This video demonstrates how to create hard rock/metal riffs, and how to develop them with the drum groove. THE tuning I used here is drop D, although you can find both drop D and drop C versions of the guitar pro file on the link below:

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know, I'll be glad to answer. Cheers.
This actually sounds pretty badass and it's basically just power chords and single notes.

4 years late to the party, but glad I found this! I have been wanting to mess around in drop d, and this is the perfect starting point! Cheers!
I’ve been reluctant to learn Drop D. Not anymore. Oh it’s time to rip shit up. Cause this rocks.
Thanks for this video. It has opened new doors for my rythm playing.
Good to hear mate, just carrying the knowledge further. Cheers
Still a beginner here at 35 years old. I'll give this a run when I get closer to that level.

Hi Jesus, thanks, I'm glad you like it. I have many lessons on my channel, feel free to browse and subcribe, new coming out every week.
Regarding GP file, it's valid. Not sure what you are doing, you need to open it with Guitar Pro software.
Nice
AAARRRGGGGHHHH!! Thanks!!
Hi This video is very cool. Thank you. I am having fun with this riff. Thank you also for the link. I would like to find the backing track.
Hello Eric, I'm glad you are having fun with it. There is no backing track for this lesson, only the GP files. If you want to practice on your own, just put a similar drum groove with similar tempo and go for it. Cheers :)
Bluz Mašina i found a drums backing Track to 80bpm and it’s very Nice 👍
Still fun in drop B
Not only that there are a lot of music in Drop D.Might as we’ll Venture into the Unknown. 🎸🎸🎸🎸☠️☠️💀
man after this video im gonna try some ideas. keep posting. any chance you could play the later riffs a bit slower?
Thank you. You can try to slow down the playback speed on UA-cam, and you can download the guitar pro file (check in the description).
Bluz Mašina ok thanks. i Got a little problems cause you are fretting differently than me, i dont use my thumb, Just the index finger. Do some more drop d riffs if you can!
@@iforgotthenamemate Thanks. Practice as you see fit and feel comfortable.
Great lesson! Thanks much! How many bpm is that?
What pedals do you use to get that sound?
How about another one for C#
Where can I get drum beats like these?

Thanks! :) You can find drum track in the description.
Bluz Mašina downloaded it, unfortunately there is only guitar tabs and track, no drums in it 😏
@@x-Anas-x Sorry just realized there is no separate backing. BUT, here's one of my videos that has this exact same drum track for practicing: ua-cam.com/video/UP2Rk6MS9W8/v-deo.html
