It's sad to hear you're struggling a bit with youtube stuff :( take care of yourself first and foremost! It's no good to be stressing out and trying to be a perfectionist or being harsh on yourself for how you think a video will be received. You should just be you and continue making art you like, that's what we're all here for, your passion! Don't let numbers pressure you to change any way you're not comfy with. All the best 💚
the part abt creating essentially just to talk to yourself cuz of lots of brain goop that u don’t wanna off load on ur irls especially cuz u think they prob don’t actually care, was so real and relatable, like that’s litch rally me too twin 😢🤞😞
Just so you know: Plenty of artsts jump around, zoom, pan, rotate, and flip their cavasas wildly; they just use recording methods that don't record canvas movement, so in the end it looks like they achieved that still viewing experience without actually sacrificing the way they feel comfortable drawing. From my understanding its used a lot professionally too, but since I don't record my drawings, I can't personally recommend a method to you.
this video was such a good background video to watch while drawing, it was very enjoyable listening to you and your redraw turned out amazing!! i especially loveeee the colours, there is so many bright colours yet they go soo welllll with eachother!!!

i've been having super bad art block lately cuz i've been having an art style crisis where i just have no idea what direction to take it. it's been making me really sad cuz i just end up hating everything i make as of recent. but seeing you go thru all your old art and talking about how you also didn't know where to go with your art and then seeing that beautiful piece where everything just clicked for you really inspired me and made me hopeful that maybe soon, i'll have that moment where everything just clicks for me and i'll finally be happy with my art again! thank you for making this video :)

It feels very calm and laid back, and sorta like just relaxing with a friend if that makes sense? I firmly believe that you should let yourself relax and make the things that make you happy. sometimes i press record ahead of time so that i can just get the jitters off and speak right after some speaking excercises
