Did he ACTUALLY sleep through that? Not every closed eye is sleep. So did he really sleep through the shooting or was he pretending to be asleep, maybe even hiding until the rampage was over????
Either way, its horrific all around. 😢
I read he had a box fan going, and those can be pretty loud. But honestly when I was that age I could’ve slept through a freight train coming through my living room even without the box fan.

I can’t begin to understand what would make this man murder all BUT one of his children!?! You left your youngest child to find all of you? The grief this poor boy is going to go through is unimaginable. I just hope he has great support around him and access to the resources he will certainly need. My heart breaks for everyone involved.
That's why this alleged murder suicide makes no sense. I think they need to investigate a little deeper because there's no sense to being so angry you kill your wife and children, but it's a whole different level to leave 1 of 4 children alive knowing that devastation he would face. Unless he was some kind of sick twisted soulless human or demon possessed maybe? I guess those are possibilities, but I'm not buying the murder suicide story with this little bit of info... yet.

@amyjt35 I was thinking the same. Usually when something like this happens it's a killer who didn't realize the child was in the home, or as in one case, an uncle killed everyone except a daughter because he was messing with her and because no one suspected him, the living daughter had to live with him and his wife which further continued the SA until he was found out. Could be what there calling it, but I'm with you on this🤔
@@queenofcloversI thought that too but for it to be ruled what they're calling it, it's just hard for me to believe a 10 year old could stage it in that manner to make it look like the dad did it. Been shocked before though.
Maybe the youngest wasn't really his and he found out and took the rage out in his wife in that way.

I'm.from Australia what I have noticed so many killing thier families / suicide...It happens there too especially a lot of men killing thier gf or wives but not some many family/ suicide s..
So sad that there are enough wars let alone these other killing crimes.... What s happening to the world....

It is so tragic,,but what seems odd about this is; the Sargent said " we know there was an altercation between the husband and wife"?? And that the father " systematically walked thru the house killing the children"!??? If,the 10yr was asleep,how do they know there was an altercation? I've heard there are things about this case that may suggest it was not murder/suicide. Neighbors didn't hear anything,,,is there any security camera footage from any of the other homes?
I am wondering if the Father gave the 10 year old something to make him sleep...because not sure why..the 10 year old did not wake up. Thank God he did not and is Alive. Prayers for the 10 year old Survivor ❤...and Extended Family.
Kenny, some of us sleep through loud noises. I do. I slept thru an explosion once. I'm a very deep sleeper, so I'm not surpised.
What if the 10 year old took his father's g and did it?? They better investigate.
Children produce more melatonin at that age and sleep more deeply because of it. I used to be a heavy sleeper. Not anymore!
When I was in the 4th grade, I slept through hurricane Ike. I could sleep through anything, but him possibly being given something makes sense too!

How do they know it wasnt a murder or robbery?
because of where the weapon was found. He killed his wife first, then the 3 kids, then himself. The gun would have been found by his side. If it had been a robbery, the home would have been ransacked. It wasn't.
There are little things I've heard that possibly show this was not a murder/suicide,,,,police saying they know there was an altercation between the parents( who told the officers that?) The weapon was " not in a position to suggest the man committed suicide)!?? And a lone 10 year old,left unharmed?
He worked only a part time job. I wonder with the economy getting worse, they kept arguing over money and him needing to get a full time job
Oklahoma - so many times it´s Oklahoma when these gruesome news are being reported. What´s wrong with "the great state of Oklahoma?" Sins of the forefathers? The blood of innocent victims soaked up by the earth?
whatever, anyhow, the "altercation" that caused him to lose all control can´t be the sole reason. There must have been something going on for quite some time within this seemingly "bright shining - all american family!"´ This surviving child will carry a terrible wound upon his soul for the rest of his life.

Well America has been founded on violence and blood. They just follow the traditions. Also the name Oklahoma sounds bad, maube people are upset because of that. But seriously mental health issues are growing rapidly. There is not enough assistance and society underestimates the damages it causes. People with depression or schizophrenia don't get much help and sometimes it ends up like this. Competent mental health care is outpriced for the average families, medication and therapy sessions can run up to several thousands very easily. Most insurance companies don't pay a cent for this.
@@MadisMustonen the problem I have is when a certain race(blacks) kill their families it’s not mental health. But when a white man kills his family it’s mental health. Make up your minds. Is it mental health or not. Mental health is a disease that affects all race of people.
People can sleep through loud events and some killers do leave certain individuals. Look up other shootings, and you’ll find that. I’ve also slept through EMS coming to the house in the middle of the night.
Poor kid though. I hope he has a good support system through all of this.
And this kid could have slept through someone coming into the house that night to target the family as well. How do we know it was the dad. No one painted him as a narcissist. Everyone seemed to love him. He was described as goofy. Either he was a very good actor, or something else happened that we are not supposed to know.

She probably told him she wanted out and this was his response. A loving husband & father wouldn't do this. Unfortunately most women suffer in silence at the hands of men like this.

How do you know he did it in the first place, is it because the news told you so? There’s more to this story. My gut is telling me that something is way off and to close the case so fast does not sit right. Not a single person had anything bad to say about him whatsoever. Somebody knows something.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but something seems sus about this story.
Like people said, unless the boy was drugged, how could he not hear the argument, if there even was one, (are the cops speculating there was a fight, because how would they know?)and then gun fire, multiple times throughout the house and he didn't wake up until the morning?
The math is just not mathing here, for me.
And I've seen enough documented police recordings of questioning kids that turn out to be the killer.
Was there a note left behind? It's unlikely that the father would stop at one child when he had no sense of morality when he killed the rest of the family.
I'm suspicious of the child who survived.

I think investigators should turn over every stone before coming to the conclusion of a murder suicide.

something dont add up 10year old is a sleeps
Don't claim to know everything and definitely haven't seen every crime show that exists over the past 25 years, but something about this doesn't add up in most cases like this. Usually in this case with multiple people, if the dad doesn't off himself, he for sure offs everyone in the house (or at least tries to) unless one of the children isn't present for some reason.I first suspected the child until I found out about all the other children being brothers and them being older than him. An 18 and 14 year old and his dad will obviously be the biggest males in the house, and I just don't see him being able to pull that off being the youngest and smallest member in the house. Even adults trained in law enforcement make mistakes. This could be what they're calling it, but I wonder if this is a case similar to the Robert Xie case where the uncle killed the girls entire family while she was away so that he could have access to continually SA her. He and his wife (which was her biological aunt)got custody of her after the murders. He benefitted financially and, of course, had free access to SA her until he was caught. Not saying that the boy has been SA'ed, but it could be that somebody wanted financial gain by leaving him alive, or it could be exactly what they're calling it and for whatever reason he chose to spare this child, maybe he was the favorite, to carry on his name, but even that's questionable because why would you want him waking up to something that could possibly traumatize him for the rest of his life and ruin him. Again, not claiming to know everything or to have seen every crime show that exists over the last 25 years or so, it's just that this one is very unique from what I've seen.

The 10yr old did it. No evidence of the dad even being the slightest bit aggressive. And why would he just leave one kid alive? He was asleep and would have been easy to take out. The kid did it

I just found out this last week that OJ's son did it, a son from his first marriage killed Nicole and Ron and it was found out years ago and I just found out a couple days ago
