No brother I would not argue anything with you. I'm very new to all this myself and have so much to learn. I started educating myself on dreadlocks six months ago and have only had locks for four months. So I'm just a baby, a 65 year old baby, but I have much to learn. Thank you for sharing all that you do with us!
I don't have locks but I really enjoy learning about them from you. Honestly I could listen to you read from a phone book and it would chill me out 🤗 Love and best wishes from Ireland 💚🇮🇪💚
Man, l could listen to you day and night. Your voice is incredible. It’s so hypnotic. The wisdom that you impart is truly off the scale amazing. I now have “Wash you hair. Those locs on your head are true goal and l love they that you anoint they with love, care, and, attention. Don’t be scared when a strange person stops you in the street to stroke and feel your hair. Kris Mc Dred I love your energy and all your lessons on locs. Thank you so much King much appreciated. I'm almost one month into my journey. But I've been watching your videos to get education on doing my journey right for some time now. Stay blessed
Love this and it's so true! I agree with everything you've said. I'm on my second loc journey (14 months) and I'm documenting it on my channel this time. My first set of locs I had for 12 years but I cut them off in 2015 after dealing with bad migraines and the weight of the hair. I had some thinning during those years and it was mostly from dyeing a few times and getting too frequent interlocking sessions. Also, my 1st journey the loctitian didn't take into account I had at least 3 different hair textures so for the area with the finest hair the locs thinned out the heavier and longer they got and I had to start marrying them. This time, I started my journey myself with two strand twists because there are no loctitians where I live. I haven't interlocked my hair one time in this journey and my hair which is fine actually looks much fuller. I will be tuning in for more tips! Thank you!👍🏽
I tried interlocking on my dreads where my bangs would be undreaded and I regret it deeply, they are so thin and I had 2 fall out a year later. I probably didn't do it right either. The rest are doing great however!
🤣ooops I was just twisting my locs at home and then I stumbled into this video. Too much locking must be the culprit for my hair breaking. This was helpful. Thanks for the tips
Okay I've done some f these and I've had my dreads for a year, I'm stopping immediately! You're teaching us stuff at every video I'm always so excited when you upload!
I'm about to be ten months loc'd and I have already been told "time for a retwist huh". Like you said, our hair isn't meant to be sleek. If that was the case, it would grow out of our roots as such. I enjoy the natural, thick look. I wish our people would embrace our kinks and coils more. Enjoyed the vid!
this was well informed and to the point. i have been told to wash your hair every 3 to 4 weeks and living in the Caribbean I wondered if it was ok to wash my hair every week. never the less. your tips are worth its weight in gold
This video was so helpful thank you. My locs are 7 years old and I have recently started having thinning on my ends and I kind of figured it was related to the color I had years ago as well as the braid out styles I use to do frequently. I am interested in seeing a crochet, how to, video from you.
Makes sense! Thank you! March 2024 made my hair 4 years old, my favorite loc broke off towards to bottom. My hair is a little past mid back length and its also getting caught on things so i dont wear it down anymore. & I now see I also need to wash my hair more which lucky for my, i actually enjoy washing my hair. I was just thinking i washed it too often, it wasn't drying properly in the colder months.
