Love the tunes Kelly, great teaching as always… with the exception of Van Halen and Foo Fighters…there is a whole lot more to Drop D/C# than power cords, I.e major and minor cords (and variations thereof). For example a really cool drop C# song is Isolation by Alterbridge
Quite an offering here, hard work and good stuff. It is hard to beat Everlong 😉 Always dug that one. I remember once me and a carload of friends had arrived at our destination and we were all eager to get there. We were just about to get out of the car and Everlong came on the stereo, nobody opened a car door and everybody just sat there and rocked the f**k out.
I'd love to see you do a couple acoustic lessons, like maybe something from Days Of The New, or any classic acoustic tunes you actually enjoyed playing. I gave this one a big Thumbs Up.. 👍
A few weeks ago I got frustrated and gave up on the solo to a Knocking at Your Back Door by Ritchie Blackmore and Deep Purple. Such a chaotic solo and I couldn't wrap my head around it melodically. Gave up.
Great lesson, alternative tuning open up so much possibilities.
Thank you
Awesome KDA!🔥🙏

I'm not really much of a Slash guy but that Velvet Revolver riff is pretty greasy bad ass stuff!
RATT….. LAY IT DOWN!!!! Cmon man
I would say bring back the 90's but they never left...
Here's two more:
Vinnie Moore - Meltdown
Phantom Rocker & Slick - Men Without Shame

Thanks mate! Not much of an acoustic player. Don't even have a decent acoustic guitar.
I like you even more cuza no acoustic KDA
Man I love Unchained. I thought you might add Moby Dick but maybe too basic compared to these modern riffs. But a classic nonetheless!
Can't argue with those... Would've subbed Foo Fighters Everlong for Ratt Lay it Down. Silverchair honorable mentions.
Lay it Down is the best drop d riff ever
Is there anything you’ve tried to play and then given up on because it’s to difficult?
