstairs just like a store but waaay better 😉
What a lovely pantry.
For tomato 🍅 juice, you can use it to cook rice in. Also, it can be a base for soups, stews, and chilis. Or cook meat in it. Or cook dried beans in. Lots of delicious ways to use your tomato 🍅 juice.
You are so sweet, thanks for the tips! 🍅
(I love the bean idea)
You DO have a beautiful pantry. Go Canada!!!
I love your pantry watching from the UK Happy NewYear xxx
Thank you 💜 Happy New Year to you too 🎉
First time here! Loving your pantry tour. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much and welcome to our homestead 💜
So great to see you in the pantry again, lots of eye candy in there! Frank is the french fry King 😂 You look lovely today, I hope you continue to improve as you get ready for garden planning season, I'm getting ready to order seeds soon, I'm trying the Ajvarski this year and wil be doing them roasted for sure!!! continuing prayers for you ❤
Thank you Carmen 💜 I had to really psych myself up but once I got going it felt good 🥰 Frank ate so many fries while he was making them today he doesn’t even want supper 🤣 I know you’re going to love the Ajvarski and I’m drooling all over the catalogs 😂
So happy your video popped up for my first time. My husband and live in the country and can too. Happy to see a couple our age homesteading❤❤❤
Thanks! We love homesteading life and we're so glad you're here!
💕💕💕New Brunswick here !!!
Thanks 💜
i love your pantry, it has great strong shelves, well organized, it's perfect! You are doing a great job with your canning! Thx for your tip re zinc, i will watch that video.
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m glad you liked the tour and found the zinc tip helpful!
You look amazing. I hope you are feeling better!! Your pantry is beautiful!!
Thank you so much, I'm feeling a lot better every day! 🙏🏻
So good to see you looking happy and healthy again ❤ your pantry is awesome, alot of time and love has gone into filling that! Please continue to rest up as much as you can! 😊
Thank you Trisha 💜 I’m feeling pretty good 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I stoped using salad dressing years ago and vinegar is a neurotoxin so I stopped making oil & vinegar salad dressing too… but I love salad so when I chop tomatoes … I use the juice& mix it with salt & herbs & it’s my favourite salad dressing now !!!
Jennifer, I love that idea!!! Thanks for sharing 💜
No, vinegar is not a neurotoxin, it is neuroprotective. It could be toxic if ingested where the acetic acid is highly concentrated, but commercially produced vinegars are diluted to only 5-7%.
Anyways, if you enjoy a bit of tanginess is your dressings, consider citrus. Olive oil, lemon, salt & pepper is great, or get creative with avocado oil, orange juice & mustard.
I don’t like canned beets but do like pickled beets. This year I made seedy beet crackers from a book titled “Freeze Fresh “ by Crystal Schmidt. She uses frozen beets but I used my canned beets. They are so good that I am going to can more beets tomorrow. I am trying to avoid putting more in my freezer.
I have that book!!! I’m definitely going to look into that for this seasons crop. Thanks for sharing 💜
Hey! I love your pantry, and I think it's beautiful! I am so jealous. During the flu, the thrift stores were charging 10 dollars per quart jar. Talk about gouging. I love pickled beets and your green beans are gorgeous. I'd be in potato heaven with all of those potatoes ... lol. Thank you so much for the tour, I had a great time.
Thanks Anna 💜 That’s despicable..anything to do with food/preserving and gouging makes my blood boil! I’m so happy you liked the tour ☺️
It is nice to see you again!!
You are looking good!
Thank you for sharing your pantry with us. It is awesome!!
You’re so sweet, thanks for watching! 💜
Thanks!
Oh my goodness Debra 💜💜💜 Thank you so much!!! I am so touched by your generosity. Your continued support me is sincerely appreciated. Wishing you a Happy, Healthy and Blessed 2025 🎉🥰

Beautiful pantry, Wow he does love French fries I remember how much French fries you did ! You convinced me I’m going to find your ketchup recipe and try it. If you’re not too busy what is your measurements on your pickle beets . Love your square canning jars. Lovely pantry !👧🏻
Thank you Lyn 💜 I’m never too busy for you 😉 I’m not quite sure what you mean by measurements for the beets so I’ll link the video here. If you have any questions please ask 😀

Not the biggest pantry I have seen but I like that. It looks great and what you have is very versatile and easy to use so keep on being proud. You have accomplished so much this year! We also love just how down to earth you are.
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! 🥰
I like that you ingrediant can. It allows us to make anything we want. Well done. Quick hint. when serving a CROWD do a combination of canned and frozen. I had to do that with my green beans and corn.
That’s a great tip, thanks for sharing Brenda! I never thought of doing that.
The tomato juice is also very good for stew or veggie soup. My grandmother used it for beef stew . Soooo yummy .
Thanks for sharing, Lori I’m definitely going to try that! 💜
Looking forward to coleslaw and three bean videos? Beautiful pantry!
Thank you 💜 I have a bean salad video that I linked in the description and I’m excited to share the coleslaw recipe!

Hi, I’m just knew here. Nice to see folks my age and living this life still. We are getting ready to move into a more remote area on 70 acres, so pretty excited about building a new cold room and pantry. Looking forward to watching your videos, 🇨🇦🌷
That's so exciting, good luck with the move! 🎉 Welcome 🤗, we are so glad you joined us 💜
If you like pear stuff, you should try making pear sauce. You make it like applesauce and it is wonderful.
I've never thought of making pear sauce, I'll have to give that a try! Thanks for the tip 😊
Tomato juice would make really good broth, just on its own or add vegetable scraps, you could also use it to cook dry beans, split peas, lentils or grains like rice, maybe even try making a tomato flavored bread
Ooh, I'm going to have to try that! Thanks for the tips! 🍅
I hope you’re feeling better and giving yourself grace. You’ve been on my mind!!! Happy New Year 🎊
You are so sweet Patty, thank you for thinking of me! 💜 Happy New Year 🎉

Add your tomato juice when you make rice.
I’ve never thought of that before! I’m going to have to try that next time! Thanks
I use my tomatoe Juice for my spanish rice. That way I don't throw it out. Well I used to because I Just moved to Mexico and here I don't have anything canned, but hopefully soon and I will share that recipe on my UA-cam channel
I’m going to try that thank you 💜 Wow Mexico, will you be able to grow year round? What is the name of your UA-cam channel, I’d love to follow your journey ☺️
@JustTheTwoOfUsHomestead yes I will gets cold but doesn't freeze. I am excited to grow my garden. My channel is called LITTLE BLUE HOUSE FARM IN MEXICO
My family uses the tomato juice for soup base, chili base or we use it when making sloppy joes.
@wendyslaby3373 yummy
@@JustTheTwoOfUsHomestead some times I use tomato juice when I make a big patch of chili
Love it, do you have plans of how the shelves were built?😊
Thanks! No plans..some of the shelves were already here when we moved in. Frank added more and reinforced what was there, he just did everything in place
New sub! Great pantry!
Thank you and welcome to the homestead 💜
Thanks for your tour ❤ I'm in Quebec too and I'm curious about where you buy from the Amish?
Thank you 💜 It’s called Martin’s in Brushton, New York, about 10 km west of Malone
Check on Facebook..Martin’s Country Store of Brushton. I buy most of my meat in bulk from them as well
