Dude I can play 4 energy and get it somehow in ptcg live with trainers as long it's some form of "rainbow energy" it's fine and depending on the deck makes sense to play 10 energies at most for some decks. When you got draw power like Pokémon TCG you better be worried decking out more, but I saw a video you can't deck out in pocket not sure it's true I haven't experience myself. The ruleset much different too apparently compared to regular TCG and LIve.

It’s a money grab saying any gacha game isn’t. Makes the person saying it sound like a shill. They can spend less time and make more money. making a digital card look nice without worrying about manufacturing or distributing them which takes more time and is cost more money. If there isn’t any intrinsic value being held like being able to trade them or sell them then it’s a money grab. Anything you don’t own, or anything that relies on servers that can be shutdown at any minute is a money grab. Anyone who says it isn’t probably just loves gambling.
To anyone who is having the game freeze and crash at the date of birth screen or else where. I transfered the game off my sd card, a sixety four gig sadisk, to my internal device storage. Solved my issue immediately.
So far this game is pretty cool. Since the TCG for the gameboy from way back then I haven't seen a cool Pokemon TCG. Pocket is simple, looks clean and is quite fun so far. I didn't even reroll and already have the Mewtwo ex meta deck completed, f2p after 1,5 days of playing. I got pretty lucky though. 46 packs opened so far 2 of my Mewtwo ex are immersive art and also got a god pack already.
Do we know when the packs points reset or are they there forever and when new cards get added we can use this points to buy whatever new cards come out
idk the pokemon mobile games like Pokemon Masters are pretty much free to play friendly, compared to the usual anime gacha games (that's the catch, the other gacha games are super predatory that Pokemon masters looks great in comparison lmao)
I wonder since trading will be added that players will start selling cards like in irl. I wouldn’t mind that tbh seems like a cool way to earn some side money collecting and trading rare cards
Very fun even for F2P players, got the initial free packs you get and logged in for my daily packs for a couple weeks and already built a handful of decks, even got a few high rarity cards.

Live is the most F2P option atm to use a digital simulator they give decks out from ladder for free. The mobile app no one likes (but can play on PC client) and international Pokémon company make codes everywhere but Japan probably (I'm just guessing atm). it's a very F2P game with just code cards for the extra packs they are making the money from the codes pretty much from the physical packs but it's 100% F2P-able they hand out 6-7 meta decks pretty much at the start.

Best thing about the game is the trade system. It was so good that they didn't even release it yet.

Game looks like a Rush Duel Variant of Pokemon. Decks look halve the size of regular deck.
