Very well spoken and explained. I thought 11 minutes would be full of waffle, but no, great well explained. Well done!
yes
How can you NOT like this guy :)
ikr, he definetely made me smile
True
For real. Very helpful too

Good presentation. You are the first guy to acknowledge the value of the silicone "grease". While NOT a lube for metal parts it's terrific on o-rings and other types of sealing items. I've used it for many years in my job to seal against pressure and vacuums and figured it might be great for somethings on air guns. It can also lube plastic parts that a real oil might mess up. Get some and us it sparingly . As they used to say " a little dab will do you". No need to slobber it on anything.
Silicone grease is used in airsoft guns to lube metal gears. seems to work on metal parts for me.
I remember that
"Little dab"that did me.
It was called
(Brylcream) , a good smelling
not so greasy goop for the hair. Hell , I bet that would work now that ya mention it. !

Its where YABBA DABBA DOO came from... Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllmmmmaaaaaa
I own a BW1911 R2 CO2 , thanks for the tips. The grease did the job for me ! ( problem was massive leak of gas ). Great video, keep it up !
Although this video is several years old, I had this issue with a Co2 Airgun. (2022) Used the silicone "gel" I use for plumbing (O-Rings) let it sit on the seal for 3-4 days, loaded in a cartridge and NO LEAKS!!!!! Thank You so much for this fix!
I bought my first air gun from this guy and he tought me the same strategy for maintenance. Very helpful person and passion business.
Chiinnature, thank you so very much for the idea about using silicon grease. I used the end of a toothpick to carefully apply silicon grease to the two quad seals and quad seal retainers in the valve assembly of my old Crosman 357. It worked great. I went from getting 30 shots per CO2 cartridge to 60 shots! I was about to throw the gun away before trying your idea. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I really enjoyed your video, far superior to others that I watched.
Scott ThompsonThompson Thank you!!!
When recommending grease and/or oil it's important to make the distinction between silicone and petroleum based lubricants. Petroleum based lubricants tend to eat away at seals eventually causing a leak, rather than preventing them.
Because it's thick so thick so slick it will stick :D:D:D
All righT !!!!!
7:16 because its so thick and its so slick, so it will stick :)
Anton: I was about to select this part but you beat me to it-it needs to be a t-shirt with the dude’s face!
Great video, full of energy.
Many thanks for your useful and important presentation. Since I have two new pistols, and have great problems with the co2 gas capsels, I am very grateful for your advise. Thank you again!
I know this is an older video, but I wanted to let you know... it's very helpful. I just got a Umarex air pistol and I will be using a lot of this information. Thank you.
Great video! I was struggling with my Crossman 2240 Carbine conversion. First cartridge stuck horrible. let it alone two years. Put new cartridge in it twice. Cocked it, pulled the trigger just to have all the gas leak out. Thumbs up!!!!
Thank you, great fix and you are very entertaining. Another good thing about silicone is that it doesn't attract dirt and dust like petroleum lubricants.
Your explanations are based on science and they are helpful! Using the hair dryer to dry the oil, the seal would be warmed up and expanded to seal better is a great explanation!
Thank you so much for the information, I have now lost two magazines to gas leak and just thought the mags had broke but no
The tape fixed it for me!
Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks, particularly the way to use a hair dryer or low-power heat gun to soften the seals and help the grease soak in and do its job.
These are some great tips. I was able to resolve the slow leaking issue on my BB gun. Thank you so much..
exactly .. peace 😁👌
Im new to this stuff, got the Beretta PX4 Storm Co2 and love it. Worked excellently for the first 7 or 8 cartridges then started leaking. I never gave any thought to lubricating the seal, so thanks. I’ll see if that helps.
Always pelgun oil co2 bulb, and NEVER leave it in longer than the shooting session. I learned this to my cost. Since using pelgun oil every bulb and removing immediately after shooting l have had no problems
Chiinature, I have an airsoft revolver that I've had for a while and I accidentally left a cartridge in the gun for a day or two. My gun now leaks a lot of Co2 everytime I put in a new cartridge and I'm left with only a little air left which greatly reduces the number of shots and power of my gun. I know you addressed this in your video, but which fix would you use? I can't easily get the seal out since it's attached to the main part of the gun. Would the silicon grease fix the problem even if the valve is pushed back a bit? (Not entirely sure what the problem is yet.) Thanks in advance!
Does ur revolver spit out the rest if the air from the barrel when the power is low?
Hey there, thanks for an awesome video. I really wished that I found this a few days ago. I'm new to c02 pistols and didn't know what oil to purchase. I've purchased a crossman chamber oil. Will it be fine for my hand gun or do I really need pellgun oil?
Sir, you have a great personality! Thank you for the instructional video! Keep doing what your doing you just helped alot of people, you rule!!!
This was extremely good video. Just got my first co2 pistol, and want to keep it in good condition. Thanks from Canada!
I Also heard somebody say that the plastic disc you find on the inside of a cap from a coke bottle(a plastic bottle) can be cut just a little bigger than the tip of the c02 canister and provide the same function. I haven't tried it, just repeating something I heard.
Nice vid. 👍good stuff. Very experienced content & thanks for the tips.
Fixed it!!! Followed your simple advice. Mine was free and no workt.
The valve was stuck. I sprayed LUBRICANT NOT WD40 and it worked well after a few resets and resprays.
Works like a new one now.
Thanks dude!
Silicone grease is also available from plumbing supply stores and you can bet it's a lot cheaper than going to an airgun supplier. It's very good for all O-rings and seals.
I have the crosman DPMS SBR , some of the batch of mags they have have a tendency to leak. , i tried one of your methods on one that i gave up on.And now i got it to work using the silicone spray method , cost me a couple of c02s,but that is still cheaper than buying a new mag at $65 , thanks
Love your video. Very good to know that all these applications can help the age old problem of sealing properly with simple items. You may just have solved my problem. I used to leave the un-spent cylinder locked in for long periods of time without any lubricants. That has now changed. Thank you.
The Silicone Grease looks like my silicone Teflon mix grease. And i think you could use a o-ring too.
Regards Thomas
currently trying with teflon grease and teflon tape.. hopefully it works. this is a brand new mag ffs
Great explanation, you are a good person. Thank you for taking time out of your day to explain this to us. Cheers from California
Glad it was helpful!
Very cool tricks. I have a P38 leaking and will try all the above until I get it fixed. Good job brother.
if one tape application doesnt do it .. try two layers .. good luck
i just bought last week a Tac-force Tf-11 mac 11..It worked great but now after 10 mags or so the gas leaks out instantly unlike before a slight hiss when putting a new cartridge in...what could be the problem> tnx
Great video man, keep it up:)
Best video I've seen on the common Co2 issues!
I like the silicone grease treatment
7:13 its super thick, super slick, will stick.. this guy is great man
Thanks for this ( and others ) videos!!
Hey bro I have a elite force Abu tried the airsoft lube thing and the tape method still doesn't work :( any suggestions?
Thanks Mark, great tips helped me cure my leakage problem, Peter
I have a daisy model 100 ( the really old first semi auto co2 BB gun Daisy made) that takes the short 8 gram co2 tanks but it always instantly leaks out. The piercer looks kinda rough. Should I just use the grease and o rings?
Thank you sir this video was a big help and very informative . Thank you.
Works!! Remember silicon grease is the same as Dielectric grease.
Dude i love your vídeos!
Excellent vid. My 1960’s era Daisy Powerline 200 .177 BB Gun thanks you! Maybe she’ll run again! It’s an awesome gun!
Hey, thanks for the great video. I've got a quick question,
Here in India it's not easy to buy airguns, and it was really troublesome for me to buy a beretta px4 storm airgun, and that too at a really expensive price (around 400 USD). So it's really hard to find any oils or other equipments as well.
Do you have any other alternative that I can use that will solve the same purpose? I was able to open the valve part from your beretta px4 storm maintenance video. It Really helped. Thanks in advance :)
Great video with very good tips! Thanks
So to preserve the seal where the co2 goes is best to lube it so it lubes the inside of the guns and seals?
Silicone grease worked beautifully! Thank you!
Thanks for the tips. I look forward to your other videos
Hey I bought some Pyroil silicone lubricant & I'm just wondering if it's the pure kind & not the 3 in one kind? Also Has anyone used it on there co2 clips before & had success with it?
Thanks man you are the best
The easiest way is to just put in a simple o ring. No more leaking problem fixed. U welcome!!
Lots of great info. Thanks.
Tip - cut a slingshot band (flat type) slightly larger than the c02 tip, which will loosely stick to the tip with oil applied. After the first c02 makes a seal, you should be able to use quite a few before having to change out the rubber.
Retail slingshot rubber is probably the highest quality available.
Thank you for this advice. I used the silicon grease..and worked....before I seen this video..I looked at buying a the seal itself...but was shocked to find it was more expensive than buying the full mag... I've ordered another mag.. for a beretta m9a3..I'd advise all not to mess about with tape...just get the silicon grease... once again thank you. Job well done..
Can this silicone spay work to seal the co2 instead of expensive stuff they sell for the gun?
this was very helpful thank you!
is there any place where i can get the repair kit for my co2 gun?
Nice tips ,some of which I had no idea about. But I have a question.
Why not just buy new seals?are they difficult to replace?hard to find ,or expensive? As far as I saw ,the first seal is talways the problem - the one in contact with the co2 cartridge. Not many mechanical problems with these things ,most are leaking issues.
Is that first seal the same for all guns or does it differ by model?
I would like to see some seal replacement videos.Thanx
Xin You Seals are not hard to replace, but they are mostly hard to find or hard to disassembl. A lot of guns require you to change the seals by taking out hte valve and then unscrew a brass ring and replace.. but just doing that is very impossible for most people. So instead of screwing around your gun, there are much easier fix for most people at least. The silicone grease will fix most problems!
i love this guy. Subbed
Enjoy videos on co2 BB guns . I’m a fan . But would like to know where to find o-rings for uzi magazine ? I followed your tips but no go wondering if you know where to get o-rings for magazines. Help would be much appreciate it thank you
Thankyou brother, got a new Walther ppq, leaks from new, and will try. I'm glad I found your channel,
Great video. Very helpful. Thanks
Hello, I have used pellet gun oil in my czp09 and found after some days it getting burst. Whenever i placed co2 cartridge it gives leakage sound and on pulling the trigger the semiautomatic become automatic. Moreover the pellets stuck not fired when
damnnnnn 😳 bad vibes
Super video. Thank you so much for all the info.
Where are subtitles? I want to translate this to Bulgarian, and later to Russian and Hungarian. I am impressed that your trick works so that even the official dealer of silicon lube in Bulgaria is interested. Also many-many BB gun owners.
I got the cr 357 by crosman i wonder if the silicon spray would work on it?
Thanks for the video. It worked great and fixed the issue.
Lots of options . Very good ! Thank u !!
My name is John from New York City USA America, your video is so helpful for me. I have several co2 handguns and rifles. and I never knew about this tricks of yours. I knew about the oil but not the Teflon tape or the grease i didn't know, again thank you so MUCH....
KEEP SHOOTING 👍
instead of teflon tape you can use liquid o-ring and put a tiny layer on top of your co2 cartridge. and that "WILL" fix the leak tested and worked.
Where do You find liquid O ring?
What size do you use?
Thank you very very much!! Very helpful!
Gday mate. iv got a problem with a we SIG 226. the mag dumps all of it's gas after two or three shots. any advice?
The seals are of neoprene. They don't expand from the solvents in the lubricant. The lubricant does allow parts to slip around the seal, rather than pinching and damaging the seal.
This helped so much oml thank you
Right on thank U!! I'll try it... good preventive info.
Best video I've seen on this, tried the plumbers tape before and it didn't fix the leak on my Makarov... Silicone grease worked a treat though, Pistol now shoots 'A.O.K.' Cheers dude ;-)
My hammer block seal was toasted, unscrewed it out slightly, and dabbed it silicone on the threads and reset it. Works great again also
thanks man! very helpful
Excellent suggestions
Great job pal big help 👌👌👌
Glad it helped
My son has a Walther P99 CO2 gas blow back pistol that just started leaking CO2 when he would put in the cartridge. We tried the teflon tape and it didn't work. Suggestions please!!!
Lol the end was funny! Would like to see him playing a match of airsoft. I think it would be cool.
Good video!.....You covered multiple solutions, so I'll try the silicone grease or spray to reform the seal...then plumbers tape as last resort....
Facts. Me too.
Thanks for the tips.
Going to try some on my old Crossman 150s.
Very helpful thank you!
Very good tips thank you very much i have not tried silicon loop but will try and say my opinion
My Crossman C 11 is misfiring on the same day as I purchased it. I fired maybe 60 bbs and then it started misfiring.
Can you tell me what may be wrong.
Thx
Well done! Thanks!
Thank you for your information! All my air guns say Thanks to you by prolonging their life!
Can you do a video on how to remove/replace the spring in glock 19x co2 spring
Love the game selection in the background
I remember watching your video many years ago lol, nice channel!
Thanks so much.. Totally worked, Subbed! Used this on the Bushmaster MPW semi\automatic gun Magazine.. you saved me 70 bucks! Thanks!
Thanks. Worked a treat!
YESSSIRR! I’m gonna try all of this tomorrow!
Got a blowback gen 3glock and everytime I put my co2 in the air just shoots out the rear end of the tip of the magazine. Mine got a bunch of seals tho so we’ll see
Very good information and ideas!
Thank you very much for your suggestions. I forgot about teflon tape! Fingers crossed.
.. no teflon ,, just get some decent quality electrical tape .. same modus 😁👌
