as a knee brace user i was really pleasantly surprised when you gave fior one!! it’s uncommon to see knee braces outside of “athletic aids”, if at all, so seeing her with one made me really happy :]

I think the most interesting thing with watching OC redesigns is watching hoe artists become more comfortable with drawing new things they wouldn’t have drawn before, like different body shapes or mobility aids,
This has inspired me to go on an 8hr redesign of my OCs now lol

As someone who absolutely LOVES Gyaru, Your last character is so pretty and I love it!
They're all so cute omg!! I wanted to mention, gyaru is pronounced 'Gya-ru' with not much emphasis on the 'r' noise. It's basically just saying 'Gal' but how someone might pronounce it in japanese :)

What are you talking about...? Did you mean less emphasis on the "y", because otherwise that does not make any sense. I think you might be pronouncing it wrong.
@@haybale287 Nope! Gyaru is spelled 'ギャル' with 'ギャ' being 'Gya'. So the 'y' is meant to be pronounced. Japanese R's are usually pretty soft- like a mix of an r and an l. :)

Love love love to see your progress and development!! Also as someone who wears a knee brace - rarely, but it does help when my pain flares up - I loved to see it! I have a character with EDS who I often draw with a knee and or elbow brace. It's fun to add these details and having people (or yourself) relate to it :)

This reminds me I need to redesign some certain characters. My sister created them and the story based off of a roblox game but I made designs and backstories for all of them. I think I’m gonna change the story too to make the bad guy more evil.

I've had a gyaru character in the works (from what I've heard, it's pronounced gee- like geek -arr-doo but a really soft d sound. It's like a japanese way of saying the english word gal) and from my pinterest based research and in my unprofessional opinion, it looks like your girly falls under manba and ganguro. Also I think it'd be so good if she was a gamer girl's avatar where when she's on mic she's super ditzy and cutesy but when she's muted and talking to her chat she's ruthlessly plotting the downfalls of everyone else in the game

This is just a suggestion but maybe for the explanation of why she has a prosthetic is because her irl counterpart has one and feels insecure but in the digital world she feels confident in being this persona who IS proud of showing her prosthetic? Many potentials to be had with this character ÙwÚ

lovely art and commentary. i have one issue that i have to assume is the editing of the video rather than my tablet, since other vids i clicked on were fine: the audio of your video is very low. even turned up to 100% it sounds like i have you on maybe 40%. i typically have my volume around 50%, so you might be able to imagine how low it sounded when i was on my typical settings.
Thank you for the feedback!! Ive been trying to figure out how to regulate my volume better when editing 😭 I usually keep my volume up higher so I’ll keep that in mind for next time!

What do you use to record your voice and art? and what do you use to edit it all together
omg hey!!! so my speedpaint is the basic procreate timelapse! I record using a blue snowball microphone. I edit everything together in wondershare democreator, where i also use it to record my voice over :)
@@alocowberry oh really? How do you control the speed of the Timelapse? Mine always go by really fast
@@RDKPaintingJellybeans when you export your Timelapse’s, get the “full timelapse” instead of 30 seconds, then when I put them in demo creator, I can slow down and control the speed of the clip :)
