@@taylor15games I'm pretty sure the Naoya Mach 3 thing is more of a mistake in terms of scaling since pre-awakened Maki catching Mai's point blank bullet has been calculated to be way faster than Mach 3 reaction speeds. We also have feats like Hakari reaction to Kashimo's lightning and Sukuna reacting to Mythic Beast Amber. I'm not gonna argue light speed for anyone tho

He is. Gege is writing himself into a corner here. Gojo dying was still handled horribly with the offscreening, but his death was okay, as him fighting Sukuna and weakening him to the point where at least others have some chance of beating him made sense. Because Yuta already confirmed it that a full power 20 finger Sukuna demolishes everyone with negative difficulty except for Gojo. But now we’re getting to the point where his RCT and CE output is returning, he hit a black flash so he also got amped by that. It won’t be long before he regains his domain expansion, and logically, no one except for Gojo should be able to survive that.
So, either they are killing him before that, Gojo returns (btw, if Yuta will survive the same cut that Gojo received but Gojo isn’t, it’s bs) , or it will come to the point where the only thing that makes sense is Sukuna winning.
There was also really no need to go as far as to say that he’s still holding back, while already demolishing everyone. Uraume saying “you should be thankful to Gojo, he’s the only reason Sukuna can’t use his full power… yet.” or something like that would’ve been better. Right now it just feels like the only reason everyone isn’t dead because Sukuna is so bored he don’t even want to go all out, but he could end it anytime he wants.
He's recovering output, but he is still burning through his CE reserves at a fast rate, and he can't recover his reserves mid-fight
I would not be surprised if we get an ending even worse than what we got in Naruto. The level of bullshit surrounding Sukuna doesn’t even rival Madara because it is so much more ridiculous.

1. sukuna block maki soul sword by protecting his soul with Ce ( aka Ce reinforcement for his soul)
2. Nanami did the same against mahito attacks in chap 23. mahito states people can guard their soul with Ce too,when they can recognize thier soul.
3. Sukuna split his soul into finger = he can recognize his soul. Plus now he can heal the soul cause he knows the outline of his soul.

Sukuna just remove the handsigns, when gojo remove the handsign & stance from 235 purple(unlike 223 purple) and only use the chant, noone complained.(its clear chants are the most important part)

The sword is stated to ignore all durability. Reinforcement is sort of irrelevant. Also, if he had the ability to protect his soul is such a way, why didn't he use this ability when Yuji was hitting him with soul shattering punches? Was he not reinforcing his soul during those barrages of attacks? If so, how did he get stabbed in the first place?
Nanami protected his soul from being transfigured, not destroyed. Those are two different attacks.
Until it's actually explained, it is a plot hole, and you're using head canon.

The issue is less how strong he is, it’s more how his strength has been displayed in the story. At first it was cool because we was just starting to see how strong he was (or so we thought), but then it’s revealed that he was holding back and it’s like “oh…”.
So now we have to wait more just to see his full strength and then from there the heroes have to get strong enough to even attempt to defeat him again, the issue is that any way other than Gojo coming back to assist in Sukunas defeat will feel like an ass pull because of how Sukunas strength is being displayed in the story.
Gege wrote himself into a wall here…

I would personally have him beat everyone and spawn in the merger beast, so Sukuna could lose to that but he causes enough damage to it to where the rest of the crew could take it out.
That’s the only way I see it ending without it feeling like an asspull.

Sukunas just too strong in fact he was even when yuta/ maki were still healthy and he wasn’t black flash amped and before we knew he was still holding back. Now a few more ppl will die and an asspul will most likely happen making the win feel less genuine at the end.

My problem is the whole “not trying” angle. Sukuna would not have the world cutting slashes if not for Mahoraga. He went through a grand plan to Megumi for the 10 shadows technique with the purpose of using it to take down Gojo…except he didn’t know the details of Mahoraga until he fought him in Shibuya. So outside of getting the 10 shadows, which led to his world slash, what has he shown that would’ve been a problem for Gojo? Nothing. Which means he would’ve had to at least try significantly harder with his original body and techniques of we’re to believe he had his own native way to win. Which makes little sense considering the effort he put into getting the 10 shadows.
Where has it said sukuna isn't trying, there statements like Uraume one we don't actually know why she thinks that or what that actually means or why he would be holding back if he is at all. So instead of overthinking and ruining your experience, let the story flow no point getting your thoughts twisted every panel week to week because it just won't make sense.
Lastly, wym what shown to be a problem for gojo, sukuna whole character Is the problem, his domain, his out right smartness and wisdom from the very start. The confusion with many fans is that they don't realise gojo wasn't never the strongest because sukuna is here. Its as simple as their titles, ones the king and ones the strongest scorcer known in the jujutsu society, sukuna is beyond that society which is why gojo death wasn't a surprise to fans who have analysis The manga since the start, that's just my take and others I've seen

I don’t mind Gojo losing, but him losing to a move that Sukuna didn’t have at the start of the fight or at any other point in his history makes it hard to believe he’s not trying when his whole battle plan was to outlast Gojo until Mahoraga adapted in a way he could replicate. If Sukuna had his own technique he could use to stop Gojo, why go through the trouble of getting the 10 shadows? Occam’s razor lends that if Sukuna had his own technique to beat Gojo he would’ve chose the simpler path to do it. And as of yet, Sukuna has done nothing outside of the world cutting slash that would be a problem for Gojo.

My issue isn’t Sukuna being the strongest since it makes sense because he is the peak of jujutsu sorcery like Gojo Satoru, but evening better. The problem was that I can’t logically see them winning this fight, especially after finding out he’s not trying. But I’m still interested to see how this plays out

I think the burnout from the fight with gojo and the coming chapters are all leading up to something. We saw in the fight with gojo that sukuna will brag and get glazed and then immediately get humbled like when his brain got overloaded. If anything, sukuna will destroy himself in this fight.

it is said that he can heal his heart by using RCE on his soul so maybe he is doing the same by protecting his soul with CE like nanami did against his first fight against mahito
Also it’s only fair to point out that Maki used the same sword to block world slash even though it’s light cuts the world. So if anything that sword should be cut in half last chapter. But I always interpreted the sword to target the soul but an opponent like Mahito would not die of one slash but multiple since he has a more durable soul. Plus to add on. The narrator straight upside that Sakuna and Yuji have a better understanding of the soul due to sharing the same body for a long time.

Sukuna has always been this powerful. We just never saw it because he was never pushed this far+we never actually saw a true form all out full power sukuna at his full potential. Most of the time even during the gojo fight, we never saw sukuna's true power.
And we shouldnt be surprised that sukuna's true power is showing now. All of this was just Kenjaku's plan to give Sukuna a good fight.
Yuji is Sukuna's dead twin brother, reincarnated by Kenjaku. He'll be the one to give sukuna a good fight. Sort of like how Hagoromo gave naruto and sasuke six paths sage mode and they awoke and fought against Juubidara. JJK is extremely inspired by naruto so yeah it'll probably happen.
At the end though Sukuna will still win because i live inside gege's walls, and i know he has a sukuna body pillow.

Here's the thing about Yuji landing a "black flash soul punch", Sukuna should also be able to do it especially cos it involves the use of CE. Whatever Yuji is doing to the soul, Sukuna should be able to as well and even better. Pple don't understand how brilliant and skilled with jujutsu Gege HAD ALREADY established Sukuna to be. This is a guy who, spilt his soul, healed CT burnout etc after just seeing them done once. So him not being able to replicate what Yuji is doing would be the bigger asspull. Now especially that Yuji has ingested other cursed wombs. What if Sukuna rouses them up the way Yuji is tryna do to Megumi?
Also, Sukuna was in Yuji when he used consecutive black flashes so he must've observed the conditions it took for Yuji to almost use it at will.
That's why I say the biggest asspull that'll come outta jjk would be if Gege makes Yuji defeat Sukuna on his own. There's technically nothing Yuji can do, as long as it involves CE, that Sukuna cannot replicate immediately and even perfect.
I'm interested in seeing how Gege will write his defeat (if he's to be defeated) but it should just not be by Yuji's hands alone at any point.

Sakuna is exactly what he was advertised to be. He has ALWAYS been labeled as a THE PINNACLE OF JUJITSU. Tengen and Kenjaku (both are beings at the top of jujitsu) reverence him as a JUJITSU god essentially. Sakuna is Madara Uchiha done right....so far. I absolutely love this character because he is the strongest but constantly seeking the true pinnacle of strength.
At this rate, I foresee that Hana Kurusu (who loves Megumi) will give Megumi a Jesus moment to win against Sukuna.
I think Gege DEFINITELY wrote himself in a corner with this current fight. First off, he's STILL holding back despite literally dying in front of everyone's eyes? Without a heart? Without most of his blood in his body? It was bad enough when Gege gaslit the fanbase with this after Gojo's "death," but even now at this point with Maki its just ridiculous. I don't see how any of them can catch up enough to beat Sukuna without the help of Gojo. If he brings Gojo back, it will destroy the urgency of death in the story. But if he doesn't, how is he gonna kill Sukuna without an asspull? And another problem on top of that. If Yuta survives the world cutting slash, it will make us question how he lived when Gojo didn't. And that already is on shaky ground considering Kashimo was able to dodge it before, while Gojo couldn't.
You can see the dilemma here. Sukuna's strength has not been presented in the best way in the story. It feels like Gege is grasping at straws for SOMETHING to even remotely explain why Sukuna isn't dead or why he is still not even close to being pushed by anyone. It feels pretty ridiculous, especially when we are seeing him visibly getting cut to pieces, stabbed, eradicated by Jacob's Ladder, and punched to a bloody pulp by Yuji, Yuta and Maki and NOTHING seems to matter at all. What even happened to all that talk of Yuji "loosening" his hold over Megumi's body and lowering his CE? He smacks him around enough to get the best of him and yet can get up, world slash everyone without getting sure hit in the domain, and black flash Maki?

Gege clearly has given Sukuna endless plot armor. Meanwhile, we clearly see he hated Gojo. His most popular character.
Why would you even suggest that Hakari's domain could match Sukuna's? That's the most ridiculous take I've heard. Ok, Hakari opens his domain and gets a jackpot. Then what? His domain is harmless as his sure hit is just a bunch of info dump. So after his domain closes, how will he fight Sukuna's domain? Let's say he survives the slashes (cos his RCT is touted to be better than Gojo who also survived it). What happens after 4'11"? You think he'd be able to open another while Sukuna's slashes are raining down? Sukuna destroyed Gojo's barrier several times how much more Hakari.
Hakari is easy to deal with as long as you have an external force on his barrier which is why he's a bad matchup for Sukuna [and Yuta who can just have even a partial Rika destroy it from outside].
All this is assuming Sukuna just decides to wait out the 4 minutes. If Sukuna decides to go on the offensive with or without his domain active, he could cut him in half or destroy his brain.
Finally someone is talking about it the series literally fell off a cliff never been less hyped and more bored reading a series week to week

He is using Slashes to block the sword. I don’t see completely why he would need to to make hand generators to send off slashes when we’ve seen him NOT use his hands before (for example he used slashes to Skate around Shibuya when fighting Jogo)
And for the last argument. The sword isn’t completely 100% 10000% perfect at its job of cutting the soul. It is only a copy of the original sword by someone who’s never even seen or interacted with the original and only MAYBE heard a story about it at some point. This version of the world could have a cool down that turns off and on the soul cutting ability. Or maybe a combination of the first argument you don’t need a ton of CE to protect your soul from it. Or you need to also be aware of your opponents soul to cut it and Maki just isn’t that great at seeing peoples souls

It's definitely bad writing. This series has become an embarrassment of what it used to be. It's so boring and predictable now. Character development and plot are nonexistent. Gege's hatred and complaints about Gojo he's replicated 10 fold with Sukuna. Kenjaku was an infinitely better antagonist than Sukuna and his death was a major disappointment. Sukuna is basically Cartman in the ninja episode of Southpark where he has every power and ability under the sun.

Im honestly kinda frustrated witg jjk at this point but I wanna see how it ends. My main reason of frustration is that its all about Sukuna. I miss the dissaster curses. I miss Kenny man. I knew Sukuna is the final big bad, but everything but Im just kinda tired of him. It isnt that he kills characters that I like. Im just tired of this guy. Here and there of something greater, but we never see ANYTHING. Sukuna might aswell be a tall wall of cursed energy that the characters try to climb, and they fall down and die trying to climb it.

Tbh I think every person who can use cursed energy or has a cursed technique has the potential to use the “black box”. Or rather I believe that it’s a universal ability like black flash or RCT that anyone can achieve, but in this case Sukuna has been the only sorcerer that we know of to learn and/or master the ability of observing cursed techniques and replicating them. Or creating a variation that’s more of his interpretation of what the technique “should” be like when its potential is fully realized. But in order to wield them all, he had to learn how to manipulate the “black box” contained within the brain so that it doesn’t get overloaded from multiple techniques

I think Gege did a big disservice to the community with the Flame Arrow/“Black Box” moment and the airplane black box analogy he used for CTs, especially since the anime has now adapted this scene. I always saw the “Black Box” as a censor for a word in Kanji that Gege does not want us to know yet so it was censored; it’s not like in the anime Sukuna says it anyway which is my justification. The theory has had a foothold in the community for sometime now but I think at this point it has no foundation to support it; Sukuna doesn’t say “black box open.”
About the soul split katana being blocked I believe that Sukuna is defending his soul kinda like Nanami did against Mahito for the first time. I'm pretty sure Sukuna is trying to heal the entire time so he's conscious about his soul so if the soul split katana attacks the soul defending the soul would block it in theory right?

No, he's blocking it with the slashes. Its not shown that way(*might be fixed with the volume release) but that's what's happening there. The whole purpose of introducing that mini slashes which work like infinity against yuta was so that sukuna can clutch them against the soul splitter

7:52 Gojo actually forced him so hard to the point of him using his reincarnating body but Gege decided to Off-screen Haki him instead. Gojo getting kill by Sukuna with his reincarnated body+world cut slash is a much better writing than Off-screen Haki.
