    It's great to see how it feeds butyrate producers so nicely! I have a question , How is your bifido so good? I've taken antibiotics but not a crazy amount and my bifido is very crappy 😂.Thanks for your experiment!

      I'm super astonished by my Bifido lately! I really, truly think that all the good numbers are due to the Glucomannan and the PHGG (usually it's like 0.1%)! That's why I need to re-do the experiment- I think I'll be able to prove this hypothesis if I take it nice and slow and gather more data points along the way.

    Hi Dr DiNezza! I’ve been taking a tablespoon of crushed linseed as well as a capsule of L.plantarum each day for almost a decade for IBS. They’ve done wonders for me, however I feel it’s time to try something new. How would you recommend transitioning to PHGG? Can linseed and L.plantarum be taken alongside it? I should also mention that a -mab i started take for eczema one year ago can deplete goblet cells.

    Love Dr DiNezza! thought - maybe worth looking at blood type to find out more about gut microbiome as different blood types show different types of digestion and absorption. As a bloody type O with no appendix (necessary to maintain gut flora) I have a kinesiologist check me now and again for probiotics - different ones needed at different times. Also I take glutamate when needed as other health issues forced me to use NSAIDs which are suppose to be OK but actually damage the gut - resulting in a flare up of diverticulosis. The flare up was fixed after a few days.

    Just finished this video and your glucomanannan video, I have said this before but you are literally the best on the internet! I did a 3 week gut sealing protocol using apple peel and hmo prebiotic(Joel Greene) My gut has been jacked since. Chronic floating loose poops. I had been hydrogen sibo symptom free for about 8 months prior but was trying to achieve those dream Bristol poops. My Genova stool test showed me elevated in some methane producers, desulfovibrio and citrobacter braakii but nothing too crazy before I did the HMO. Never consipated. When healing our gut, how do we change "what's normal" for our baseline long term?
    For example, if our baseline is an imbalanced gut currently and we want a healed gut baseline to be the norm for ourselves again?

    • @gutmicrobiomequeen
      @gutmicrobiomequeen  2 роки тому +3

      I'm not sure I understand the question. I think you're asking how to get long-term changes in the microbiome? If that is the question, it's still the usual suspects (probiotics, prebiotics, food, sleep, exercise), just for a longer duration than what I've done here. The real key to long-term changes seems to be dietary diversity, though. Particularly, diversity in the plants you eat.

There are so many possible contributing factors…bacteria are everywhere, on everything that we eat, breathe, and touch…even things like temperature, the phase of the moon could possibly have an effect.
