- King Thanos made news last week when it was announced that a new attraction featuring ‘King Thanos’ was coming to Avengers Campus at Disneyland. This certainly caught our attention and poses the question... could we see King Thanos show up in Avengers Secret Wars? In today's video, "KING THANOS In Avengers: Secret Wars", I break down the character of King Thanos and discuss how his inclusion in the MCU would work. What do you guys think? King Thanos is for a new ride at Disneyland. It’s possible he appears in Secret Wars or What If? But that’s not a guarantee. But I’d 100% like to see him in the MCU at some capacity

I feel like King Thanos would apart of a What if?episode similar to infinite ultron.
With the opening of the Multiverse by the MCU I think it would be possible to make a small part for King Thanos; but I don't think they will retread Thanos if they can help it. So, with Celestials, Kang and Skrulls to deal with, I hope not to see too much of him.. and a quick thanks to you for all you do. Peace

I disagree! A Thanos redemption or THANOS WINS series would be awesome. They could do it like what if and have it be out of continuity if they want. Even a Thanos infinity abyss would be an awesome show. A Thanos Warlock show after guardians would also be great. Infinity Watch?!

King Thanos and Cosmic Ghostrider in the mcu would be something that would excite me for sure. I'd be even more fired up if Donny Cates writes the screenplay, get on it Marvel!

@geekcultureexplained Do you thing the World Machine will be featured in the MCU? If so, if an eternal was dusted, would the World Machine make a new copy of them? And after Tony snaps, wouldn't they come back and have 2 of them at the same time?

I could see Bernthal do Punisher again until some main event like secret wars or after, then gets to fight or sacrifice himself to be resurrected into cosmic ghost rider, or even really amped by Galactus, would be damn awesome !
Only thing is, I think Ryan Gosling would do the perfect classic Ghost Rider with his staring.

cosmic ghost punisher SHOULD be in the mcu and use the multiverse as the reason or excuse john bernthal can be wacky punisher before becoming the hardcore punisher we know n love without any continuity issue just so people know that there is a version of john bernthal just screaming while on fire with a face as a skull who is op as f.

Nah...Newer, Fresher characters would be more interesting...I'm more looking forward to debut of Kang in the MCU, along with Namor, Fantastic 4, RiRi Williams, X-Men (at some point), etc.
The Eternals also said they never stepped in an Avengers level conflict because they only dealt with situations having to do with deviants but Thanos is a deviant. He has a deviant gene. And he’s even brothers with Eros in the MCU
And they did step in for other conflicts, I can't imagine a scenario where the dude that mind controls people wouldn't go the avengers headquarters to give his help or the other trasnmedium girl, why don't I remember their names? Forgettable film sadly lmao.

@@trentonbambi5137 It's obvious Thanos has a deviant gene. When it was confirmed Eros is his brother, they don't look the same though. Eros is a humanoid while Thanos is an abomination & gene modification gone wrong according to his mother. MCU most likely will show a chapter of Eternals living in Titan. Eros & Thanos will have a tremendous back story.
The story line they used for Thanos in the movies was pretty weak compared to the comics, I assume they did it that way for maximum appeal for turnout.
This may be unpopular but to be honest, I don't necessarily care to see Thanos in the MCU again. I mean it would be great I do like the idea but I'm also one of those people who are just like Thanos had his heart what's give character development to out of other villains. Even the smaller villains could be avengers level threats. I'm more just want to see real development and longevity and MCU villains rather than going back to one of the big bads

a loki episode dedicated to king thanos could happen , the demise of king thanos could be kang of that universe manges to kill him before everything goes tits up and that world starts exploding loki manges to escape, ending up in another episode.

King Thanos in Avenger Campus!!!
If Thanos wins the endgame, will the planets be destroyed after the snap and there will be another big bang, or will the planets remain, but the living things will be destroyed and replaced by living things that don't remember what happened before the snap?
A What if.. episode could include King Thanos. Or it would be included as an incidental mention in a movie or series. They show what happens right after the snap and what the new universe looks like under Thanos' rule. But I wouldn't dedicate an entire movie to this story. Thanos' story has been wrapped up. But I would love to see what would have happened if Thanos won in the end game.
If they get an alternate universe king thanos and there's like some portal that opens up, cosmic ghost rider standing behind him, chin up, would be the absolute most epic scene in the entire trilogy.

bringing him back would be in the same direction the MCU is going (The Multiverse) and yes it would be dope to see him back in rare form besides the MCU / Disney has plenty of material to work with to fit him in to be honest i feel like they're rushing to get material out to please the fans

Bring King Thanos in when we get to Battleworld. The whole Black Order too! And let them slaughter an army of Thors.
I have a thought experiment: what if we made a bracket of Final Form OP versions of characters like Thanos, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Namor, Black Panther, Professor X, Magneto, and the like (not the beyond Omega Level ones to boot like Owen Reeves or Franklin Richards) and squared them off against each other? Maybe start with 8 a side for the bracket.
Coming from a huge MCU nerd..It does not matter who they bring right now.. The MCU sucks balls at the moment.. I even cancelled my Disney+ subscription... Thor love and thunder and the She Hulk show both showed me Kevin Feige no longer cares about the fans..
Let me pivot for a second. There is a timeline in the MCU with NO THANOS. The Thanos from Endgame is from 2014 and he got dusted. I wanna see what happened in that timeline from Guardians moving forward.
I'm not too excited by the prospect. I'm sure it would be cool but I just want to see new villains. I never really liked Thanos to begin with since I found his whole reasoning to be pretty dumb, but it's more than that. Since Endgame, we haven't seen a big bad yet. I'm not even talking a 10-year-build-up bad guy, just an Avengers-level threat. No one to match Loki or Ultron. The MCU has just been kind of sputtering along. Gorr could maybe have been that bad guy, but he was largely squandered in L&T.
As such, I think it would be really bad to dip back into Thanos so soon. We need to give Kang (and hopefully even more villains of a decent caliber) the spotlight without them having to share it with the last big bad guy. I think that would be a disservice to them.
I'd much rather see Ultron back if I had the choice of bringing anyone back. I think there is untapped potential there whereas I think Thanos' story is largely told. I'm not against him coming back *way* later, after the whole Kang Saga, but right now it would just feel like looking backward instead of to the future.
I'd actually be extremely satisfied seeing some version of the Multi-verse/Main-MCU getting basically shut off for good... and at the epic conclusion of it about to take place, Star Fox, Adam Warlock, Dr Strange etc., are seen "coming in" last second, with the only hope for the entire Future of the MCU, being with Thanos appearing from the otherside of the portal he original went to right after the snap, with storm-breaker in his chest (right after the snap), and we are all left seeing the remaining avengers and star fox and gamora etc., begging Thanos to use the infinity gauntlet to end the threat... then he can return to whatever it is he seeks.
However, just like in the actual old comic where Thanos actually snapped everything away... the flaw in the mad titan, thena, etc... he makes his own decision... Everything... gone... cut to black,... slowly fade in audio clips... screen starts to slowly fade into white light.
There... we begin to piece the audio as messages from Stan Lee himself... from the now all white screen... the man himself emerges... seemingly looking down from above... and then using stock/cut footage/audio/etc. that they still have with historic moments from all the films... he tells a message about a time where it would be on the new generation of comic creaters to expand even more on the already amazing storylines that have already been told...
He then tells Deadpool, he can finally, "do the thing"...
And then poof... Thanos is back in the cabin where End Game picked up, without the stones...
And hopefully Sony's/etc., rights to all things "not theirs" are back where the should be, heading into I'd presume Avengers parts 7-9...

Tbh I don't care to see Thanos again in the MCU. Like you said, his story has already been told & going back on that would be really dumb, plus they already had a chance to give us another version of Thanos & Endgame's events in 'What If' & look how they wasted that.

Nah, he was okayish in the films, but they already did his story and tbh I wouldn't want to see him come back. He's already kinda been played out. Especially with all the attention the character has been getting online ever sonce Infinity War, he's become stale from over-saturation.
You just have Battleworld and King Thanos rules one chunk and he’s challenged by world breaker hulk and the giant battle everyone wanted will come to pass!

Umm, Thanos WAS going to wipe out ALL life in endgame. He literally said it to the trio before the fight. And that he would create new life without any knowledge of the old, just of him.

If the eternals basically watch over earth by living amongst the ppl and their memories are wiped after death, how would they know anything that's going on in space. There was literally a space package sent to tell the world "Thanos is coming" #who?

I’m down for the idea of this comic but we’ve already seen thanos again down to see this comic come to play but again there gonna downplay and down grade the film like example thor love and thunder hence gorr the child kidnapper 😂but it brings the idea of what director or dune said denis villeneueve marvel is just making cut and paste movie and it’s true move on from thanos we’ve already seen it and I would like to see something else to be honest they are at this point just making cut and paste and recycle the same movies 😅😅

Being that I'm not an OG comic gal and note of an mcu fan I really don't care much about seeing king Thanos. He had his moment, . I feel life asnippet or cameo would be a waste out time that could be used on something new or expand on some current element.

I see them doing this as a what if story. Gauging off of the cartoons popularity we already have a stand alone in zombies. That’ll do well I don’t see why not make some of these concepts a live action movie or greater tier version of a cartoon on the big screen. This can be done by showing flashbacks on all of the options of that Dr. Strange saw. One of those alternate realities would be if Thanos won.
