This video demonstrates how to create hard rock/metal riffs, and how to develop them with the drum groove. Tuning I used here is drop C, although you can find both drop D and drop C versions of the guitar pro file on the link below:

There is a version of this video for drop D tuning, you can check it out here:

I was about to change to another video, but when I started to listen to the riffing, I stayed attentive, while enjoying how you did it... Cool guitar tutorial, man, I liked it a lot.

I changed my strings to a heavier gauge. I didn't feel like adjusting my trussrod and doing a proper setup, so I figured I'd give a lower tuning a try. I'd never played in drop c before. So now the search for how to play it. And here you are. Great video, man! This is perfect for me. I feel reinvigorated, and fully invested. Honestly, I never got very good with standard tuning, but this feels natural. It's so nice to be able to groove right away. You have given me an amazing jumpstart. Thank you.

You posted this a year ago so hopefully you went out and got a proper set up for the guitar if you kept it in drop C. Otherwise your neck probably has a back bow by now.

Hey man, awesome video! Helps a lot since I’m gonna teach these very licks to my daughter , beginning tomorrow. Bought her a Jake Bowen signature Ibanez today. 9 years old, my daughter, not the guitar! The guitar comes in drop C put of the box. Where can we get the easy and good sounding drum tracks from? Would appreciate your help or info. Cheers, Richard from Paris
