Nice to see John again, and Rich, err and Tony
You nutters - not for riding in the snow, but for riding in the snow without studs! I love that kind of temperature (it's been my day to day for the last 2 weeks now) but it takes some time with getting dressed, as well as lost time to the rolling resistance of studded winter tyres.
Also, ski mitts and heated socks are an absolute must. A real game changer for me - I can still overheat at minus 12c
That was some nice riding and some good mates. Good on you for doing shout out to other channels. Stay warm and take care, Al
Thanks Josh! So good to see you lot.
Great to be out and a good group…I learnt many things but easily the most important was…you can never have enough ketchup or salt on yah chips.
Nice example of no such thing as ‘bad weather’ as long as you dress up properly. Very done lads, very refreshing and scenic ride 😊
You guys are tough up north 👌
Excellent video, having a laugh with your pals- can’t beat it 👌
Great looking video Josh. I was out on Saturday, offroad on my gravel bike around County Durham, absolutely love being out in these conditions!
In the same cold breath as you saying "I've never laughed so much at watching John trying to go in a straight line" ... then splat, down you go 😁
I love the idea of Rich calling his new route "the land between', as I know fine well just why he's calling it that, and I'm not just alluding to the obvious geographical reason. Nice one Rich 👏👌
And Josh 🚴♂️👍
Good on you lads for getting out, but as I only have a road bike, there's no off-road in the snow for me. It will be as much the indoor trainer as the wet roads now until end of March/early April. There's a loop up to the trig point at Great Bavington Rocks which yields one of my favourite 360 views' of Northumberland. Bonus to see the Toon 1-0 hammering of Manure. Stay safe out there.
Need to get you a Fat Bike Josh. Then come on over for The Montane Yukon Ultra..... that's COLD !!!
Mooi klasse 😊
Thanks Josh...skating , eh ? Too daft for words !
How do those skinny little tires get any traction on snow and ice?
This looks cold. You should go somewhere warm with mates
Hey man, we're hard up here. 😀
What tyres do you use to stay up
Josh, is there a link to 'The Land Between' event mentioned midway through your video?
The instagram page is the first link in my description and the website isn’t live yet
nice mustache
Hey Josh, what you training for next year?
First event is Strathpuffer. Still figuring the rest of the season out.
That's not north !
