Fully got sidetracked when you talked about seasoning. Next time you try red meat and want a quick and easy dry rub ish concoction, try 3 parts salt to 2 cayenne, 1 paprika, 1-2 garlic powder, and if you feel like it 1/2-1 ground ginger. Adding the ginger is great for red meats but it can be a little much for other meats
I'd suggest that if you're going 2 parts garlic powder and especially ginger, drop it to 2 parts salt, or even less. Might be bias, I tend to use very little salt in my cooking, but I've always found those two to very easily give the dish a kick that makes salt redundant, and sometimes lower the quality of the aftertaste.
I think one of the hardest parts for me about sharing any sort of recipe is the fact that I don't tend to measure things all that well, except by "yeah, that looks about right." If memory serves, I add something like elven or twelve different things to burgers when I make them, and the proportions of each are purely running off of how it's eyeballed.
Lord Spuddy, I see you went back to work immediately after evolving back into a person! I didn't expect you to master a bow this quickly after your last mission though Lord, after all aren't you recovering from being an anti-evolved single cell of suffering?
@@SpuddyCube Spuddy are you implying that there are responsible uses for fingers for a miscreant like myself? Next you'll imply there are responsible uses for a spine!
I really wish I could support you beyond commenting, liking, and subscribing. Your content is phenomenal, and you're just a good person. The world needs more people like you.
Just you being here is already so much more than I could ever ask for, and I really appreciate it. I'm glad that you can enjoy it, and I hope to not disappoint!
UA-cam refused to show this to me earlier but the description certainly rewarded me for checking if you'd uploaded anything new recently(and was planning on going on a rewatch if you hadn't!) As an archer main in many a game I'm sure this will be quite delightful to watch!
I liked the commentary on seasonings! Because yeah. Everyone is different and what is heavily seasoned for you could be mild seasoning for someone else! For me I don't tend to need a lot of seasoning because I'm a supertaster. (Except salt but that's because my sodium needs are higher than your average person.)
Either bombs or giants for mines. And some sort of slime normally. FFXIV gives us cute spriggans in their (first? ~tries to remember if we visit more than one~...we visit Copperbell twice and the enemies are sort of different so...does that count as two?) mine.
As always I greatly appreciate your arachnophobia warnings(wasn't needed for me for those ones) and refusal to show so many of the Very Much Warning Needed ones unless it was like important to the challenge. (Yes I did decided to multi comment instead of edit my first one as I watched...I think based on what others say this is better for the algorithm???...oh I'm gonna have to try and figure this out when my friends and I actually get our channel up and running aren't i? Oh no....)
If you are taking suggestions I have two games I believe you would enjoy playing through and may make for good challenge run content. Dredge - A lovecraftian horror story where you play as a fisherman with a memory issue. Has 2 endings and a really interstingly told story. If I were to suggest a challenge run for it I'd call it Sleepless Night or Insomniac (beat the game without ever resting this is extremely hard particularily in the beginning of the game) Roboquest - A Rougelite FPS thats like a mix of boderlands and doom but with robots. 6 Classes like 50 different weapons and one goal destroy the viris thats taking over. If i were to suggest a challenge run I'd say Fists of fury (you're only allowed to use the fist weapons this is deciptively difficult as whilst the fist weapons do considerable damage u need to get up close and personal to get ur kills and several enemies are going to punish u severly for doing so)
I tend to try to avoid runs that I know have been done/documented. A part of me is disappointed to see that Dredge has been done, because while I haven't tried it, I've heard nothing but good things. And all around, a sleepless eldritch fishing story just sounds incredible to get to play/work on. As for Roboquest, I think the issue would be the roguelite nature of it. A lot of things come down to RNG or meta progression. From the time that I have spent with the game though, it is really fun. I'm personally partial to Engineer, almost exclusively for the drones that it gets.
I haven't looked super deeply into it, but Vigil has definitely given me a new perspective on the genre. It looks like a really fun flavor of over the top.
I have it in my Steam library, but I haven't gotten around to giving it a shot. It does look really cool, but I don't think I was able to find a good run to try out as an excuse to give it a playthrough.
WHO IS READY FOR AN EXISTENTIAL CRIISIIIIIIIIIIIS!!!!!
29:05 As an AroAce myself, i have to admit that i found this joke absolutely hilarious.
33:22 well now I have to become an eldritch abomination just out of pure spite don't I.
I mean... I can't _stop_ you, but I wouldn't encourage it. Just imagine the clothes shopping struggles.
You were right in DM's... I have never heard of this game.
I told you!

Heya spud, hope you're having a good day

You ever played Blasphemous? It’s very similar to this and has some challenging platforming sections too alongside tough enemies. Highly recommend!
