Great build, man! Looks nice. I always liked having my CMVS units to free up space for superguns to run other pcbs as well. I've still got my consolized MV-1FZ hooked up to one of my gaming rigs, still going strong after all these years. Awesome vid, Luke!
would absolutley love one of these, if you ever fancied building another one for the right price of course, then dont hesitate to get in touch man, nice work Luke!
Worth adding yourself a fuse (2 amp fine on 1FZ), and stick a diode in (reverse biased) to protect against reverse polarity. Just added the diode to mine - it was something I should have done ages ago!!!!
RGB (or YbPbPr) Component encoders are pretty hard to come by lately and two known boards made I can think of are from JROK and NeoBitz (whom confirmed to me he no longer produces them). And the JROK encoder I use for my supergun doesn't work with modern TV's due to it not being able to render 240p)
Hello. I'm trying to mount a "consolized" mvs, but I have doubts about how to turn the power on, could you tell me where I can find schematics. Thank you for your attention, excellent content. Thank you.
Thanks gruss. Yeah. Ive personally had 1 experience where a couple of screws dropped on mine and took out the system. Not fun repairing that kind of thing but if you keep it away from dangers like that, you are probably ok. Thanks again
That's good to know. I've had that happen when I used a gamepad on my PC back in the day. Now I'll just get an XBOX 360 USB controller if I can find one or an adapter to connect a PS2 controller.
Pretty awesome project, Luke, it reminded me of that SEGA Mega Gear you put together some time ago. I was wondering... With these systems you basically create pretty much from scratch, did you ever consider the idea of designing the exterior parts/shells with some CAD/modeling software, and then get them 3D printed? I know you're a fan of this deliberately 'imperfect' look, but that would allow you to stock parts for easier replacements, and also to sell your creations in small batches (assuming this is something that you may want to do). Huge thumbs up anyway!
Yes indeed. That would be fantastic and I wish I had the tools and accessibility to plastic molding companies or facilities here. Unfortunately every one of these creations is basically a one of a kind look so once its gone its gone I suppose. Thanks again for the kind words and support though
7 years later, these videos still amaze me! good job on this one!
Your collection never ceases to amaze. Thanks for all the videos!
nice metal work and the blue plastic looks great! cool to see your creative mind at work

Slot1Gamer Let's pop it on and wear some of that!
Lol, that would be entertaining but who would wear it? Haha

Amazing! Love the colors you chose.
Wellcome back Sir :) ... great video, great project ... I still need a supergun my 2 MVS boards are just sitting ther :)
Very nice Luke! The blue looks fantastic. It would be neat if the SNK logo lit up but it doesn't matter. I think what you have looks awesome. :)
Looks really cool, especially the blue trim
Thanks as always. My favorite color so decided to go with it
Do you say alright, back again, Luke here... or alright, backagainLukehere?
Great job!!! =D Any upcoming repairs? I miss your videos!!!
Thanks as always man. I dont have anything in particular planned as of right now but maybe something will pop up lol
old school mods in 2017, I love it

Very nice. I thought you'd done this a while ago.
I was lucky to get one of James (from Jamma Nation X)' CMVS machines a few years ago. Great device.
Nah, Ive made superguns before but no cmvs videos at all :) thanks again
Looking GOOOOD!
Lovely job sir!
Outstanding...! Good job
thanks for the upload Luke

Awesome video. Totally forgot about jammanationx
Bom dia amigo de onde tirar o audio para conseguir Uma melhor qualidade
Cool video, I've just started making mine.
Nice custom enclosure you built there, I've always left my CMVS exposed but I guess it wouldn't take a lot for something to fall on it and short out

Do you have the dip switches sorted? How about a memory card port?
Very cool device! Looks like it took quite an effort to modify it.
can you please do a tutorial how to do it just the wiring
I love me some Neo•Geo.
You and I both
Great work! :)
that's a pretty sweet mod! so to coin it up its just a button off to the side (or underneath) on the console?
Hey Luke, do you do these mvs consoles on a regular basis? I really want to get one.
Woo, Luke!
Good job luke to consolized that mvs.Did you put in a universe bios as well ?
Pretty cool
Nice mod. I would worry about the controllers coming out of the ports if I was playing this. How tight do they fit in those connectors?
Quite tight. They wont slide out lol

Where can I buy one?
Unfortunately not mass producing these, just this one for my own use
cool
Hi 'BackAgainLuke', I'm fys.
Some MVS cartridges are cheaper than their AES counterparts!
Sooo, how much?
Haha, not for sale just for personal use.
It's gonna warm up
