And of course the immense Charles Baudelaire's 'Les Fleurs du Mal' (The flowers of Evil). Like the latter was, I am also a fan of Edgar Allan Poe. I would quote Jack London as well. As for the British authors, I essentially like the big six, Wordsworth, Blake, Keats, Shelley ... I won't quote them all for you obviously know them all as well as Emilie Brontë, Jane Austen, Dickens and Orwell! I am less a fan of series because that is a bit of binding and time-consuming for me to have to keep up, with the risk of becoming 'addicted'. I liked G.O.T. a lot though. A great idea - recommendations according to the season. The book "Bird Cottage" is certainly an excellent recommendation. Unfortunately there is no audio book. I find it very helpful if there is an audio book to go with the book. Fortunately, there is an audio book for "The Last Garden in England". Thank you for the great tips.
