Please do an update. Love your CR-V content. I have a 2000 CR-V with 233k miles, bought for 4k in 2017 from original owner. It's still in excellent condition and my wife's daily. She could have a new car but chooses to keep driving it. Doing upgrades for her birthday.
Yes I love the 1st generation crv, I have had 1, 97, 2000, 2001, now I got a 99 white one, still thinking about a 2001 again with low mileage
those wheels are sick
Dude, your crv looks incredible! I can't wait to add more mods to mine now. Thanks for the video.
I really like your exterior mods, Jon!!! They improved that CRV functionally and aesthetically!!!
Great to see some more CRV content. Did my suspension refresh and NSK bearings 8 months ago 👍🏽 I have a 99-00 Honda Civic SI Energy suspension front bushing kit set #16-8111 and set #16.3115 + Mevotech TTX upper ball joints for $100 if you’re interested. I didn’t install them on my CRV because the job was harder then I thought lol.
Lol, thanks for the offer but I've had the suspension parts for the last 3 years when I thought I was motivated to do the work. Hoping that sticks true finally!
@@GarageBuiltHondas 3 years? Holy cow… All good bro ✌🏽
Yes man, bought all these parts at the end of 2019 including the wheels. COVID put my life into a weird schedule especially since I had a child in October 2019. Just didn't have the time! This year is the year, I think. Lol
@@GarageBuiltHondas laughing at “this year is the year, I think. Lol” 😂
If you can get some old period correct PIAA mini fog lights for cheap/free that would be a cool look.
Looks dope. You’ve got to freshen up the black trim and bumpers. I used bumper paint and worked fine but maybe you want to use ceramic coat.
You also need an OEM hard cover for the spare tire.
I had to fix the paint on my hood after removing a wind/rock deflector which was broken. I used rattle can colour match from Canadian tire and it worked out well. You can spray it n some clear coat over that area it’s coming off and then sand and polish and it will look way better.
improved that CRV .. looks incredible!
Thanks!
What’s up Jon!! Damn… CRV looks so dope!!! 🔥
Awesome as always.Thanks for sharing.
Love the wheels, more CRV content pls!
Looks real good.. do Kc's rounds In black on the front bullbar.
Cool video Jon keep up the good work man! shout out from El Paso Tx
Looks sharp.
Put some Zep High Traffic floor polisher on those bumpers and that plastic will look restored.
No kidding?
Is it still holding up?
Yeah plz put it more in the channel
Excellent job
Love the CRV content!
Do you have lift up absorber? or standard?
Woohoo CRV content
Hey I got some wheels as a gift they are 17 × 8.5 offset is 10 mm that is what worries me . Do you think they will fit ?
Depends on the face of the wheels. Easiest way to find out is test fit one.
where did you get the front bumper bar? nice video!
Here ya go amzn.to/3xIzapw
Looking good
is honda crv 2001 still good today? to be a 1st car? TIA
If it's in good shape I'd say yes. I still see a lot of these on the roads! I've been daily driving my since January of 2018
Appreciate the reply, thank you im planning on getting one,
@@lien.6486did you end up getting a CRV?
Where'd you cop the Nerf bar and bumper bar?
I bought a wrecked from the front CRV and kept all the good stuff from it.
I've been looking for those motegi wheels everywhere but I cant find them in the same size
They've been discontinued now. I don't think they'll be making them again
Did you have any clearance issues running that tire and wheel set up I've got a 1stgen also but it has a 2inch lift looking to run the same wheel and tire size
None.
Looking forward to more of the crv looks great
Where can i buy all that
eBay is your best option.
Looks sweet would you like to sell the rims you removed
I sold them on eBay already, sorry
These are starting to become a little more popular with the other Honda stuff becoming outrageously expensive. It is kinda an EK/ integra on stilts. Too bad Honda never rallied these they deserved it.
I agree. Easy to drive, more rugged and cheap to maintain still also.
Please message me regarding my 2000 CR-V. Has JDM engine. Good for parts or rebuild project. Would like to see it have more life.
Sorry, I don't do work for pay any longer. I don't have the time.
@@GarageBuiltHondas I can't keep the CR-V anymore. My loss is your gain.
🔥🔥🔥😇😉🍻🍺
