Depends on the mags and the gun. Ghk gbbrs are so well built. Its called the devil hunter mod. You fit c02 knocker valves and put teflon tape on the bottom seals for extra security then it works just fine. It some also say you need to change the inlet valve to allow the liquid to flow.
My cousin's uncle just tried that and he went on to push an entire co2 capsule in the magazine of an FNX-45 from cybergun...The mag EXPLODED in his hands...Luckily with a small injury...Could have been worse. The mag was TORN APART and not from below, as one might expect; the SIDES FAILED, it's been "opened" like a BOOK by the explosion. Had the valve gone off, it would have been a LETHAL projectile. You got lucky, your mag was about to explode also. A little bit more co2 and it would have gone BOOM.
That's why you don't overfill them.... Especially trying to put an entire damn CO2 cartridge in a little mag that doesn't even hold that amount to begin with
I have a WE baby High Capa gas blowback gun, and I tried a risky thing in this kind of way as well. Instead of using my gas mag, I bought a C02 HIgh Capa mag, and used it in the gas high capa gun, and guess what? It worked, I thought it would have blown my rings and seals, but it didn't. It actually handled the C02 pressure! I must say tho, it popped and shot so powerful, I couldn't believe it! The blow back was insane as well. I dont shoot with the Co2 mag all the time, In fear of it might wear out the gun prematurely, but once in a while for fun is a blast!!
I run all of my WE guns on propane because propane it's cheaper and runs at a higher pressure than most green gas generally does. I have a WE M712 I run on propane, and that little pistol shoots .2 gram bb's at an insane 450 fps on propane, full auto lol
Green gas operates around 150psi, red gas around 175 and black gas for colder weather at 200, the CO2 is around 800 but in warmer ambient temperatures this will increase. This device could be used on APS shells for the CAM 870 shell ejecting shot gun, assuming nozzle is compatible, as these are designed to work with CO2
Theres a video on youtube, I believe you just have to change your Hammer/Recoil and the Spring inside of your Loading Nozzel, all to a stronger one, and then use a C02 Mag and it will feed and work exactly like a C02 Gun.
Do they make small tubes like that which can be filled with propane. Would be a super useful on the field quick fill and not have the hassle of carrying a green gas can or big propane tank
I just recently got myself a double bell m92 taurus the day the bloke left town as I got it at my local agriculture show my tank wouldn't hold gas so I knocked out the two pins in the bottom of the mag and pulled the bottom out nothing wrong with the o ring from what I could see as the was no leaks at either valve but bubbles coming out around the base of the mag in submerged in water test so before reassembly I put a generous but not excessive amount of black automotive silicone on the o ring and above and slid it back together put the pins in left it for 14hrs and no more leak I don't see any issue with permanently sealing the base as the fill valve unscrews out of the bottom so no issues can even put HPA valve in
Well it exists and there's so many of them. Did you put thread tape on the treads of the fill valve? I didn't leak from the exhaust valve like dedicated c02 mags.
I Believe this would work if u would use the correct pressure Green gas is around 120 - 130 psi those co2 cartridges are around 1200 psi what would be interesting is to use a CO2 tank with a regulator set at 120 - 130 psi and have the correct nozzel to fill the green gas mags it would probably fill just like normal. BUT CO2 will be more aggressive on the slide
If i heard you right, thats a Tokyo Marui mag, which is designed for green gas only, BCS TM design is perfect for low temp low pressure, try another brand might work.
I use one of the refillable co2 canisters and fill it with green gas then load it into this device that way I don’t have to carry my large can on the field when plying
Shouldn't be possible with the charger from madbull? The pro charger let you choose the psi you need and at thst point it's almost the same as the green gas imho
the co2 is cold and it hardens the gaskets, that''s why you have leak , i think you need to heat up the mag and the co2 , put please use gloves and glasses when experiment , you will cold burn your hands , if something bad happens
What if you change the actual mag to a CO2 one? The pistol still takes it but a completely different mag. The pistol should still be able to handle it right?
from what I know, green gas designed pistols can be damaged by the higher pressure shots that co2 gives, and co2 designed pistols cant efficiently get shots from the green gas due to the lower pressure. although I have heard some guns are designed to accept both, but you will have to find a gun that specifically says it accepts both kinds of mags.
@@plasticlawnchair7197 WE HiCapa Dragon B with full auto, can take Green, Red, Black can gas or straight propane in the regular steel gas mag, or a CO2 capsule in a CO2 mag. It's a beast.

green red and black rated gas IS PROPANE. I think only the green has silicone lube added. Red is straight propane, no lubricant. Not sure afar the black is.. maybe propane/mapp mix?
You can do it. This test was not accurate coz it was made on old mag with old gaskets. If you do it on new one or even better when you change gaskets for co2 gaskets than you will see the real results.
Hello i want too know if i can use co2 mag on mt M1911 because i the magazine Chamber it has de espace that a CO2 mag takes space and i the mag i have is greengas
Spring gun pushes up the bb into the barrel and uses the “COMPRESSED SPRING POWER” to shoot so no it will not fit or work all mechanics are different in spring guns
Also your magazine is too worn out you can tell it isn’t in the best condition from the video you also over filled it the first bit before the second push was all you need it only needs 500psi you over filled it by 10 psi
Yes if it fits, but if the quality of the pistols seals and parts are for green gas than it will damage your pistols components, it's only a matter of time.
ur doing it wrong. 1. put in ur greengas 2.after this give a small push of co2 as an extra this is made for a little extra fps or cold days, not to run it solo on co2,this would damage ur pistol
@tonglianheng That is not possible either. Co2 is liquid, the pressure arises when the liquid gas turns into air and no matter how you fill it, the pressure of co2 will be the same, about 800 psi at 20 degrees
Would never work. Reason. Green gas liquid explodes into air pressure upon release. With Co2 You can’t transfer it to a green gas mag. Blowing out the seals is a guarantee when you fill with CO2. Better to simply use a co2 magazine instead
He's the hero we needed but didn't deserve,

Ghk gbbr’s are barely well built. It’s more that their mag design can relatively take co2 with minimal problems
What's the max psi that the green gas mags can withstand? Would hate to try to fill it and have the mag explode due to being over pressurized

WE can do co2, its just that there are parts that will break overtime, WE don't have many steel parts, but everything should be fixable.

Hey bro it's probably really late to ask this but was it a green gas mag? And did the stock fill valve handle the pressure?
Any update bro?
When you hear the C02 leaking like that should have just given it a couple of taps on table to put the seal back in position

Why not build in a max pressure valve so that the mag won't get over pressured ?
