This looks so very relaxing. I would love for someone with nice strong hands and fingers to wash my hair. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my hands are affected, that's one of the things I miss, being able to do for myself.
Wow, thank you so much for this video. I’ve been liking my hair for 20 years now and honestly I don’t wash my hair enough but it’s always because it takes way too long for it to dry but now that I see how you’re doing yours I’m gonna try this out Your channel is such a blessing. Just discovered it recently. Be blessed and continue doing God’s work you truly are a blessing to our community.
Greetings @KrisMcDred.. I give thanks for de unique teachings about dreadlocks.. Am in my 10th year lock journey.. Living in Kampala Uganda, East Africa. I would really love to have a chance to be worked upon by a professional Locktician like you.. And do you offer classes for those in need of joining the business as professional Lockticians?
He washes his hair very frequently. Very likely this isn’t his first set of dreads. Most of us wash only once every 2 weeks or monthly cause we were taught that it helps with locking. To avoid build up one must wash their hair more frequently.
I wash every two days.. every 4 I shampoo and condition depending on work it may be more frequent. No issues.. I been washing like this the one thing I learned today was not to ring or twist my wet dreads. Drying is the important part.

What products do you use to wash your Locs?
I put my friends' dreadlocks in my hair,
What is the best way to wash it without cutting them?
I'm not used to the weight of them on my head 😅
What temperature should the water be?
Hi Kris. Have your locs gathered lint over the years?
I'm struggling with some visible lint in my locs and wondering if colouring it black will help

What shampoo/ conditioner do you recommend? I have always been afraid of buildup
i use 4U shampoo n conditioner. its a clarifying shampoo which is great then a lightweight conditioner. its so nice
Best shampoo to use?
Imma say Biolage(Hydration Shampoo). 👌🏽
Does this technic work the same for starter locs.
Let your stylist wash your hair until you develop some decent length
I started washing my own locs 5 months in and they didn't unravel I also notice length even after shrinkage
For starter loss you may wanna wash with a durag on
🤔Every 3 days?? oh my!! I know locs love water but that's a lot of water🤣
