- It’s honestly been a whirlwind of a year already, but I’m so excited to share the van build with you guys! I’m also looking forward to all the other adventures this will allow me to have this year.
I know a lot of you will be disappointed that the trailer is gone, but living tiny for me is so much healthier for my mental and physical health.

I would rather live in a van than a camper, because it's easy access to your driver side if needed. I feel like it's safer.

I totally get why you sold the trailer. We sold ours and bought a class B van and never regretted it. So much easier to travel and cheaper on fuel. We are just vacationers, not living in ours year round. Great to see you back and life sounds pretty good for you!

A van is great, of course. You're more flexible. No coupling and uncoupling. Where can I stand? Where do I leave the trailer when I have to go into town?
But standing height would be a must for me! I can't wait to see what you conjure up. And I'm glad that you have such great support from your sweetheart and no longer have to struggle with everything on your own. You are great!

My first choice for you has always been a van. Easier to find parking and park. Easier to make a quick getaway if you’re ever unsafe. Better gas mileage, and easier maneuvering in traffic than when you’re pulling weight behind. I’ve always worried about you pulling a trailer in high elevations. As a 70 year old mom and grandmother I’m bound to worry. Love the van. You and Pippa make a home wherever you are together ❤
The safety is primary. Especially as a solo woman

A polite opinion: When someone doesn’t quote the prices, I find myself getting distracted about what the price is. Many YTers do this. Imo, It would help viewers have a reference point for their own shopping needs, and to follow the story better.
Brooke is specific about the age and type vehicle and mileage. Car Guru list what others are paying along with pros & cons. Apparently it can last forever so Brookr won't lose much when she sells.
@@jreton8971 Sure but, I’m suggesting that the flow of the video goes off, for me, because I find myself wondering about the price as she is telling the story. Plus, if we can just look it up, why not just state it? It is the obvious avoidance of prices that I often find disconcerting. As stated, it is not just Brooke. I realize it is her fair choice not tell us; I am simply sharing feedback of the video content presentation. Hopefully, I am making sense.

I personally love these longer videos and honestly I always wondered or thought you would be great in a van. It's alot quicker and easier you can pick up and go at a moments notice. I have a 2003 Ford E350 superduty and its the best vehicle I have ever owned! I love it!! I added the hi-top from Fiberine.. GAME CHANGER🙌🏼 wish I was living in it full time. Definitely my retirement home in a few years ❤.. can't wait to see your build!
It makes sense to try things out! A trailer is a lot more upkeep plus you seem to thrive in vehicle dwelling. Have fun with the rebuild!

I'm super stoked for you and excited to watch the build! I love the kind of van you got, too. They just look so punk and edgy to me. It's nice to be able try lots of things out, including the luxury trailer. But like you said, priorities change and now you can be so much more mobile, more quickly, without it being a big production. Plus, it looks huge! That kind of space will be just as luxurious as the trailer (maybe even more, who knows).

Thanks for the long form update. Seems like life gave you a ton of curves but you are making your way through. Hopefully the van is a fun transition but it for now or for long term.
I can totally understand how you feel about going from the trailer to the van and the freedom it gives you and the simplicity in life which is some thing you’ve spoken of. I am so happy for you. It’s some thing that I have always wanted to do but with my life situation right now it would not work … so I live vicariously through you.
