92 obs Chevy 350. Stock exhaust manifolds. Large factory merge pipe. Gm offered two sizes, a smaller one and the larger 3 inch merge collector. Single 3 inch inlet Flowmaster 80 series with two, 2.5 inch outlet pipes out in front of passenger rear tire. Flowmaster can say it doesn’t drone all they want. It does. At highway speed you can hear me coming. It’s sounds good. But it’s not quiet. I have always hated that side saddle factory tank. I have a 1 ton, 31 gallon rear mounted tank behind the rearend. Hate the factory tank that doesn’t let you run a real dual exhaust setup. I have a real set of Nascar boom tubes. Really want to uses these on either this truck or my 74 Camaro. I hate dumps, I hate them on anything, that’s just lazy. And who wants all that exhaust under the vehicle.
Go to TRIPLE P get a 4l65 it'll hold, and he makes great transmissions out of pasadena Tx. He does Project torque and ondgas transmission for their trucks, and they beat the breaks out of them, and they never break...
Late models that can’t idle without being 300 decibels is unreal(mustangs and challengers). And they don’t sound clean at all. It’s almost as bad as the old pickups with foot long chrome boom tubes on stock exhaust pipes. You vehicles sound good in the videos. Your old green truck, in the red wave video years ago, the Godzilla truck, they sound good. But there are so many late model cars running around that juts sound loud, not good loud, just loud. They need to do better.
Philip need some Electric Exhaust Cutouts for when he drive the truck. Best of both worlds.

I'm running the same 9000 series mufflers on my OBS but without resonators and it is LOUD. but I'm not changing it yet.. over 40..
